I think there is a most impolite word that could be applied to Cheney's assertion. Otherwise, we can just assume it is more of his same effort to turn the presidency into a dictatorship. He is like a kid standing in defiance of authority saying, "Catch me if you can, nyah, nyah." Smirking as he sees no one can stop him. Sadly, he has won. We see the results of his thinking and manipulation in all aspects of our nation. Aren't we all pleased with all he has done for us.

This evil man has set the most dangerous precedents concerning executive level power in the history of thsi country. Unless the checks and balances are reset between the executive, legislative and judicial branches, we run the risk of a future president seizing even more power than this administration has done. A frightening prospect, indeed. This man and his administration, including the president, Aare NOT above the law and they should be tried in a court of law for their crimes.

Cheney has effectively shown what can happen when an elected official ignores what is good for the country and instead pursues his own questionable agenda. The balance of power MUST be restored and accountability must be had or the precedent here will present a clear danger in the future. This man should be tried like any other citizen for his crimes to send a message to fuure leaders that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated!
