I’m More Anti-Illegals!

The day I see an "American" willing to sell oranges in the corner, and pick strawberries and vegetables for minimum wage and wait in line outside a Home Depot hoping to get some work; that wil be the day I can say "illegals" are taking up an "Americans" job. Until then, be glad someone is willing to do work that you would never do.

With the economy slowing, it is a good time to close the border, and ramp workplace enforcement. I am sure that I will be called a racist, if I want all employees to have a VALID social security card, this can be done without racial profiling. This is a good time to enforce the law and provide jobs to Americans who want to work.

They have similarities, nevertheless. So Mitt needs to come straight and tell the people that he subscribes to a cult and not Christianity.

The core voters of the GOP want a Christian in office, so do a majority of Americans. With that in mind, Huckabee appears to be the best candidate. His experience as a Pastor and Governor by far qualify him to take the office running.

Why is Guilliani skipping Iowa and New Hampshire? Because he is a divider. He does not represent everyone. Guilliani would be one of the most divisive Presidents this country has ever seen. Please take off your dress and stop scaring people. Do you think Guilliani cares about you or does he care about his own self -interest. Guilliani is an Opportunist.

The republicans need to link illegals with farm subsidies. A large amount of the illegals come here to tend farms that would not exist if it wasn't for the ridiculous hand out to mega agro corp. Why pay $5 Billion is subsidies to produce $4 Billion is cotton? Kill the farm subsidies, kill the illegal's jobs. Also it would raise the value of those products so them illegal farmers can grow stuff like cotton in their own country and prosper. As an added bonus we all get cheaper clothes! Hundreds of millions win except, for a few agrocorps and landowners who lose.

The Republican bashing of illegal immigrants is an example of ???blaming the victim.??? When the Republicans have a fund-raising bash, who does the work? Do they hire Americans at a union wage, or do they hire ???illegals???? And whom does the Defense Department recruit to fight in Iraq? Need I answer either question?

If you read accounts of the harrowing voyages so-called ???illegals??? take to get here, as chronicled in the Los Angeles Times, you???d probably ask why? And that is the issue we need to address.

First of all we need to rewrite NAFTA and CAFTA. If American corporations were forced to pay decent wages in Mexico and Central America, fewer people would want to come here. We need to encourage workers south of the border to unionize and we need to eliminate all the restrictions the Bush Administration has placed on unions here. We need to stop supporting corrupt governments and rigged elections - particularly in Mexico. And we need to demand that Mexico clean up the hideous slums that cluster around the maquiladoras that line our borders.

We also need to encourage family planning. We simply aren???t able to support 15 billion people on the planet. I live in Los Angeles. We???re experiencing a drought stimulated by global warming; our current population growth rate is simply unsustainable.

These are just solutions to the problem of ???illegal immigration.??? It seems ironic that a party that pretends to be Christian has decided to resort of pandering by trashing both so-called ???illegals??? as well as Latinos. Christ himself told the unrighteous, ???I was a stranger and you did not bid me welcome.??? He also said ???Whatsoever you do unto the least of these my brethren, you do also unto me.??? I hope all the Republicans remember that although they may fool Laura Ingraham and the public, they cannot fool God.
