    Huckabee's attacks on Romney's religion are what's happening. No one can attack anothers religion and come out smelling like a rose.

    comment: I wish Huckabee would have released a counter ad to Romney's negative ad. I do think Romney will be hurt by the negative campaigning. However, it would have been nice to see Huckabee defend himself against the exaggerated claims against him. Huckabee needs to relize it's gonna get tough and he's got to respond like a strong leader not like a preacher.

        Huckabee hasn't shown anything except how to attack Mormons. He need to focus on Romney's record, but the problem is Romney's record is much stronger on conservative issues than is Huckabees record. He spends like a liberal, or Bush. Romney is a businessman first and foremost. He made is 100's of millions by turning around failing companies. Man, does the US of A need that.

    I'm glad you all have these phenomenal opinions about Gov. Huckabee, but if you stop calling him all the names in your vocabulary, you might see that he is actually genuine and authentic.. Do some research yourselves, and you'll find that he's NOT liberal on any of the issues, but he's also not mean and angry, the way you seem to be angry at him. Stop believing all the MSM, and look into his record yourself. You will find that he did a whole lot more for Arkansas than Romney ever did for Massachusetts. His vertical politics and his integrity show him to be apart from the rascals of politics.

    In The world of politics I see Many use any thing they can to get in power...But to use what has been given to a man to lead .as his position of what he will do when he gets in power makes more sense to me...Victory , love and A sound Mind...Sounds like A good candidate to me...

He has been playing them like a piano.     I'm really tired of the excuses being made for Huckabee. He doesn't have enough money to compete, people have attacked him so harshly (the attacks are on simmer - if he can't take the heat maybe he'd better get out of the kitchen). If he can't afford to run or isn't prepared to run, then why is he running?

    Taking into consideration the choices offered by the Republicans, Mike Huckabee is by far the most likeable, and as Bill Clinton proved that wins elections without having the experience. Following the embarrassment of 8 years of George Bush, the Republican party will require a leader that the people of this country will not just like, but also support. The Democrats are riding the edge by offering candidates of differences. A woman, a black, a neutral, and soon to be announced a Jewish mayor from New York. The people need to get behind the candidates that can win. Right now that's Huckabee or McCain. Candidates` for the people, not just the party.

      The differences between Huckabee and"Clinton are many and varied, but the main thing is that Mike Huckabee is an embarrassment to all Republicans everywhere. He's such a schmaltzy sleaze...he makes my skin crawl. REminds me of Jim Nabors....."Gomer says hey".....

    I was a Huckabee supporter, but I have lost respect since he has resorted to denigrating Mitt Romneys religion. He tries to be subtle, but his comments and the push polling of his team are as subtle as a brick through a plate glass window. His actions are not American or Christian. I am from Iowa, but live in florida now. I believe a lot of Iowans are starting to see him as I do.

    I was a Huckabee supporter until he showed his religious bigotry against Mitt Romney. His comments and push polling by his supporters is about a subtle as a brick through a plate glass window. His willingness to denigrate another candidate using religion as a weapon is neither American or Christian. I lost my respect for him. PS. I was born in Iowa and live in Florida. I think a lot of Iowans are agreeing with me latery.

    I agree. It is a pity the Republican party is now defined as the conservative religious evangelical (read holy roller) party. However, this is the brand recognition the candidates chose embrace. I was a Rockefeller Reagan republican. I can no longer relate or associate with a party that is marketing politics and religion in a very hypocritical way.
