Comment: Nicki Gosten YOUR INTERVIEW WAS AWEFUL.... WHY DIDNT YOU ASK ABOUT THE KATRINA RECOVERY, WHY WERE YOU ASKING ABOUT PITTS PERSONAL LIFE?
YOU WASTED PITT'S TIME AND HIS EFFORTS.
    THANKS,
    EMILY

Comment: I have a beautiful organ which belongs to my Mother who is now in a nursing home. It is valued at over $60K. It belongs in a church but I have no idea how to go about donating to a church hit by Katrina. Although my mother is a victim of dementia, I know she would be proud to know it was in a church. Thank you Brad for all you and your lovely companion are doing for the people of the world. ds

Comment: I hope to see less and less articles of supposed journalist Nicki Gostin in the future.
A commendable initiative from a movie star who may surely also look for additional spot light got lost in questions like "Are you handy with a hammer, or do you al??ways hit your thumb?" or "Do you still ride a motorcycle?". So why don't declare it right in the title changing it to "Waffling with Brad Pitt" and remove any artful reference to Katrina ?

Comment: I do think that the interviewer lost focus while talking to brad. However, poking fun at celebrities is what brings in the readers. I liked both the information about NOLA and when she was joking around with him, however, I wish the different comments were in two different articles.

Comment: the interviewer did lose focus a little bit, but what brings in the readers is poking fun at celebrities. I would have appreciated a little more information about the NOLA project, but I also enjoyed her comments towards him that were not serious. I would have liked them more if they were in another article that did not have such a serious focus.

Comment: What an insulting article -- to readers, to Brad Pitt, to NOLA residents who could have used some substantive coverage of why so little has been done in their city. Poorly done, Newsweek.

Comment: goodness, and asking if he wears a tool belt or if they're caroling on Christmas? in an article about building homes for people who lost them? who is this idiot who interviewed him? i thought newsweek was a legitimate publication not people magazine...

Comment: It's about time someone in the mainstream press took the self righteous arrogant putz to task. The ACOE doesn't wan anything built there yet.
Pitt said he would spend through Christmas there and he is in LA. All he did was show up for the Larry King show, and some photo Ops so he can be the NO savior. This guy is a grifter; pretty face engaging personality and the heat of a shark.

Comment: As a person who can trace origins in NO back to 1800, I am thrilled to see someone take this kind of interest in my city. I speakto people from all over the country regularly and most think NO is back to normal. Locals know that the government has pushed NO to the back of every pile of paperwork and what is being done is being done by locals any by folks like Mr. Pitt. I just want to say thank you.

Comment: I am shocked that Newsweek features such a superficial article. This reporter showed Mr. Pitt complete disrespect by probing into his personal life rather than allowing him to discuss his project.
