North Dakota has the higher population of sex offenders per capita, I don't think it's a bad idea to carry these like you'd carry jumper cables in your car, "just in case"

I think this is a good idea and as long as you use it responsibly ,as you would you any weapon, only in serious situations where you were in fear for your life. I don't think that the rest of the public should suffer by not having this technology available because we are afraid that some people would miss use it. I do agree there should be some type of training however to carry one. And people that misuse this technology should be prepared to pay the legal consequences.

Tasers in the hands of cops are already abused....let alone in the hands of the public. Yes, we have a right to defend ourselves but cops have already proven themselves to be taser happy.... The problem is is that everything and anything gets marketed these days without any concern. This is not well thought out ---- but then, what is anymore??

I don't even think that the police should carry these things because it seems as though they are taser happy. At least with a service revolver, cops know that they can't just pull the trigger....they have to have good reason to. So, if cops are already abusing tasers then what do you think the general public will do, confetti or not...

Tasers are just another means to protect ones self. This world is changing and it is up to individuals to start defending themselves as best as they can. Taser Int. Tasers in the wrong hands will be just like guns in the wrong hands. This is not a solution. At least states that licence law abiding citizens to carry guns make them take training and require them to have be licenced. These things are available for any moron to use.

This isn't a good idea. At my school last week a kid brought a gun to school and we don't want to give them any ideas.

We're not allowed to have them in NJ. Ironic, the highest murder and assault rates in the entire country and tasers and handguns are illegal to carry. When will the government of this state wake up and stop giving the thugs all the rights?

I'm all for them! If you weren't doing something wrong, you wouldn't have been zapped. Pure nonsense, suing the Taser company. I can't wait to get one. I am a stay at home mother with 3 small children. I feel like a sitting duck anytime I go somewhere. Now I feel like I have a fighting chance without worring that I'm going to shoot myself in the foot.
