Okay why should anyone out there care what an"A", "B", or a "Z" lister says about or endorses anyone? I personally care more to ask my neighbor or the person who sits next to me at work their opinion. Why? Well DUH ! they have the same concerns I do! Yes we care about the world at large and our role in it, but our main concern is living, raising our children, affording health care, our retirements etc. and who we "underline we" think will be the best person for the job.

Except that the latest polls have Paul tied for 3rd in Iowa (with Giuliani, McCain, and Thompson) behind Romney and Huckabee. In NH he's also tied for 3rd (with Giuliani, Huckabee, and Thompson) behind Romney and McCain. If he can pull off a 3rd place finish in either state (much less both), there are going to be a lot of pundits and bloggers eating crow.

Ron Who? Lets get serious and get down to the "real" candidates. Oh yeah! Do we have any real candidates? Maybe the Iowans will help us out.

Are you afraid to post something about Ron Paul who was endorsed by the owner of the Bunny Ranch, Barry Goldwater Jr., Don Black of Stormfront and others?

Kucinich was also endorsed by Sean Penn. They left that out of the article. Surprised? I'm not. The media would like for Kucinich to not exist. :-(

Most of the sane people in the United States would love Kucinich not to exist.

The Truth is any of the Democratic candidates would be better than any of the same old selfish, hypocritical biggotted repubniks that are running

Au Jun, we may be able to forget that Obama is black and even ignore the whole muslim issue, but we cannot ignore the fact that he is one term senator with very little leadership experience. America needs proven leaders, not leaders wannabee!

    • Posted By: BryanDB @ 12/29/2007 7:09:17 PM

There is no Muslim Issue regarding Obama. Only the right wing repbniks who try and make and issue where there is none

If someone in the public arena endorses a candidate or side of an issue, and I know and respect that someone, I will take a harder look at the candidate or issue, but no celebrity endorsement will make my mind up for me A good example of this is, not listed by Newsweek/MSNBC, is singer/songwriter Jackson Browne's endorsement of John Edwards. On the flip side, a disliked/disrespected celebrity's endorsement can be very negative, such as the brainless Anne Coulter's endorsement of Mitt Romney.

Why would we need to forget that Senator Obama is black and why would we need to ignore his ethnicity? It sounds like the issue with Obama isn't lack of experience, it's his skin color and ethnicity. Au Jun is correct, we need to elect a leader based on good judgment and wise decisions. It is clear that Obama makes the right call at the right time. Let us recall that experience led us to war (Cheney, Rumsfeld). We need the right kind of experience and a new way of thinking in the oval office.

Although tthey are saying Obama is lacking in experience, so far he has been right on Iraq- he opposed it from the start. Right on Iran- refusing to label the revolutionary gaurds as a terrorist organization, hankering for war against Iran like Hillary. He has been validated by our reports on Iran. On Afghanistan / Pakistan, he has said, thats where the real problem exist and that where we should be fighting the real war on terrorism. This was just validated by what Al queda just did in Pakistan.

I supported Bill Clinton, however it was Bill Clinton who made that deal to sell our ports to that Dubai organization. Yet, Hillary living in the same house claimed she had no knowledge of the fact. It was Bill who
gave us Nafta , yets she claims she is against it. Was she a part of his team or not. Frankly, trust is important
I think like Bush, the Clintons are all about amassing more personal assets , than moving America forward

John Edwards will be a great President!!

    • Posted By: Au Jun @ 12/28/2007 4:45:56 PM

If people forfget race, then Obama is the right man for the job. Better yet, if people remember he is 1/2 white and 1/2 black forgetting peoples defintion of who is black and white, he represents both worlds to bring us together. How can I supoort Edwards who obviously has changed his politics, like Romney to win all votes
