Right now, apart from the presidential race, Huckabee is running a race with Romney on who is the best flip-flopping, evasive twister-of-reality. Both are getting respectable challenges from all the other candidates (except Representatives Paul and Kucinich, whose records actually match their platforms).

Huckabee is in bed with the special interests. The pharmaceutical industry, along with all the other special interests, would buy him off with a gift from his registry that he would make upon moving into the White House. The reason the media bashes him is because he has provided a lot of ammunition.

We were also very hungry that summer in camp. David led the charge to feed the famished children by providing much needed food in the form of a tasty dog.

IF that was indeed a picture of him at age 17, then I really would not call him a "kid"! Also, I am sick to death of having criminal acts justified because someone is a teenager. Right now there are 18-19 year old "teenagers" fighting and dying in Iraq and Afghanistan. Wake up people, anyone over the age of six should be able to tell right from wrong and torture from mercy!

Pharmaceutical companies have been trying to get vitamins considered medicine under the guise that vitamins can hurt us and need to be regulated. Do you see what is happening? We won't even be able to buy vitamins without perscriptions. Pharmeceutical corps. make up a huge industry providing millions of advertizing dollars to who? Mass media - they all advertize medicines from cold remedies to viagra. And that's just vitamins. Do these agencies that want your money to fight cancer etc. really want cancer to be cured? THINK. These are multi million dollar businesses. Non profit businesses can make profits as long as they put it back into the companies, by giving their own CEO's six figure salaries and perks. Demand accountibility. Notice how they find drugs to help fight cancer but never a cure? In general, our liberties are being taken away from us. Get some perspective and start questioning mass media. Or else someday, in the not too distant future, we may not be able to question it at all. Mike Huckabee has some new ideas and some sensible ideas about business and our tax system. If we don't start opting for a man who wants to change things and isn't in bed with the powers that be, then all we are going to get is the same old thing. We are at war with people who want to convert this nation for Islam. They have attacked our Nation once on our own soil. Terrorist groups, dependence on foriegn oil helping to fund the attack on America. Millions of lives are at stake; our freedom our economy with the kind of leader we will be electing in '08. If you don't checkout the facts, then you are choosing to remain ignorant. Would it hurt to elect a man who knows how to stay faithful to his wife and faithful to his ideals. One who cares about us? Regarding the poor dog condemned because he had mange. IT'S A TREATABLE CONDITION! i once rescued two stray (abandoned?) beagles with mange so bad they hardly had any hair at all. (Yes, dogs have hair; cats have fur.) Weeks of daily baths and treatment and they were healthly and beautiful. Found them a good home (as I already had dogs -- who, by the way, did not contract mange from being around these dogs. The dog was obviously friendly ("climbing into bunks") and deserved better treatment from so-called humans. As one poster said, it's highly unlikely that this was a solitary event in this young man's life. And if his father didn't recognize the horror of it, he doesn't deserve to be dogcatcher (Oops!), much less President.

I think it's important to keep in mind that this guy could be lying through his teeth to get back at the guy who cost him his good job. I don't know that that's the case, but he was appointed by a Democrat, suggesting that he may be a Dem as well. He could just be saying this to smear Huckabee's campaign--you never know what motivations this guy might have besides letting the public know the true evil nature of this seemingly likable man. It's important to keep an open (suspicious, even) mind in regards to everybody involved. Don't just accept one side of the story as fact.

I think it's important to note that this is just the one side of the story--the guy could be lying through his teeth just to smear Huckabee's campaign. He was appointed by a Democrat, perhaps indicating that he's a Dem, too. If that's the case, I doubt he would have any qualms about trashing the guy who fired him and the guy who might be the Republican candidate at the same time. I'm not saying that's necessarily the case, but it's important to have an open (even suspicous) mind of everybody involved, not just Huckabee.

Why do we even THINK about electing people like the Huckabee's to public office. He and his son are just 'little man Vicks.' Throw the bums out! These poeple who can commit such cruel crimes against animals and think it's okay because their kids...they need some upbringing and upbraiding...they need to go to jail. But they certainly don't need to be elected to public office.

This is important because it reveals Huckabee used his position as governor in attempt to shield his son from the law and even FIRED someone for choosing not to be complicit in falsely exonerating his son. We don't need another wanton hypocrite who feels entitled to play God! Get with it!!!

That dog was filled with the power of Satan. David took a stand, stood up to that omnipotent dog and slew that evil beast. The children all rejoiced as we all were finally freed from the vicious canine's reign of terror. All of us present joyously attempted to hoist the Mighty David upon our shoulders (though we buckled and ultimately failed under his extreme weight). We could only explain our inability to lift him on the fact that he was filled with the Lord (however, ex post, his grossly obese figure would explain a lot).
This would not be the last time David saved his fellow man from the grip of terror. I'll never forget the time in the airport when Radical Islamists were planning to hijack our airplane. David had received a message from the Lord (or maybe God told his father, who relayed the message, I can't remember the exact details; nevertheless though) that Muslims were going to commandeer our aircraft and crash the plane into the Statue of LIberty (because they hate us for our freedom). David heroically concealed a handgun within his luggage knowing that it would be discovered by security (but nevertheless valiantly put himself in that precarious position anyway). When our diligent TSA workers discovered the firearm, the Muslims were terrified of David's brashness and knew that God was not on their side, calling off their terrorist plan as a result. These are but two examples of when David saved my life...
I still pray before I go to bed every night, thanking God for giving us the Huckabees...true American heroes. God Bless You...Everyone one of you
