Well, well, well, so now Ms. DAVIS is all concerned about the Reagan name - not enough, of course, to carry the name herself. Wouldn't want a moniker that invokes such ideals as strength of character, freedom fighter, conservative and good American, through and through. That's just too 'square', as we baby-boomers used to say; not hip and hollywood enough for Ms. DAVIS.
Guess what Ms. DAVIS, you rejected your father and all that he stood for when he was alive, so now just sink back down into the plush, comfortable life that your father, President Ronald REAGAN, so generously provided for you, and leave the real world to those of us that honor and respect who your father was and what he did to preserve and protect his beloved AMERICA - the AMERICA we live in today.
I'm not sure why Ms. Davis is surprised, or why it has taken her this long to complain. In the 19 years since President Reagan left office, there has been a substantial portion of the Republican party, Republican think tanks, etc. that have attempted to canonize him. After Clinton defeated Bush in the 1992 election, every election since then has featured various Republican candidates making the same claims as they are in this election cycle. In a way, this is to be expected; after all, Reagan was president during a period of rebirth in the Republican party.

I find it interesting that, in an article denouncing the appropriation of someone else's name, Ms. Davis couldn't even spell Lloyd Bentsen's name correctly. What's worse, I would expect the an editor or fact checker to catch this mistake.
i believe mrs davis has it right.i only knew her father on the "silver screen" but i do believe he was honest in everything he did and tried his best to govern for the good of all the people in the US. i'm a canadian of some years of age and see the same current hypocrasy in our government so people of the US disregard all the BS abd ballyhoo and put some one with a brain into your capital.J ruttan an observer from the north
sANDY, EDWARDS IS DESpERATE. thIS MAN FOLLOWED JOHN KERRY. HE WILL DO AND SAY ANYTHING. EVEN IF HE MEANS IT NOW IT IS TOO LATE. OBAMA AND CLINTON ARE TOO SMART, THEY KNOW THAT WHAT YOU SAY TODAY COULD FINISH YOU TOMORROW. ONLY A CANDIDATE WITH NOTHING TO LOSE WILL SAY WHAT EDWARDS IS SAYING. WHAT HAS HE DONE. BE HONEST. HILLARY IS pROUD THAT SHE WENT AGIANST HER pRINCIpLES TO GIVE BUSH A BLANK CHECK. WHY. IT WAS GOOD FOR WESTERN NEW YORK. HILLARY IS NOT STUpID IF THE WAR HAD NEGATIVE ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES IN BUFFALO, SHE WOULD HAVE VOTED AGAINST IT. TRANSpARENCY SOMETHING NIETHER pARTY WANTS. NO ONE LIKE GETTING CAUGHT WITH THEIR pANTS DOWN AND THEN LECTURED ABOUT JUDGEMENT CALLS
Good for you Patti.
I don't see why hunting and religion has to do with running for president, but Mike Hukabee said something on C-Span today that really resonates to me about the candidates, He said 'If a man can look you in the eye and lie to you, he can lie to you when he is president'.
I don't know about all this hunting and religeous stuff, but Mike Huckabee made a remark today on C-Span; 'If a man can look you in the eye and lie to you he will lie to you when he is president'
This is true and now I have changed the way I look at Mitt Romney's message, and I have changed my mind toward him.
