Can Musharraf Survive?

Like I have posted several times before , the three main causes of war are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. How many Wiccans or Satanists have ever started a war? That's what happens when you believe in a god or gods. Read your history; when you strip away all the politics, economics, etc. you will find that countries go to war with each other to settle the question of whose god is more powerful, ours or theirs? It's another good reason why all religions, including patriotism needs to be abolished.

Once again, The Law of Unintended Consequences has caught up with our hapless president. The Bushies
have only been able to deceive Americans. The rest of The World sees The Bushies as they are. Here is a handpicked Bushie that was willing to cede much of Pakistan's sovereignty to a foreign military power. It may have been just a Pakistani Patriot who put a stop to The Bushies wild dreams of empire and conquest.

At this stage it is clear that the US is desparate to replace Musharraf with its other deputies(Note that the US brokered the return of both Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Shariff) . Musharraf will either be executed or forced to exile either in Saudi Arabia or Britain. The next person that the US will put in power will obviously be Nawaz Shariff but just for temporary - the next obedient US dog will be the present Military Chief whatisname who is being groomed by the US.

What the US really want to achieve in Pakistan is really to ensure that the $7.4billion Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline will never materialise. The pipeline is crucial to the US sanction against Iran- there should be no hole in the sanction bucket. The insurgents (rag tag group) and nuclear arsenal ( individual components have been dismantled and kept at long distances and heavily guarded) in Pakistan are just smoke screens.

Connect the dots and the picture will be clear!

As long as the corrupt Bush administration is in power to prop up his corrupt government Musharaff will survive.

I think Musharraf era is ended and now this point must be realized by the Americans and the West. Don't try to impose him on a nation which is a nuclear state and such impositions may result a very dangerous situation for the Americans and the whole West.

I think Musharraf will survive. Pakistanis respect him and his leadership which is based on a broad based national policy which does not allow anyone to compromise on the sovereignty of Pakistan. It is unfortunate that he has been denigrated in the media for his actions in 2007.

If we take a holistic approach to his leadership, I think he has done far good than Bhutto and Sharif did when they were at the helm. He has been constantly mocked for imposing restrictions on the media which was obsessed with showing gory images of suicide blasts in the country. On the other hand, it is because of his liberal policies that enable Pakistanis to enjoy the gamut of 70 Television channels, of which more than half are independent news channels.

It is Musharraf who dropped the corruption charges against Bhutto and Zardari. It was for this reason Bhutto returned to Pakistan and to insinuate that Musharraf ordered her killing is absurd. It was Musharraf who passed a reconciliation ordinance that granted these two looters of national treasury amnesty. I think if Zardari wants justice with regards to who killed Bhutto, then Pakistanis are also entitled to demand Justice with regards to the embezzlements of billions from the Ex Prime Minister Bhutto and her "Mr. Ten Percent."

Musharraf will survive...he is the only sane person there. Mr Ten Percent and "Hair Transplanted Sharif" are bunch of crooks and thugs. One of them just appointed a bored looking teenager as chairman and other spent 8years in Saudi Harem. Go figure!

People, People, People. Please show respect towards each other. Judaism, Christianity and Islam are three Abrahemic religions and have a lot in common including respect for other religions. True believers respect each other and avoid degradation of other people. Let us join minds and hands to make this world a better place.

This occasion is too precious to waste on polemics as demonstrated by an overzealous poster here. The time is to raise probing questions. As early as 19th July a Peoples' Party camp set to welcome Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry to the District Courts in Islamabad was ripped off by a blast. Pakistan's Interior Ministry pointed fingers to Baitullah Mehsud. The culprits remained still at large till 130 persons died on 18 October blast in Karachi. If elements like Meshud were on the radar for so long why the agencies failed to prevent such a tragedy. It is a case of criminal negligence short of complicity.

The inquistion, the crusades, the 30 year war of europe, the world wars, the wars in Korea, vietnam, IindoChina, the exploitation of Latin America, complete extermination of poppulation of Hawai, Haiti, Australia was not carried out by the Muslims, nor were Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin and people like them were Muslims.

Christianity may not have a chapter on Jihad, but the history of Chritianity is full of intimidation, exploitation, subjugation , humilitation , colonisalism and annihilation of the weeker folks.

The " Ayattolah" has used this doctrine on Salman Rushdie who is an INDIAN. The only way to deal with a nuclear threat, is in private. We should gurantee all countries FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS. However if the people choose an extremist government that wants to use weapons of mass destruction then they must understand the consequences. IT IS THESE SAME CONSEQUENCES THAT have DETERed RUSSIA FROM USING THEIR NUCLEAR ARSERNAL AS MUSCLE. WE WILL Annihlate YOU if you threaten with nuclear weapons. That is why the Middle East Governments threaten Israel because they know better. The same goes for pakistan, any government that takes power after Free and Fair Elections, will be delivered the same message, In addition, they will assist us in the HUNT FOR BIN LADEN.
