Comment: The Fascist wing of the American political system. once again, wants to cut the economic throats of working class families. The USA has lost over 3,000,000 high-paying manufacturing jobs since 01-20-2001. They are now working for 'fast food' service wages. Do you think they can now buy new cars, new homes, meet all their bills, send their children to college or pay the same amount of taxes they were paying before. Give $$10,000,000,000

Comment: Bush is so stupid and his stupidity is causing a lot of trouble in the world. Why is Bush so adamant to confront Russia? What is he trying to prove? Let's face the fact that Bush is a lame duck and the US is also facing the same end, all because of his stupidity. Come on Americans wake up and confront Bush before it is too late.

Comment: Our allies in Europe should be leery of Bushs??? proposals because not only has he proven totally shortsighted but incompetent as well. After squandering America???s resources, including taking over the country seven years ago with a huge surplus and creating not only a mammoth deficit but also destroying the economy to the extent that the dollar is now worth but a fraction of what it was then, and with Wall Street in tatters and making our country available to the highest bidders from overseas, he is really interested in his legacy whatever it may cost.
Unfortunately he has still a few months in power during which he can generate a lot of misery for the country. Inasmuch as there are too many republicans to be able to impeach him and his side kick Cheney, he should be encouraged to spend the rest of his mandate at his ranch relaxing and getting ready to confront the legal matters that will confront him when the democrats that succeed him take him to task for his attempts at subverting the Constitution. Hopefully all the Presidents men that have prostituted the jobs that they were hired for, replacing true professionals, are taken to task. Perhaps the Justice Department won???t be large enough for what may appear to be such a gargantuan task.

Comment: The trouble with anything Bush says or purposes is that his definitions are all screwed towards one polarity. To him a robust economy, a successful economy is when the wealthy are experiencing an abundance and regarding when times are tough or the economy is challenging, in his thinking it just means the wealthy have to sit tight and wait it out. Never is there consideration of the middle class or the poor on whose backs it all transpires. Anyone who thinks ours is a trickle-down economy they are wrong. What goes to the wealthy, for the largest part stays with the wealthy. Instead it is a bubble-up economy and when the poor and middle-class have it, they spend it and everyone benefits. It is time for Washington to consider the poor and middle class first. George W. Bush has never done that!

Comment: Ridiculous! All Pres. Bush did was acknowledge that a male and female are running. Period.

Comment: Bush is a very successful business man and has munipulated the laws to favor his business practices. Not only has he had law makers support his business model he actualy has set himself up quite well when he leaves office. He has also purchased property (house) in Paraquay a counrty where known world criminals live/hide out a country with no extradition agreement with the United States. I would say he is a whole lot smarter than you are told to believe.

    Comment: Nice spin lol

If Bush would not have included the 'or her' then he would be the sexist. Since he did include it "Bush kinda gives Clinton a chance to win"

Comment: War ends We win: when we pass a law that makes the minimum price of gasoline at the pumps: $1.75/gallon; billion dollar/million barrel per day ethanol stills can not be built without protection from OPEC monopoly pricing rusting out our new stills: OPEC could lower gasoline back to 80 cents per gallon to put the ethanol stills out of business so $1.75 per gallon will break the OPEC monopoly and bring the free market back to the fuel for cars market .

The ethanol investors do not build ethanol distilleries because monopoly OPEC would lower the price to rust out their billion dollar million barrel a day ethanol still. Brazil is energy independent: ethanol; All their cars come built running on ethanol; Archer Daniel Midland made millions on $1.00 gallon ethanol in the 1990s; that trumps any canard/invalid objection to ethanol. Use Cellulose ethanol, not corn ethanol.

With all the cars running on USA produced ethanol; the price of oil will collapse and the Moslem hordes will no longer have the funds we used to give them from gasoline sales to finance the war against us. Soon the world will care as much about the Arabian sand as they do Rwanda. The USA would have balanced the trade deficit and achieved full employment.

Dollars to Arabs for oil, then the weapons manufactures take most of the dollars from Arabs for weapons; KGB and intelligence services then engage in manipulating ethnic masses. The KGB is the marketing team for the Commuless Moscow Weapons Company,,,see KGB handbook on manipulating ethnic masses by Getzel. The old KGB: Kick up trouble, Go sell weapons , Be in a nice long war; sell lots of weapons...You finance the war against The West every day at the gasoline pump.

Arabs and Persian Sharia people are at war with The West because Arabs and Persian Sharia people believe Islam can not survive against a free market, free speech to criticize Islam, representative Republic. Yes, Arabs and Persian Sharia people believe Islam is doomed to the trash heap unless freedom to criticize Islam and democracy are eliminated. That is why they send suicide murderers and attack the West. Propaganda, the big lie???

Arab, if only Israel???is only an excuse, propaganda, for Islamic terror; as we see that wherever the Mohammedans bump against another culture the Mohammedans say the same thing they say about Israel. In India: same thing???in Kosovo: same thing???In Israel: same thing. In Darfor: same thing. In Thailand: same thing, the Philipines: same thing. Wherever the Moslems are contiguous with another people: The Moslems say the same thing they say about Israel: If only???Sharia???and no freedom of speech to criticize Islam. Comment: Bush/Rice (Google: supertanker Rice) for a picture of her oil supertanker; renamed when she went in politics) support creating a terror state on the West Bank and Gaza and are trying to get a terror state in Pakistan and Iraq and elsewhere. Clinton succeeded in creating a terrorist Islamic state in Kosovo, where it did not previously exist: as a State.
It is not in the USA interest to create an Islamic terror state on the West Bank and in Gaza or anywhere else.
Israel/Arab (you call palesteinians) is only an excuse for Islamic terror; as we see that wherever the Mohammedans bump against another culture the Mohammedans say the same thing they say about Israel. In India: same thing???in Kosovo: same thing???In Israel:same thing. In Darfor: same thing. In Thailand: same thing??? Wherever the Moslems are contiguous with another people: The Moslems say the same thing they say about Israel.

The Mohammedans only view lets sit down and talk as a sign of weakness and an indication Moslems should attack. Intelligence analyst: getzel

Comment: GEORGE W BUSH IS ONE OF OUR COUNTRY'S FINEST PRESIDENTS.
Has he made mistakes? Definitely. What president hasn't?
Did he lie to us? Many accuse him of such treason, but have no grounds for such accusations. It's interesting that we are even considering two such bashers for our next president.
Has he allowed the media to run him into the ground? Absolutely. He seems completely undeterred by his personal image.
Does he have the courage to do what he believes to be right in spite of the uninformed popular opinion? Most definitely.
Did he turn our economy around in record time from the recession after 9/11. Yes he did.
Following that recovery, did we have several years of plenty. You can't dispute that(unless your living in a bubble.)
What other president managed to oversee such a robust economic turnaround during a time of war? There have been none other.
Did he cause the economic slump we are currently experiencing? Absolutely not. American greed run out of control is the cause.
This man has been given the short end of the stick by the liberals, and the media has driven Americans to believe it. It's high time George W. Bush be given the credit he deserves.

Comment: War has always been a temporary stimulus for the economy. This time it was a boom for Haliburton, Black Water (previously near bankruptcy), the wealthy 1 % of this nation. Who has tax cuts during a war?? Only those who want to milk the country's coffers for their own benefit.

whala: Recession is his, bungled war is his, housing crises is his, great divider is his; and that brought us PINKObumer the bullshivic: workers united for HOPE & CHANGE. Most of the rest of world hates Bush, The currency is in free fall, oil over $100/bbl. I think whala eats stupid pills.

Comment: Bush is an idiot. A month ago he said about the econmy he saw "storm clouds" Who is he , The Indian from F Troop ?

Comment: Given this administration's record of fear creation and mongering to keep the sheeple in line, it amazes me that Bush would come out now and deny that we're headed into recession. I would think that if he were keeping with the Rove-Cheney Doctrine, he'd be trying to scare the hell out of us with the possibility of recession, telling us that only Republicans know how to protect us from it, of course via unwarranted access to our bank accounts.

Comment: Bush broke the law by spying without warrants and he convinced all the telecoms but Qwest (which was punished by Bush) that it was ok to help him. So he wants the law changed - retroactively to make these violations go away and enable him to keep doing it. Our House of Representatives, for the first time is standing up to our thug in chief. Please hang in there Congress, help is on the way (Obama and lots more progressive Democrats). Then we can deal with Bush the way America is meant to deal with these situations - put Bush and his collaborators on trial for war crimes.

  • Posted By: elfriede1 @ 02/23/2008 11:16:42 AM

Comment: I am hopeful that the White House will keep its stance and not give way to the fear mongering from Bush. This White House keeps generating the fear factor. I can still remember a few years ago prior to the attack on Iraq how this President continuously scared the hell out of its citizens with the threat of the wmd's and the mushroom clouds that would envelope us all, and so on. It is time for him and his administration to step down. Too bad that he and his partner Cheney couldn't be impeached. Thats the problem. Too many Republicans with their narrow perspectives.

  • Posted By: elfriede1 @ 02/16/2008 3:01:32 PM

Comment: It is time that we turn the page on fear mongering. This president and his republican entourage have had a hold on the public and won't let go. The blackmail will continue and hopefully we may be seeing a Congress which is finally saying "enough is enough" and lets move ahead.
