Many comments about banning Ahmadinejad from an American public forum.
What next, "book burning"?
Did you know that Iran in 2003, besides ending it's nuclear program, offered
to recognize Israel? Did you know they offered in 2003 to end support for Hamas?
Bet you didn't.
Knowledge of this was hidden from the "free" people of America by it's
government.
The response to these offers was months of silence, until the silence
was ended by the 2004 State Of The Union Address. Remember that one?
That was famous for it's "Axis Of Evil" comment. Quite the response to
these dramatic offers.

The same people that want to "burn the books", that is, censure Ahmadinejad
are the same that supported an illegal invasion of Iraq, support the Bush government
that "lost" tens of thousands of weapons that went to insurgents. That supported a war of choice that has led to a million deaths in Iraq, that want a war of choice that would lead to multi-millions
of deaths...

That repeat the same zionist ring-thru-the-nose propaganda, over and over
and over.

It.s funny to read the comments by people blasting Iran and its leaders but they don't mention Saudi Arabia. Saudi has done more damage to more countries especially western, than anyone else. If you are so concerned about the homosexuals in Iran why not Saudi? There are way more civil rights violations attributed to Saudi Arabia. It's funny to watch Bush hold the hand of the Saudi King like a slave when he walks with him. The Saudi Royals have pumped more money into terrorists fighting the U.S. than most contributors, including Iran. The 911 hijackers were Saudis. Bin Laden - Saudi. But it goes back to the whole point of the exercise - MONEY! The Carlyle Group make their money from war. Who is on the board of directors? Bush senior and the Bin Laden family!!!! Why were the Bin Laden families' planes allowed to take off and head to Saudi in the wake of 911 when all other flights were grounded? Simple, if you can't do favors for the people who help line your pockets who can you help? Let the misguided, uneducated and coerced go fight your battles- just keep everyone scared and feed them misinformation because you only need to fool 51%. As we head into the Holidays and the Recession (wonder where the surplus went prior to Bush taking office) remember who you voted for- the attacks on 911 happened for a reason under GW's watch!

You know, I realize that this man supresses women's equality, and denies the existence of gay's in his country, but if you didn't know better, you might think the Dalai Lama wrote some of this. Instead of always focusing on our differences, and villianizing all that he says and does, I think we should set aside our differences, find some common ground and make an honest effort to make friends with him.

Seven and a half years ago, in the spring of 2000, during the Republican primaries of that year, when this present fool of a "war President," a (Republican) Skull and Bones member said, "if elected, I'll go after America's internal terrorists," I knew at that very instant, that split second, as these evil intended words came out of his programmed born-again, "Christ changed my heart" lying mouth, that this was a(nother) pogrom, a global pogrom on Judaism and on the Jewish People and on Israel.

Then, this "war President" visited Auschwitz and stood there with the smirk on his face and said, "History shows us what is possible."

Ahmadinejad (who, we are to believe, authored this Newsweek article) and Bush are one and the same in their invisible metaphysical selves, evil to the core.

I'd say that we have here a most serious case of Premeditated Crimes Against Humanity.

The "war on terror" in Afganistan and in Iraq was and is a trap, a set up, as was the Lebanon war, manipulated and orchestrated by the Illuminati military industrial complex of war profiteers and Reptile Brain warmongers who have infiltrated all nations, all governments, all groups, all media, to scapegoat the Jew, again, for all the ills of our One Humankind.

It must not have been easy for Newsweek to publish Ahmedinejad's opinion given the extreme pressure and veiled threats that we are all used to receiving from various quarters whenever anything remotely positive seems to be emanating from this needlessly-maligned personality. HATS OFF TO NEWSWEEK for standing up to the pressures and giving diversity of opinion a chance in its quest for objectivity in reporting.

Ahmadinejad's comments are just as soothing and clever as those Hitler used to appease Neville Chamberlain and millions others. There's no question Ahmadinejad is intelligent and articulate. The question we should be debating is what are his intentions and plans. Nobody wants another war like Iraq, but who wants another war more devastating than WWII? This is serious stuff.

Look it's not hard to argue that Ahmadinejad has questionable motives and a sketchy history of human rights abuses both outside and inside of Iran.

That being said I have a hard time not respecting the man as an intellectual and world leader. Can anyone imagine George Bush going to the University of Tehran and giving a speech, speaking with even a modicum of intelligence, or god forbid publicly debating his own motives and tactics of the past few years.

I fear for my american brethren, your country is quickly becoming the laughingstock of the world stage and rapidly a totalitarian regime of the worst order.
