What judgmental anuses. You guys/girls should be disgraced. Just how well do you actually know Patti Davis? Not at all I would bet.

If anybody has a problem with "virility" I suspect it is Ron Jr.! What disgraces those two kids are. The best one is Michael Reagan, who was adopted.

While Patti Davis may have a point about today's candidates, it is clear to anyone who lived through the Reagan era and saw how the President and Mrs. Reagan were treated by their daughter, that Patti Davis had only a passing acquaintance with her father. Her phony and tardy "protection" of her father's legacy and name is laughable.

Patti Davis is a non entity who traded on herf father's fame to promote her own "career". What does she do now anyway? Is she going to show up in Playboy again? The woman is a disgrace to her family. Always ways - and still is. Her brother Ron Jr. is a total nut job.

I can't believe that Newsweek is NOT #1. How can that be? What about the negative catagory? IS there a negetive catagory? You know, who's the best at the doom and gloom stories. Who can spin the polls the most unfavorably. Who can take huge job numbers and SIGNIFICANT reductions in violence in Iraq and explain to all of us dummies how these are BAD things. So, what kind of story do we get about the relationship between a daughter and her deceased Dad? We get a pile of CRAP. We get an anti republican hit piece. I mean, where did they even find her, these days. Was she posing naked for old bag magazine, in one last ditch effort to poke her finger in Nancys' eye? Her crocodile tears are just that, phony. Just like her, and just like the "jounalism at Newsweek. Tell Isikoff that i"ll be sure to catch his next riveting column, the next time I'm in the doctors' office waiting room.

She has not gained any class since the days when she went out of her way to embarass her mother and father . Get back to re-hab .

You are so right - this lady is clueless and classless. I suspect she is going to pose for Playboy again. She has shown total disrespect and disregard for her family, especially her father, and on the whole was an embarrassment while her father was president. Her brother is another crackpot. I suspect that Patty is a PETA person. She needs her feathered friends to cover her after she poses for Playboy. It gets cold when you are naked!

Patti Davis is an untalented actress who has been married several times and was disrespectful of her parents while they were in office. I would take anything the lady says with a ton of salt! She is an OLD HIPPIE who posed nude for Playboy to embarrass her family. Her father was a wonderful man - sadly the daughter isn't from what I have seen. She probably is against hunting because she is a PETA person.

Glad you came forward with this piece. You are right, stop using your father's name. They need their own identity.....problem is, maybe they don't have one. Glad you commented. Yiour opinion counts exactly the same as the nest person..... Thanks.

You know, for a woman who is famous only because of her father and for posing in Playboy (very nice, I will say), she ought to just simply up. She contributes nothing to the dialogue with this moronic "opinion" piece.

I don't believe the candidates are trying to imitate former President Ronald Reagan. It sounds to me like they're trying to say they will govern the way the former President did...with honesty and integrity, with "We The People..." and our country always uppermost in his mind, Patti. BTW, seems a bit late to be defending your him.

Way to go Patty. I think we are all sick of those who strut and pretend they are the authentic replicas of the past. They remind me of those life sized cardboard cutouts with whom we all like our pictures taken. Sound bites and posturing is out. Let us have a leader who is as courageous as the Bhuttos Kennedys and yes, especially in the later years when he knew he was ill, Ronald Reagan.

Regardless of any other of Patti Davis' attributes, hurrah for this sentiment. The candidates, excepting perhaps Ron Paul, are prostitutes trying to find out what role-playing their customers prefer. Their pimps however, the Dimocrap and Repuignicunt parties, will take the money (power, money, whatever) up front though. Thank you very much. We'll all see what kind of chameleons they really turn out to be.

Ms Davis objects to Republicans invoking her father's name as if he were a private citizen and his name in some sort of proprietary trust. I wonder if the Kennedy's object when Democrats invoke John Kennedy? No, she researched that and found they never, ever do that.

  • Posted By: Raging Moonbat @ 12/30/2007 10:52:52 AM

Reagan's dead, Bush sucks, Republicans are obsolete.

  • Posted By: tmelton44 @ 12/30/2007 10:50:39 AM

my youngest daughter's middle name is reagan..after ms davis' father..so i normally don't agree with ms. davis...
she is right on the money with this one...

  • Posted By: HymieDelWeen @ 12/30/2007 10:47:33 AM

Hmmm, I read comments that Ms. Davis treated her father poorly etc. Maybe so but that doesn't make what she says about todays candidates any less true,

  • Posted By: ill_eagle @ 12/30/2007 10:31:30 AM

OH PLEASE!! Ms Davis treated her father poorly from the time he was Govener and all throughout his Presidency. She was against everything he stood for and NOW she supposedly cares about his NAME. I am not buying into this malarky patty dear. Your father was a great man and It is wonderful that any candidate would want to model their presidency after his.
