I cant believe that you blame America for the caos in the Middle East. How stupid. The Middle East has been in caos for as long as I can remember. Greedy self rightous men who kill people under the cowardly cloak of religion. How many of those Iraqis killed each day were killed by suicide bombers? I don't believe that America should be in the Middle East, let them keep fighting them selves til they no longer exsist. Problem solved. Look at any religion nowhere does it say that murder of anyone is ok.

It is too early to make any conclusion. However we will never know who did it and whatever findings by the Pakistani authorities are sure to be tainted by those who have the influence. At this juncture the only rational thinking is "to open all possibilities" of the role by Musharraf, Pakistan Military, Nawaz Shariff, insurgents, tribal groups, al Qaeda, CIA, the US and even India. All of them are suspects - because everyone has the motive and the capability to execute the carnage . So I think it is unwise, premature and rather stupid of anyone and even the so-called analyst to stereotyping every incident to al Qeada. For Newsweek to purposely print the headline in bold letters is putting its marred integrity into further question.

it is not fair to charge Bin Laden or Musharff without clear evidence because Bhutto had several enimies inside and outside Pakistan. Moreover, if Bhutto was a representative of American point of view, I think Mushraff is too. However, I can accuse America of all the chaos in the middle east area because there is a clear evidence which is the death of over 20 Iraqs per day and the exessive numder of prisoners in Guatonamo as well as the scandelous Abu Greb

Ask who stands to gain from a politically driven assassination two weeks before the Pakistan election and one week before the Iowa caucus. The news media used a lot of the same temperate phrases about Al Qaeda, when in fact it's Musharaff who stands to gain, and Republicans like Giuliani, who play Fear Factor so beautifully.

No one person can bring change, it takes a movement. Bhutto's death could have started this movement. Or it could of ended a movement. Only time will tell. This was prophesized that a woman leader would be assassinated and that it would impact the whole globe. Everyone thought it was a possible referal to an American president. Who thought it would have been Bhutto. THe extremist movement still has uncontrolled grudges against the Clinton's. Hillary Clinton could fuel the extremist cause. This extremist movement views "things" different. I felt bad when I heard the news partly because Bhutto was a women. To us it is an unspeakable crime but to others who belong to powerful extermist movements it is "nothing". These people do not care. We need Obama as president in order to fuel the peace process. Our best chance at peace and security is OBAMA. We need someone who's chief policy makers believe in the movement for peace and prospeity for all. One who understands that our troops are dying and that this issue is more important than their own personal political careers. After the assassination of JFK and Martin Luther KIng, the civil rights MOVEMENT succeeded under the Jonhnson administration in having civil rights legislation passed into law. It was a MOVEMENT that could not be stopped. Bin Laden is a god to extremist, he is their BHUTTO, extremist have no problems committting atrocities. In fact it is their dream, it is their end goal in life. This is why we cannot let these extremist continue to multiply. Obama is our best chance. He is also intelligent enough to know Russia and it's breakaway republics in Central Asia as well as the technological advancement of CHina and it blatent theft of intellectual property is a threat that needs to be dealt with.

I feel Musharaf was behind the first attempt at her life and still feel he was capable and
successful this time. Our government encouraged Ms. Bhutto to return thinking Musharaf
would fold to pressure...just another miscalculation by our government. Never corner

Unfortunately, MSNBC's Scarborough took the opportunity to use the assassination to help Giuliani's sagging poll numbers; moreover, to attack Obama's presumed lack of experience. What experience does Giuliani have in foreign affairs? RG is the rightist candidate of choice. It is obvious that musharraf has made a deal with al qeada/,. The suspicion has been that he knew osama was in pakistan. He has allowed this to hold on to power. Osam is smart. Imagine this. Musharaf plot the hit with or without the help of Al Qaeda then go behind Al Qaeda get some leaders kill in a crossfire and became hero for US, for the Bhutto faction while eliminate in one blow the opposition gaining great popularity and more stability in the country. Compiracy theory,maybe,but looks like a win win situation for him. .

Isn't the most "convenient" answre to point the finger at Al-Qaeda??? Though the reasonings seem to make sense...but just seems like ..when all else fails...blame Al-Qaeda! I guess we will all know better in afew days...right now things are in an upheavel and uproar. I hope ms.Bhutto and her family get justice. No one deserves to die like that. I may not have agreed with her politics. But she was educated woman who knew how to speak eloquently and how to use the media to her advantage. She gave the Pakistani woman a face, an identity...and you have to respect her for that.
