A Son’s Past Deeds Come Back To Bite Huckabee

Childhood cruelty to animals is a red flag indicator of potential sociopathy in adulthood. Yes...Sociopathy as in David, the budding sociopath. This young man either had deeply flawed judgement or a deeply flawed character or both.
Mike Huckabee's inappropriate and probably illegal interventions in this case (and others) makes me
think that he is just another "do as I say, not as I do" politician who uses his Christianity as a cover.

Can we then say that the heightened scrutiny of Obama, as he becomes the main contender for the Democratic nomination, is a sign of a conservative media bias, racism, or the fact that anyone who becomes significant is exposed to heightened criticism and scrutiny? Yeah, it must be the media bias that keeps painting the republicans in a bad light..not the sex scandals, political ineptitude in handling the lead up to a war, the politically motivated firings of U.S. attorneys, both the guilty verdict against Scooter Libby and his following pardon, and so on...

The point all of those defending Mike Huckabee patently ignore is not the fact that his son did or didn't do something, it is the fact that he did or didn't: attempt to cover it up; brought pressure to bear on police officials to aid in the cover up; took retribution on those that refused to cooperate in the cover up; and then/now lied about it. Mike Huckabee might be an individual I would like as a friend, but do I want a President who believes in "intelligent design" and refuses legitimate scientific theory, opting instead for fairy tales, at a time when scientific knowledge is so important to mankind's survival and we are falling behind the rest of the world in educating scientists and engineers and mathematicians and doctors, as well as in most other diciplines necessary to a well-ordered society. The doctrinaire evangelicals seem to be our equivalent of the Ludites and want no more on no less than the Taliban tried to impose ... a single-minded, retrograde, theocracy ... of course their "religion" to the exclusion of all disparate beliefs.

What kind of person thinks that it is compassionate or kind to HANG a dog for a skin condition? What a backward country dumb****. If this is the kind of children Huckabee has raised, he has no place as my president. As far as I'm concerned it's his son that needs to be hung...out to dry in jail. He's a great serial killer in training in my opinion

If I was running for president my record wouldn't be so bad, but there is always something we forget. But my children another story. all have jobs, none in jail none on welfare, but not picture perfect.But if I had ever thought one woudl run for president I would have locked them up until old enough to run and they could never marry and have children until after 2 terms.Mike Huckabee gives the most sensible answers of anyone running. You know if I was running for President my record would not be so bad. But whoa on me if my children were brought up. And at the rate we are going and the way ouryouth and adults are today will there be anyone left to run for president 20 years from now. Yet my childrne have jobs none are in jail or on welfare, but thye have made some mistakes.If i was ever to want a child of mine to run for offfice I would lock them up until old enough and they could not marry until after 2 terms were up. If we let this stop America from voting for a man that gives the most senseable answers of the group then we deserve what we get. To bad we don't get this excited over the killing of babies. This proves that Huckabee is a perfect Republican. They're all for law and order until they have to abide by the law.

Dear Heavens! I can't imagine what would happen if I were held accountable for every stupid decision that one of my children made. Get real, people! Slam Huckabee if you wish, but make sure that it is HIS actions that are questioned. So far, he's looking great in my eyes. But then, I'd vote for ANYONE other than Hillary!

In Los Angeles CA., if a minor kills someone it is taboo to even discuss the information and media refrains from televising the murders.

While past president candidates have had their records sealed. It appears that Huckabee is honest and up front. This situation seems to be a low desperate attempt by politicians, who have big money, to slander a fathers love and devotion for his son. This fatherly love seems to be something that has been missing in our leadership for many years.

While Arkansas should have the highest tax rate in the country it is one of the lowest taxed states. I will compare my property tax with any individual in any state.

I think that it is sinister for other presidential candidates, who covertly conceal their real motives and past, to speak out the sides of their mouth and say there are plenty of real reasons this good man should be excluded from the position of President.

The only real reason that this good man should run for president is because the other wealthy lackeys give absolutely no choice to the American People for leadership. Huckabee, wasn't on the board of Wall-mart as one of the other candidates was.

If you vote against international corporate candidates, that are giving away US jobs, you will find there is no choice.
