A Son’s Past Deeds Come Back To Bite Huckabee

If a dog is suffering greatly you don't add to the suffereing by hanging it. Whey didn't they call the Humane Society to come and get the dog. Huckabee's covering it up shows how the son got that way in the first place. He should go back to preaching and get out of government. Let's see now, does his religion condone cruelty to animals? Hard to imagine he was ever a preacher.

From what I've heard and read, the dog was hung with a rope and then had its throat cut. Whether the dog was emaciated or not his act of animal cruelty was covered up by his father, who obstructed justice when he urged the local law enforcement officials to drop the investigation. You have a lot to answer for Mr. Huckabee and until you do I will never even consider voting for you and if you are elected I would be first in line advocating for your impeachment.

Even if that is a mug-shot he looks like an unlikable "kid'. Why wouldn't he have made it to Eagle Scout? Daddy-O was the Gov.! What a pile of krap. The fact that aniumal abuse is ony a misdemeanor in Arkaksas says alot about that state too - and the state of the state's awareness. So this "Eagle Scout" is a Veterinarain too and has the know-how to humanely put an animal out of misery. I doubt it. He's an animal abuser and a system abuser!

to voter5068 - The other kid's dad isn't running for a public service position...the highest one in out country. And, it has EVERYTHING to do with whether Huckabee is fit for office....not the crime so much as the abuse of power of his then position in order to cover it up. Being in public office doesn't make you above the law. But, what the heck, what's one more corrupt, liar in office? It seems to be the American (or at least Republican) way!!!

If this story has any ring of truth to it and this poor, mangy dog was tortured to death by David Huckabee, then shame on the family for trying to "make it go away" and the Boy Scouts for making him an Eagle Scout. David Huckabee should be prosecuted for this act and duly punished.

That story must make his father very proud. His father must have had some sense of pride because he mentioned his son made eagle scout (thank goodness I was worried if you might have tourtured a dog you wouldn't get it. Good informaiton to have) If you can be cruel to a helpless animal then you truly have no limits to the cruelty you'd do to others. And you are a worthless individual that should rot in the firey pits of the middle of the earth while dressed in saran wrap but that's just me. Maybe they can write parenting articles together?

That's one butt-ugly family too, by the way. I saw their Christmas card, and apparently Mike is the only one who's shed any of the lard. Hillary's brothers are pretty ugly too, but we've never had to look at them much.
