wow..... the bigger question is this.... why would you personally have to worry about getting shot by eather. Why are you putting youself in the shoes of an attacker... ..

** To get a permit to carry a pistol, you must pass a CCW training class.

** You people think you can buy a tazer in a gum ball machine. every time a tazer is used a serial number is also dispersed on small pieces of paper. Which can be traced back to the owner.

** Law obiding citizen will not go thru all of the paperwork and trouble just to use this to commit a crime... A criminal will use some other form to scare someone into doing something they want. Stop thinking like *** moms and start thinking like criminals and you will address your concerns. I cant believe people such as yourselves are allowed to vote.

Guns cause crime like pencils cause misspelled words......... or spoons make Rossie fat.....

Tasers should not be in the hands of anyone. I feel that they are more harmful than weapons as you do not have to be close to the victim. At least with other weapons outside of guns you have to get pretty close. With the Taser one can hit you while you have your back turned etc. They are just plain inappropriate. A taser is somewhat silent and therefore very dangerous.

To someone that has never thought about their personal safety, or have always depened on police to protect them, tazers seem like a bad idea, To the uneducated it may seem like pink tazers promote viiolence? So what you are saying is.. Someone is attacking you or about to rape you.. you wont use a tazer (reguarless of color) because you dont want to promote violence, you much rather be a victim? It doenst glamorurize anything... it makes it easier for a husban to convince his stupid wife to protect herself. Its actually sad that the company has to make them pink just so a woman will carry one..

Given the choice between taking a bullet and getting "Tased", I'll take my chances with the Taser. In my opinion, any non-lethal option we can use to offer law enforcement and our citizens to protect themselves is a good thing. It's also going to be next to impossible to kill yourself with one, either accidently or intentionally.

I fully support the right to bear arms,... but where does one get training in the proper use of a defensive weapon? How do we the people ensure the proper use and by non-law enforcement trained personnel? I think it is extreme negligence to offer for sale a product without offering/demanding proper training in its use. As a retired cop I remember well the yearly classes in the proper use of force. Perhaps this sort of training should be required and also the requirement of license renewal only after proof of rep-training.

I feel that the Taser is a dangerous item for the public. They can be used for a robbery and other things. I understand that weapons of any nature is dangerous but at least with a gun or knife you have a chance to defend yourself. With the Taser someone doesn't have to get close to you to do harm. That is a big problem

Do we have the right to bear Taser's?Another dangerous item in the hands anyone.I can see the list of law suits now and Tom Smith's name will be at the top of the list as it should be.

Anything that makes people think twice about victimizing women is a good idea in my book. Besides, worst case scenario is someone innocent gets shocked once. My local sheriff's department requires all deputies get tazed before they are allowed to carry one. Can't do that much harm. Of course I carry a .357 ;)

Does the Constitution allow us to bear Tasers? This is not a good idea.I can see the law suits and Tom Smith's name will be at the top of the list as it should be.

I WANT ONE !!! (In every color)

I AM NOT QUITE SURE ABOUT THIS IDEA BECAUSE ALTHOUGH IT IS A GOOD WAY TO KEEP SAFE IT DOES FEEL LIKE THAT HAVING A TASER IN FEMMININE COULOURS IS GLAMOURISING VIOLENCE SO THIS IS A VERY DEBATABLE MATTER ALTHOUGH MY LAST WORD IS THAT BEING SAFE IS ALL THAT MATTERS NOT LOOKING GOOD WHY YOU DO IT!!!!
