4u2cme: DO you know what hear-say is??? According to your previous statement, no. Hear-say is when you pass second hand information, in that respect we all are talking hear-say. The problem is that in the article it stated that the allegations came from the prosecutor involved. That makes it first hand information that can be presented in a court of law.

So maybe you can come up with some positive facts instead of flapping your jaw. THAT is what's wrong with this country. Religious zealots putting their religiosity above what's best for their country. THAT'S why this country NEEDS the separation of church and state.

I think you can trust a few of the candidates and you should. But I wouldn't vote for Huckabee unless you want to bring his scary son into the spotlight. How great would that be for your republican party to have the son of the president flip out and do something horrible . . . and then have the president get impeached for trying to cover it up?

Good luck with the Huckabee family; they look like a classic example of too much money and power.

Huckabee is a silver tongued, preacher with an ego and self interests that tend to put him above the law. No room for the likes of him in the White House..Amen.

Here it comes, every little bit of dirt that can be dug up about Huckabee. A kind of nauseating isn't it. How about a report which states facts from when he was governor. Like" when he became governor he raised taxes and here is why says he did it"? Or "when he was governor work on education and he is how he did it". Sounds like alot of real investigative reporting. Sounds like a lot of work. Lets just sling mud instead. A whole lot easier and things facts don't get in the way.

So you don't want to know if your republican candidate is corrupt.

It seems that Huckabee feels that all of the laws do not apply to him. They do.
The Constitution calls for the separation of Church and State. Huckabee seems to feel that avowing his Christian beliefs gives a candidate a special spot on the ballot.

I believe that his guy has or will sell himself to the Christian right, with all of its phobias and special interests. He does not belong in the White House.

The CRIME IN QUESTION is whether Huckabee covered up for his son.

And wouldn't you know it, David Huckabee was also arrested for taking a handgun into an airport.

This is important because serial killers often torture animals in their youths. And, personally, I don't want someone as cruel as that living in the white house. Growing up in poor, rural Southeastern Ohio, I knew quite a lot of kids who did awful stuff like this. And some of them had rich parents who pulled strings to keep them out on the streets causing mayhem. I DO NOT WANT A FAMILY LIKE THAT LIVING IN THE WHITE HOUSE.

Conservatives gave Chelsea Clinton a hard time for no reason - I think this is worth looking into.

The ALDF? they rank right up there with the ACLU a bunch of looney secular progressives that took something which they knew no facts about and incited peoples passions to further their agenda. Do you think the State police political appointee would say anything nice given the fact he would be canned anyway given the incoming Rep. get a life people All you secular progressives read between the lines.

Can anybody come up with positive facts instead of flapping their jaws on hear say ! Thats whats wrong with this country now.

  • Posted By: Apollyon @ 12/16/2007 4:33:14 AM

4u2cme??? So we should look to the future and not be bothered that Mr. Huckabee may have broken innumerable laws by tryying to not only interfere with a possible investigation, but also exacted revenge against against a prosecutor for not following his unethical direction. I'll bet you're OK with Bush using the AG's office as a political arm of the Administration. I just hope all you fools are OK with having indepth investigations directed squarely towards Bush and Co. when another year passes. He won't be able to stonewall then. And remember, rarely is it the crime, but the cover-up.

Instead of flapping jaws about the past, of a man you did not turn his back on his son . You should get a grip. Look at the future and deal with getting this country back on its feet.

You are talking about a different personall together , not the one running for office. Get a life.If everybodys family was perfect, this country would not be in the shape it is in. It has to start somewhere, not who is related to the person who is running for office but the one person who can make a difference. C. Morgan

A good many politicians are two faced: Strike One! The vast majority of Republicans are greedy, corporate whores: Strike Two! And although I know many good religious people, but the overwhelming majority would love to impose their beliefs on others if they could. Strike Three!!! Huckabee is outta there!!!!!!!!!

Childhood torture of animals is a red flag indicator of sociopathy in adults. David Huckabee exhibited extremely flawed judgement and extremely cruel behavior.
Mike Huckabee's inappropriate and probably illegal interventions on behalf of his son are quite revealing. He seems to be another "do as I say, not as I do" politician in the mode of George Bush.
