If people don't want to support Huckabee because of this one time incident then my guess is that they were never going to support Huckabee in the first place.

This story would raise my eyebrows only if this happened more than once...But, it didn't.

I guess this is a lesson of sometimes you can't control what your kids and a bitter employee do.

Family values huh? The whole family must be freaks.

It is not true that Huckabee tried to stop the consequences of his son's actions. There are different reports, so I guess you can choose who to believe. But I heard Huckabee answer questions by Larry King about this story, and he seemed sincere to me. He said the dog appeared near death, and though he did not give detaiIs, I suppose his son and the other youth thought they were "taking it out of its misery."

WHAT A BASTARD!!!! Huckabee is claiming to have all of these family values YET his son is torturing animals!!!! It is a known fact that any child or person who abuses animals have sociopathic personality traits and are not good people!!!! HUCKABEE and his son are obviously STUPID, CRUEL REDNECKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank You msnbc for poosting these cruelty to animals articles. You help to confirm my beliefs and give factual articles that fill in the blanks all the other stations leave out. I hope huckabee sinks and stays there for his comments about hunting and covering up his sons acts. I wish I could hunt people like them, I'd be so good at it
