Also, the only formal education he has had is in Biblical Studies. I don't understand how that qualifies him to be president. I don't care how much he knows about Christianity. What does he know about foreign policy and government structure and finances and other things that are important for running a country? Also, running a country using religion may prove difficult because I'm not sure jesus has taken a clear position on issues such as imports from Asia.

These are disgusting human beings. I don't want a family that obviously enjoys the sport of killing in charge of my country. Mike Huckabee lists hunting as his number one hobby and has been quoted as saying that he loves the feeling of shooting an animal because he feels like angels are guiding the bullet into it. What a maniac. And if the god he believes in likes to kill things, I don't want him helping Mike Huckabee make decddecisions.

If Huck is so compassionate... why did he push to release a murder... who later killed again. What about compassion for the slain, the family, not to mention the society that has to live with 12 murders (including 1st degree!!) and 1000+ other criminals he let off the hook!

Though our system is not perfect, each individual must first be so suspicious that the police arrest him, followed by another test. Whether there is sufficient evidence to charge. Then finally the trial and conviction by a jury of the people!!(constitutionally required aspect of justice) This system allows all 3 branches of government to play a role in the conviction process.

You must be kidding about Romney right?? this is a nearly flawless individual, everything he has ever touched has turned to gold. He does not need to be president but he wants to make a difference. WE ARE LUCKY to have him. Unfortunatey the mainstream media wants to bring him down because he is one of the real conservatives in this race. Just look at the fruits of HIS labor...beautiful family, florishing business...the man is a success and he can make america a success. Look past your own jealousy and envy.

We all have been waiting for the powerful elite who are backing the dark candidates campaign to come up with something like this. You would be surprised what money will buy. Did you also know that Huckabee supports taxing the internet? Who would be hurt the most? Ebay? Well probably and maybe that is why Ebay CEO is pumping millions into Romney's campaign. Trust me when I say that there will be more of this kind of paid for garbage. Countrymen, this is a war, believe me. They do not want an honest man like Mike Huckabee in office. This Huckabee lie is far more understandable than most of the many lies he seems to tell nonstop without blushing or batting an eye. Even if its not the best thing for his son, he's trying to protect him.

But if PETA doesn't issue a statement condemning Huckabee for this there is something seriously wrong with that group.

Huckabee made a big thing about going hunting - he kills animals so why should it be any different for his disgusting son! What a family. Yeah, let;s try to push what your son did under the carpet. I just love it when the good Christians rave about killing fetuses and in the same sentence argue against health care for all the unwanted babies they produced - and piously talk about saving the poor of the world in dirty filthy places but object to doing the same when those people show up in this country. I am not a liberal. I am a person who has spent a lifetime cleaning up after the Huckabees of the world - pardon me if i can see through the BS. I say again, no one has the right to claim Huckabee is against animal testing unless they have a signed statement from HIM to that effect. The very idea that someone could believe such a thing is an insult to all intelligence.

Greenconsciousness: You also promote the DEMAND that ALL people are entitled to healthcare. Historically, people in America (immigrants of the past included) have always worked hard to pay for their home, food, clothing, and doctor bills. Nobody gave them those things for free. But now, we have all of these liberals who expect that everyone is entitled to everything without being a legal citizen who pays taxes and without working. Who is going to fund everyone's "right" to healthcare. How can any country pay for all of its people, illegal immigrants included, to have a free home, free food, free clothing, free medicine, free doctors, free hospitals? There are too many on welfare who could work but cheat the system and don't work or they work and hide their pay or send it back to Mexico so they don't have to contribute to taxes to help pay for anything? How can we hold it all up? Eventually those who are paying for everything, those whom the liberals villainize as "wealthy" people and "big business", will give up and stop working too. Who's going to pay for everything then? Unless someone has valid physicial problems that prohibit them from working, they should be expected to work to support their family in every way and to pay taxes to have the privilege of using our infrastructure, roads, schools, sanitation, sewage, electrical infrastructure, bridges,, etc. They shouldn't be allowed to get free everything including free college so they can be baby-making machines to get more welfare money. and send most of their under the table money to their "mother country". And they shouldn't be here burning our flag and putting America down and flying their other country's flag. If people don't love America, then get out and see how you like any other country. If they want to fly their Mexican or Cuban or other flag, leave and go back there. GO get free healthcare somewhere else like Canada where they die waiting. America has its problems, but it is the best place on earth. If you don't think so. Get out. And people shouldn't be able to eat like pigs eating chemical laden junk and sit in front of TV and worship Hollywood actors so that they never exercise, and then blame America's healthcare system and doctors because they get sick and have bad health problems. You have absolutely no right to make your outrageous comments unless you have a signed statement from Huckabee stating he opposes experiments on animals! And you don't because he doesn't.

The only reason Huckabee is speaking out for healthy lifestyles is because his buddies in the insurance industry want to raise premiums on the "unhealthy". He is bolstering his arguments against health care for the masses. He understands he will be asked why should he get health care while those who cannot afford insurance have to suffer without health care. So his answer is they should live in more healthful ways. We see his attitude toward animals in the story above. How he took care to bury his son's obvious cruelty. Where there is animal abuse there will be and has been cruelty toward children. It is hard to believe you are an environmentalist as you are totally oblivious to "The Links". I suggest you go to "The Latham Foundation's" website and read the connection to abuse of children who exhibit violence against animals. They grow up to batter women and children because that is how they were treated in their good Christian families and their pathology is covered up with "boys will be boys". Hunkabee also signed a religious covenant requiring women to be submissive to their husbands. Seriously, you do not speak for environments in any way and you are deluded about Hunkabee and his primitive beliefs.

If this is the first thing we're finding out about Huckabee's willingness to bend rules, I hate to guess how many more will be found. It's always a candidate's status as front-runner that convinces reporters that it's worth it to spend the time digging.

Also, although it's obviously wrong to have your state police force to sink an investigatory process, I wonder how often the Boy Scouts have gone and given an Eagle Scout badge to a 17-year-old who would torture an animal.

Mike Huckabee is the only presidential candidate that holds hope for us antivivisectionists in raising awareness of the barbaric practices of useless and unnecessary animal experimentation. Huckabee speaks out boldly the fact that we will never fix our healthcare system until we FIRST put our efforts into health and wellness and is ready to tackle the greed of the pharmaceutical empire.

I am an antivivisectionist and know that fraudulent and unnecessary animal experiments commissioned by the large pharmaceutical companies are their bread and butter, even when the results cannot be extrapolated to humans and thus not even hold up in court. And this Naked Empress pushes far too many drugs, rivaling only the dope pushers on the streets. The bible calls it pharmakia (Greek word) and it translates as "sorcery."

Then we have Mitt Romney is so out of touch that he proudly announced to the world at last night???s debate that he wholeheartedly supports the pharmaceutical empire. Bad move Romney.

For those of us in environmental and health and wellness movements, that's all we need to hear when choosing to cast our votes.

Huckabee's stand on health and wellness and getting himself well and curing his diabetes II through natural means by changing diet, eating habits, and exercise will really help cut down on the unnecessary use of drugging the sick who don't need drugs, but a complete overhaul of their living and eating habits. I understand some drugs are beneficial in certain illnesses, but the truth is these pharmaceutical companies push far too much dope.

Make no mistake about it, THIS speaks VOLUMES to us in the related environmental groups. But the only hurdle with that is most of us are democrats and therefore do not watch Republican debates. This is also why we are not hearing more on this issue at this time. The truth is the republicans have been absolutely horrible on environmental issues, and it wasn???t until Mike Huckabee came on the scene that really any of us ever got a glimpse of ANY presidential candidate speaking about such things. It is also what drew me originally to Mike Huckabee.

Sure there will be resistance by factions in opposition to hunting, but all and all we know the pharmaceutical empire is a far worse problem and therefore will compromise for the better of the good. We cannot tackle all the factions at one time, but to me, abolishing vivisection is the BEST PLACE TO START. The Dems have been promising and not delivering because they are not tackling the root cause: TRUE HEALTH. When we concentrate our efforts on true health vivisectionists will be out of business forever.
