Romney on Huckabee II

Wow! As my mom used to say, it seems Romney LIES like a rug.

Romney is first a busnessman. He was the man at the 2002 Olympics. He made his millions by turning around failing businesses. That is exactly what is needed in this country. His answer in the debate that there are around 15 federal programs for reducing teen pregnancies, and he would take that number down to the 3 or 4 that are the best, is exactly what we need. We need to get rid of the dead wood. Throw out the people making money off failing programs. The federal government is way too large. Time to get a businessman in charge, not a lifelong politician who only wants more money. Sound familiar, Bush, Clinton, and the Harry Reid's of the world. I am a lifelong Republican, and I'm 100% behind Romney.

The very evangelicals whom Rush, Coulter, Hannity, Hugh Hewitt, Krauthamer, and Lowry, make fun of will NOT bail the GOP out like we did with Bush/Kerry election. Romney was able to trick a few of them, but the majority of us see right through him; we see Romney as the EQUAL of evil as Hillary and we WILL stay home or do a write-in for Huckabee. And don't count on the disenfranchised Republicans(Ron Paul supporters) to help bail out the GOP either, word out is they will vote for Ron Paul as a write-in, rather than vote for Romney.

I'd like to hear the GOP VIP elites explain how their candidate Romney will win without the Huck supporters and the Ron Paul supporters?

If even half of us do write-ins or stay home the GOP won't' win and it's as simple as that.

And all the members of Hewitt's GOP VIP list will be kneeling in disgrace at Hillary's coronation!

Among all the negative stuff I've seen permeating the Internet, based upon hot air, I'm very happy to see some straight talk. Thank you Newsweek for publishing this story. My wife and I had already had the impression that Romney would say anything to get elected. Anything.

Twenty million dollars in research has been done to ensure that the Fair Tax plan will work and work well. What has Dr. Ron Paul got to show us? What are we supposed to do with the gold standard? Are we all supposed to walk around with gold dust in our pockets? .
Rich people don't bother me. Rich people keep the economy going. And as far as them paying less than 1% income tax under the Fair Tax Plan, how much income tax are they paying now? Rich people consume and spend more, they provide more jobs and economic growth. I don't have a problem with rich people. But I sure as heck would rather be a little less poor. As far as I see it, my little corner of the World will seem a whole lot nicer with less taxes coming out of my paycheck and a government prebate check coming to my mailbox every month. No, rich people are not our enemy, but the unscrupulous lobbyists are who take advantage of over 65,000 pages of tax code are. And as a bonus to retirees, under the Fair Tax plan, they can take advantage of a TAX HOLIDAY and withdrawl money from their 401K's WITHOUT PAYING TAX ON THE MONEY.

Romney does remind me of Nixon also. No moral compass. He was a good governor, I'll give him that. But he only served one term and doesn't have all that much to brag about. But to distort Huckabee's record is unforgivable. Huckabee served for over 10 years in office. In Arkansas, every prisoner can request clemency, so Huckabee had over 8,000 to read and he read each one and only granted clemency to 10% of them if I remember correctly. Huckabee DOES have a moral compass and great ideas as well. Don't fall for Mitt's Slick wording. His ads run as false as his word.

Romney is a Nixon clone. He and Nixon share the sexual faithfulness to their respective wives, but lack intellectual honesty. I am deeply concerned with the negative and distorted direction of the Romney campaign. I am hoping that Romney will apologize for his distortions about others and campaign on HIS own merits. Thank you Newsweek for pointing out Romney's spin.

This just goes to show you how deceptive and misleading Romney can be. Think about it. Romney is focused more on Huckabee than on his own campaign. What does that say about Huckabee's leadership skills when even his opponents are focused on him.
