    Recent headline: "McCain Acknowledges Global Warming and Urges Nuclear Power to Combat it."

    I am SO GLAD that John McCain has acknowledged the reality of global warming. However, his supposition that nuclear power is "clean energy" is absurd.

    Clean energy doesn't leave behind deadly radioactive rods to be disposed of. Clean energy isn't subject to nuclear fallout, meltdowns and explosions. Clean energy doesn't cause birth defects and cancer. Clean energy can't be subverted into nuclear weapons of mass destruction.

    Effective clean energy technologies created to date are solar, wind, hydroelectric and hydrogen fuel cells. Ethanol is not clean energy, as it takes immense amounts of energy to create fuel this way, and the big corporate farmers pollute with excessive chemical fertilizers and pesticides. However, it can help us transition our economy away from oil dependency and as such it is an excellent stop gap, especially if we use cellulose ethanol rather than corn based ethanol.

    McCain is woefully uninformed about the realities of our energy problems and their potential solutions. McCain is woefully uninformed about the economy, and still hasn't come up with any plans for combatting the recession, paying down the national debt, and restoring lost jobs. McCain is woefully misguided about the war, and wants to pursue a hawkish military policy even though the vast majority of Americans are against this.

    I respect McCain and the sacrifices he has made for our country. But right now, we need someone ready to roll up their sleeves and work on our current problems. Someone who can make America stronger before we go down the tubes with our oil dependency, our failure to recognize the shifting global economy, and our blatantly wrong-headed foreign policy. McCain is not that man. I'm a Republican and I'm voting for Obama.

    The DNC's strategy for McCain is very weak. Acknowledge his valid position as an American Hero, but trying to sell him as George Bush III, and as old, feeble, and unreliable. If that's all they got, Sen. McCain is in pretty good shape.

    The American Hero status is HUGE. That is exactly what and who he is. His opponent is a dual-citizen, foreign childhood, muslim heritage, terrorist befriending, Jr Senator. American Hero vs Islamic Sympathizer...hmm...tough choice.

    Turning him into 4 more years of Bush, will not work either. His own party stays angry at him for not being far-right enough for their taste. He very nearly was John Kerry's running mate. His closest political partner is Joe Lieberman. He is actually a Reagan Democrat with a Republican name tag. That helps a lot in Arizona politics. So the GW tag will not stick. At least not firmly.

    The old and feeble tag is funny. I'll take him in a wrestling match with that silly little sissy any day. He is tireless, comes from good genes(look at his mom), endured years of torture, that have given him an internal steel that few humans ever obtain. This will not require selling to America. It will be made self evident. He will choose a running mate that America will agree is a fine choice.

    Then there is the war in Iraq. America while tired of the war in Iraq, will be shown progress and a clear plan to both a military and political victory. And while, you deep-eye, and all the Emporer Soros Clan, want to see America admit defeat, in Iraq, the proud citizens of America want to win. America loves a winner John McCain will deliver one. Sen Hussein wants defeat. He wants to negotiate with snakes. Remember Chamberlain's treaty with Adolph??? Thank God for Churchhill.

    Hussein Obama is weak. He is inexperienced. He shuns patriotic imagery. He hobnobs with haters of America. He befriends admitted terrorists. His name is Hussein. He is most likely a follower of Islam himself. Much more evidence indicates he is, rather than not. He absolutely lived as a mohammed for a number of years in his childhood. There are other character questions that have not even been explored. The Republicans will make certain they are. Lots more. Basically, the Tower of Babel has found a way to turn a certain victory, into certain defeat.

    McCain will win 35-40 states. It will be Dukakis all over again. And HolyRoller is very rarely wrong.

There are libel and defamation laws that should be easy to enforce, if these claims were all lies. The Senator is a lawyer isn't he.

To give it merit, after investigating the players involved, is a blind (and desperate) attempt to assassinate Obama's character. Sinclair has failed two polygraphs, and continues to fabricate "new details" as time passes.

        According to Whitehouse.com: "Dr. Ed Gelb, Former President of the American Polygraph Association was the Polygraph expert selected by Whitehouse.com. He has done over 30,000 polygraph examinations over his long career. There were two polygraph tests administered by Dr. Gelb on Friday. The first polygraph asked Mr. Sinclair on his sex claims. The second polygraph test asked Mr. Sinclair on the drug use claims. There was deception indicated in both tests."

        And w/ all due respect, WHO CARES how many blog hits he's getting? Only a delusioned few believe there's any meat (no pun intended) to this story. It's obviously not affecting his candidacy. And please, don't say it's b/c it's not in the MSM. A huge portion of his core voters are college students and "elite" white folks, who ALL have access to the internet.

        This is just another failed scandal that will soon be crossed off the list. Even the "Sean Hannity-types" in the world of "talking heads" refuse to dignify this story. NEXT!!!!!

I chose not to although I did get pressure. However I did what was right in my heart. I have a beautiful daughter today and life has a funny ways of making things right. After 35 years I am now dating the man whom I fell in love with and had this child. We were young and life took us in different directions. Somehow we found our way back.
      It is a moral decision.

    Comment: Why doesn't McCain talk about the time he called his wife the "C" word in that airport in Arizona? As a woman, I would feel disenfranchised by having a president who feels he can refer to women by THAT part of their anatomy. It is an odious word. He is an odious man. Why is Newsweek keeping that one under wraps? Why don't you stop pandering to the republicans and TELL THE TRUTH about McCain. His temper outbursts are marked by attempts at getting physical with colleagues who disagree with him. Who needs this? Can you imagine what he'll do to diplomacy? Newsweek does the American people a disservice by only telling half-truths. You paint a false picture of a man with mental problems. Do you really think that you are being responsible?
