Wow, this guy seems like quite the loony. Anyone who shows up to one of his presentations must have at least some interest in Christianity. Imagine what he'd do to a person of some other religion.

Speaking of which, I'm seeing a debate brewing over whether the founding fathers were Deists or Christians and Freedom of Religion vs Freedom from Religion. None of this is important. England was run by the church and the founding fathers wanted something different. So regardless of where they stood personally, they knew that the church had no business creating laws for the people.

This confirms my belief that this country is going more and more in a direction of "forced" Christianity. Our founding fathers believed ina SEPERATION. They were Deists and nowwhere do you find the word Jesus Christ. Maybe Fatica is doing good things, but I am soooo sick of having religion pushed in my face everywhere (and knowing how hypocritical many "so-called" Christians are: see Jerry Farewell, etc... You can preach hellstone and brimfire, then go and "sin", --then all you have to do is to repent and embrace Jesus and all is forgiven? Where are the consequences of their behaviour?)
Fatica is no different from the preachers who talk in mega churches and scare the be-jesus out of people - so he shouts a bit more aggressively - same difference.

First there is no forced christianty there is however forced athisium in this country. Half of our founding fathers were christian pastors not diest. The phrase SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE is not in the constitution it's from a letter writin by Thomas Jefferson to a group of Baptist Pastors and was ment the exact opposite as it is used today. The u.s. constitution does say FREEDOM OF RELIGION NOT freedom from religion. God our Father tells us right from wrong but does not strike us down if we do wrong, which is decided by him and not man. God loves us and wants the best for us, if you open your heart to him and ask him to show you his love and what his WORD truly says he will show you the truth. Most of what these TV preachors are theaching today is not what the bible teaches. You do not need men to teach you but God will if you ask him in truth.

First most of what is going on in most Churchs these days is not based on the bible and does not represents Christianty. Second that our founding fathers were Diests is not provable, it's based on the writings of someone who is trying to push their beliefs and not the writhings of our founding fathers. At least half of the Founding Fathers were Christian PASTORS not Diest. Third the u.s. constitution does not have the phrase Seperation of church and state, it is from a letter writin by Thomas Jefferson to a group of baptist preachers and was used with the exact opposite meaning than it's used today. The phrase is FREEDOM OF RELIGION not from religion. The atheist are the ones pushing their religion on the rest of the country not the christians. The poeple going to church and the Tough as nails program are not forcing their religion on anyone. As for true christianity right and wrong is for GOD to deside not man, God tells us what is right and wrong just like a good father tells his children not to do something because it's ot good for them or those around them. God is not the mean I'm going to strike you down God that a lot of people preach or the I'm going to give you everything you want god preached by TV preachers. He is a loving God who only wants the best for his children but also gives us a choice to do what he says or not. The punishment is what comes from our actions not at the hand of God. IF and I stress IF you open your mind and heart to him he will show you the truth of his love in his word and you will be able to understand it, you do not need some preacher to tell you what i means.

Seems to be a real dichotomy in the reports. Has the reporter attended the meetings, and followed up on the lives of the kids before and after, to see if there were benefits? Or just reacted to unorthodox words and activities, and what are the reporter's qualifications for understanding Christianity anyhow? True conversion, not lip service to a formal church?

I noted the exception taken by one to what the preacher compared hearing the Gospel and rejecting it. The Bible uses rather harsher words to those who know but reject. And anyhow, if you read, the preacher was not advocating doing Jesus the violence, just making a comparison. There is a lot of semantic difference.

And I have some fears when someone finds it necessary to resort to calling someone degrading names himself to claim someone he has not heard or seen is mentally deficient, etc.

Also. the argument about the founding fathers allegedly being all "deists" I belive to be wrong, but in any event, this is not germane to the issue, I do not think. The Constitution says the Government is not to make laws requiring a religion, or restricting the type of religion one may have. The folks on that side in this believe apparently the government should prohibit the exercise of one's personal religion. These people seem to want to say their non-religion is protected, but someone else's evangelistic faith is not to be, and neglecting to realize the Constitution says there were to be NO laws made for a state-run form of religion or a prohibition of a personal faith. The rabid anti-religion is just as unconstitutional when pushed on us and others as a forced faith is!

I'll keep this one short. It is extremely clear that Lorraine Ali did not do much research into this article. There is a solid amount of information that she has failed to mention which shows all the positives that have come from Justin and the Hard as Nails Ministry. I suggest watching the documentary.

Sir Francis Bacon, a scientist who lived about 400 years ago, cautioned us that if we believe in God, our beliefs should be worthy of God. In what way is anything that Justin Fatica says or does worthy of God - or worhty of Christ? His whole approach demeans the very Gospel of Love that that Christ taught.

Having been to multiple events led by Fatica, I find this review to be very inaccurate. I hope that people will seen the documentary for themselves, or better yet, meet Justin in person, before they make a judgment. I have witnessed first hand the effectiveness of Hard as Nails. He isn't for everyone...but I have seen Justin help kids make life changes for the good.
