CAMPAIGN 2008

What If She Loses?

Hillary Clinton's advisers worry that a poor Iowa finish could hurt the candidate's once-commanding nationwide lead.

Comment: ANOTHER PHOTO OF OBAMA IN MUSLIM GARB WITH MUSLIMS
Remember he went to Kenya to campaign for Odinga for the presidency.. Odinga lost and went on a murderous rampage. Odinga had a pact with the Muslims to force Islam on the country. Google 'Obama is my cousin".

LOOK AT THIS SYMBOL OF THE 'OBAMA YOUTH' GROUP! It is clearly patterned on the Muslim half moon and stars symbol.

Comment: Look up Obama's ties to Kenya terrorist. Google, 'I'm Barack Obama's cousin says Raila Odinga'. This article tells how Obama has been supporting Odinga. Odinga promised the radical Islamics that if they helped him get elected, he would make the country Islamic.
Obama said in 'Audacity of Hope" that he would "stand by the Muslims"- and so he is.
Odinga, it is reported, set fire to a Christian church with 50 people inside.

Barack Hussein Obama is the closest Democrats can come to electing a foreign Muslim President of the United States without actually violating the constitutional requirement that American Presidents be native-born.

Comment: Great emotional moment for Hillary, with war almost breaking out in Iran, just yesterday when Iranian boats attacked us warships, that just reminds us we need strong leader like hillaRY.If obama gets nomination which I seriously doubt,I will vote for huckabee or mmccain, I feel hillaryis stronger than huckabee on military and is almost equal to mccain.I am liberal on domestic issues but a little conservative on national defense. The jewish and hispanic vote will overhemlinly go for hillary in newyork,,calif and florida among democratic primary voters. If obama gets nominee gets nominee I will vote for mccainin heart beat, but it is not going to happen you see me being form claif, and v oters in newyork and florida are much more educted, and vote with their brains not with their hearts, unlike those dome hick from iowa and new hamphire, have many friend that have alrezdy voted absentee for hillary in calif. were she has 35 point lead so its over for barack.Happy newy year everybody.

Comment: WE ALREAY KNOW OBAMA IS GOING TO WIN THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION. NEW HAMpSHIRE HAS MANY YOUNG COLLEGE GRADUATES AND INDEpENDENTS. THIS IS OBAMA'S BASE, AND HE IS GOING TO WIN BY A LARGE MARGIN THERE. THIS IS NOT pROpAGANDA, THIS IS A MOVEMENT FOR REAL CHANGE AND NOTHING CAN STOp IT. THIS WAVE IS GOING TO RISE HIGHER AFTER EVERY STATE.

EDWARDS MIGHT COME IN SECOND IN NEW HAMpSHIRE, NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THAT.WHY/ THE ESTABLISHED MEDIA, IE. MSNBC IS BACKING HILLARY. THERE ARE pEOpLE WITHIN THE HILLARY CAMp WHO REFUSE TO ACCEpT THE NEW pOLITICS OF CHANGE. ALL MY ANALYSIS HAVE BEEN DEAD ON. MY COMMENTS ARE SO ACCURATE THAT pEOpLE ACTUALLY THINK I WORK FOR ONE OF THE CAMpAIGNS. WHEN pEOpLE ARE DEFEATED, LIKE THE HILLARY CAMp, THEY BECOME BITTER AND DESpERATE AND REACT LIKE TOM. WITH A LOT OF ANGER AND DENIAL. IT IS THEIR WAY OF TAKING BACK CONTROL FROM A SUpERIOR CAMpAIGN. HILLARY UNDERESTIMATED YOUNG pEOpLE IN THIS COUNTRY, MAYBE SHE THOUGHT THIS GROUp WAS 'NAIVE" AND COULD NOT SEE THROUGH HER SCRIpTED CAMpAIGN. HOpEFULLY THE HILLARY CAMp WILL LEARN FROM pEOpLE LIKE TOM, YOU LOOK DUMB WHEN YOU REACT NEGATIVE AND BEGIN TO LIE. WHAT A pOLITICAL FAN LIKE ME WILL BE LOOKING AT IN NEW HAMpSHIRE IS THE BATTLE BETWEEN OBAMA AND McCAIN FOR THE INDEpENENT VOTERS. THIS WILL BE A GOOD INDICATOR TO SEE HOW STRONG OBAMA IS NATIONALLY.
LET'S LOOK AHEAD TO THE pRESEDENTIAL ELECTION. OBAMA VS ?. THIS IS WHERE THE ANN COULTIER'S AND THE RUSH LIMBALLS WILL BEGIN THEIR MADNESS. BOTH ANN COULTIER AND RUSH LIMBALLS HAVE BEEN ADDICTED TO pAIN KILLERS. THAT IS WHY, AT TIMES, THEY SOUND LIKE TOM OR LIKE SOME CRACK HEAD FROM THE "HOOD'. THEY GO ON THESE TIRADES WHICH SEND A MESSAGE OF HATE AND RACISM. THE ONLY WAY THE REpEBULICANS CAN WIN IS TOO LIE THEY DO NOT HAVE A REALISTIC CHANCE OF WINNING THE pRESIDENCY. pEOpLE WANT CHANGE.

Comment: Hillary Clinton needs to get Albright out of sight. It looks silly to say you want change and then have Albright over your shoulder. Also, you have one week. YOu have no chance until FEBRuary FIFTH. SO start talking their talk from now.

You tried to hard in Iowa. You were reactionary. Forget want these nerds are telling you and just tell us what you can do. Those are your strengths Hillary you strong heart, determination. However, your ego has left you in an embarassing situation, again. THis is not good. Your advisor's will tell you to play the race card. Hey it got O.J. OFF.

However in this case you need courage, you need to show your courage. What are you going to do tomorrow. Talking about yesteryear will get you third place everytime. Talk about yourself and all the qualities you possess, forget about what you opponents are doing and concentrate on the people. As you can see the media will turn on you in a second. Good luck.Edwards just takes too many votes away from Hillary and vice versa. Obama won by one per cent in Iowa among democrats. This is a very significant statistic because OBAMA has tapped into a new base which Hillary and Edwards are strangers too. Their experience actually works against them, especially their voting record. New Hampshire is the land of independents and will go OBAMA's way. Hillary needs to start preparing for New York and California. If she loses either one she has no chance. Even the stars of today are with the OBAMA movement. She has lost the women vote, so she needs to focus on the minority vote ie. immigration and a plan for the poor. Everyone knows she is strong on Health Care, so she should emphasize other NEW ISSUES. AN issue that would inspire the middle class.. A middle class plan that spromises a bright future. No one wants to here what she has done they want to hear what she is going to do. Going negative has distracted her from her..

The war on Iraq really hurts Hillary. She needs to be specific on that issue. What will she do and why can she do it faster than any other candidate. These are the types of things OBAma has already been talking about but it is a broad range of topics. Hillary needs to look presedential. She needs to hold fewer events with larger crowds. Waves. A small wave can turn into a big wave in a hurry.

Comment: Obama's disdain for the white race:

From 'The Audacity Of Hope', "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."
(Well, you've TOLD us, Obama. Now we know.)

From Dreams of My Father, " I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASISVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST MY MOTHER'S RACE".

      From 'Dreams of My Father',
"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites"

From 'Dreams', "never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela."
(NICE PHILOSOPHY FOR A PRESIDENT OF ALL THE PEOPLE, BLACK AND WHITE, HUH?)

      From 'Dreams',
"There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs," he wrote. "It remained necessary to prove which side you were on,to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names"
(REALLY, OBAMA? LOYALTY TO THE BLACK MASSES??? WHAT ABOUT THE WHITE MASSES??)

From 'Dreams', "I had grown accustomed, everywhere, to suspicions between the races."
(REALLY OBAMA? SUSPICIONS BETWEEN THE RACES??)

From 'Dreams of my Father', "The emotion between the races could never be pure, even love was tarnished by the desire to find in the other some element that was missing in ourselves. Whether we sought out our demons or salvation, the other race would always remain just that: menacing, alien, and apart."
(REALLY OBAMA- THE OTHER RACE IS MENACING ALIEN AND APART????
WHAT KIND OF FEELING IS THAT FOR A PRESIDENT TO FEEL? BET WE CAN GUESS WHO YOU WOULD CATER TO).

From 'Dreams', "There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white." This was a statement made about one of his bosses.
('AND WHITE'? GOT SOMETHING AGAINST THE WHITE RACE, OBAMA??)

Obama and Edwards are backed by real people, not invisible Republican PR voices that want to run against Hillary. The people have woken up and it is time to throw the bums out.

Comment: Remember when Jesse the "Body" Ventura won in Minnesota. I think that is the first time that the media realized that voter's have a mind of their own. What people do not understand is that Obama represents a movement. They like him. Voters like Regan, they did not care about what the media said, they just liked the man. Obama has something the other politicians do not have. And it is that something that will bring victory to Obama. political pundits with their phd's don't get it. If Americans do not like you, they are not going to vote for you. Although a lot of people like Clinton many other do not , for reasons that i think are frivilous. However these are the facts. Did Regan have more experience than Carter in the eighties. No. Regan just had a likeability factor that is beyond an analyst's realm. You either have it or you don't. Obama has it

Comment: PoliticalAnalyst Good Analysis, makes sense, however Obama will be the democratic nominee and the next president. All recent polls show that Obama would defeat Guilliani fifty one percent to forty three percent. After Iowa and New Hampshire people will begin to realize how strong the movement behind OBAMA really is. people want peace not war. They know that these problems abroad have to be solved. Obama is in the best position to succeed. The outcome in Iowa will be Obama thrity six per cent , Hillary thirty two percent , Edwards twenty eight percent and the other four percent will be split among the rest of the candidates. What is your prediction political analyst. We will see who is right.

Comment: I really am tired of reading peoples comments about the lack of experience of Obama's and surplus experience of Clinton. If you wanna vote for experience, vote for McCain. I'm not even a republican but this is ridiculous. It is insane to believe the Clinton has ANY more experience creating policy and leading. SHE DID NOT DO THAT, as first lady, that was Bill's job. As far as duties that are even remotely similar to a presidential seat, look at her time as a senator in NYC, when you address it as such, the divide between the outspoken "experience" of Clinton and Obama dwindles to nearly zero.

While Hillary is no worse than the average, the idea that she can get a world leader to back off or else is absurd and childish. It's as if presidential PMS were a future virtue? Putin and Hu will have her for lunch

Let us not forget that this woman could not get her husband to keep his fly closed for fifteen minutes even if it meant making her and this country a mockery! She blinked or looked the other way through more dalliances than I care to recall, all the while insisting it was a right wing conspiracy. She will be overrun and over ruled by Bill as she has been for decades.

If a presidents wife where to whore around one tenth as much as Bill did, and that president where to fail to remove her from the position as first lady, the American people would have his head, yet this woman wants us to make Bill Clinton the first "First Gentleman"

What a joke! If she had dumped him I might vote for her, but her actions have proven her a sheep in shrews clothing.

Comment: The 2008 Presidential Election is one that we Dems cannot afford to loose. That being the case, we need a nominee who will eventually win. With Hillary, we know what we will be getting. She is the sure choice. We cannot risk the Presidency this year. I am too sure that all the negative ads that could be ran against her have already been discussed and look how far they have gotten her; the first female President of the United States of America. I watch FOX and I listen to Republicans. The one person they fear this election is not Obama. They are in fact rooting for him. They know that with him, they can win. They can, without a lot of effort, define him, like the did John Kerry. They see that he is weak. They want a weak Democrat to run against so that they can play the national security card. With Hillary, they cannot do that effectively because notwithstanding the fact that everyone seems to highlight her negatives like she is the only one that has them, it is her negatives or the belief in them that will tell any world leader to back off or else. Thats strength, something that Obama cannot give or fake. For these reasons and more, we Dems cannot risk the Presidency and side with a candidate who has no experience, lacks strength and who is a possible punching bag for the Republicans. So wake up.

Comment: In terms of electability in November, Obama has a huge advantage over Hillary. In theory, she would probably be a decent president, but she is far too polarizing to ever win a general election. If Hillary is having this much trouble against her Democratic opponents, it does not bode well for her fortunes in an election where she will facing a huge smear campaign that Republicans are itching to unload on her if she's on the ballot. It's fascinating how the Republican candidates love to mention Hillary as a way of turning out voters but they will seldom speak Obama's name. You could argue that she's more of a lightning rod than abortion or gay marriage.

For a party that is having difficulty mobilizing their base, the GOP's job would become much easier if Hillary were the Democratic nominee. Even if the pro-life "family values" Christian voters have reservations about the Republican nominee (whoever it may be), they would show up in droves just to vote against her. However, if Obama is on the ballot in November, many of the anti-Hillary conservatives will simply stay home and complain about what the world is coming to. Many Democratic voters are either unaware of this or they are so loyal to Clinton that they turn a blind eye to her general election weaknesses.

Anyone whose had any exposure to conservative political circles knows that a huge chunk of the country has hated Hillary for decades and they always will regardless of what she has done or said since her husband left office. Obama has far less baggage and GOP smear campaign fodder. Some Christian conservatives are genuinely intrigued by him because he seems more authentic and coherent when talking about his faith as opposed to Hillary who sounds mechanical and pre-programmed whenever she tries to discuss anything related to religion.

The GOP candidates won't admit it, but they strongly prefer to run against Hillary. She's an easy target and their best hope to keep the White House in Republican hands until 2012. You'll have a hard time finding any religious conservative over 35 who could be persuaded vote for Hillary. However, many of them have still not made up their minds about Obama which opens up the possibility for him to win their support in a long election season.

Bottom line: Clinton could still get the nomination, but she can't win in November. Obama's biggest challenge is beating Hillary in the primaries, but if he does, Obama has the chance to unite the country in favor of true change and win the general election comfortably.

Now, even though Florida is infamous for voting issues, they have pick the canidate that wins for the past 30 years. So I say, look at the Florida results very carefully on January 29.

Comment: Hillary???s triangulation strategy is symptomatic of the Clintons??? character. In the absence of any legal, ethical or moral compass, the Clintons' only character strength is their lust for power simply for powers sake. As a nation we continue to experience the depths of legal, ethical or moral abandon that the Clintons will stoop to in their quest for power.

The next time your making a ???Made in China??? purchase at Wal-Mart remember this, without attaching any strings that would impede China???s growth (strings such as protecting the environment or labor and property rights to levels that are comparable to western standards), the Clinton-Gore administration supported China???s entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) after the 1996 Clinton-Gore re-election campaign accepted illegal campaign contributions from Chinese nationals.

Today China is not only a leading contributor to global warming (thank you very much Mr. Nobel Laureate, Al Gore), it is also pushing up oil and other commodity prices, taking our jobs and stealing our intellectual property.

China almost certainly has more dirt on the Clintons and would love to have another Clinton administration in the White House so as to advance China???s dominance even further. Shame on the Clintons for fooling us once. And shame on us if we let them fool us again.

Comment: Unfortunate for many, we run into an issue that seems to plague the electoral process in this country, choosing evils. However, I am pleased to say that things appear a little brighter this year. While many candidates seem shaky, inexperienced and possibly full of hot air from time to time (as many politicians most definitely are) I think it's safe to say we have a fresh batch of people running for president here. When can we say the last time the front runners for a party, let alone the presidency were composed of a black man and a woman? This is a step in the right direction. Sure, every party has its ups and downs but what it really comes down to at this point is that Hillary, Obama, McCain and Rev. Huckabee have started to show a more confrontational side of politics, backing away from the copious amounts of mudslinging that seems to plague our debates and campaigns. The only candidate that seems truly stuck in the high school-esqe name calling bouts is Mitt Romney. Poor guy just doesn't understand that we're looking for someone to run the country, not point out others fall outs so they don't have to stand for anything.
As far as the candidates themselves, it's possible that Obama may need help from congress, but the president is more a figure head than anything else and the fact that he is such a great orator will come to his aide tremendously. It would be great to have a president that doesn't have posters composed of idiotic quips quoted from speeches. As far as Hillary is concerned, I don't think she's a BAD choice because of the type of person she is. She would be a very refreshing change to the country; but not right now, and not in 2008. With pending wars in the middle-east, we need to keep in mind their outlook and thoughts. Politics is a global community. Unfortunately the culture of many middle-eastern countries does not show respect to women as policy makers, political leaders or people of power in general. Sad as it is, I would hate to see what effect naming a woman (a strong one, don't get me wrong here) as president would have on international relations with the middle east. Sorry Hillary. Huckabee is innocent and that's all good and fine. I like what he stands for. I don't think he's a slug, but if you have a wife and/or daughters, how can you not know there is a writer's strike going on? Pay attention to picket lines man. John McCain is a good man, but he's getting up there in years... I'm just going to label him as the Republican Ross Perot of 2008.
In closing, one of Hillary's advisers has been quoted as saying, "You often learn more about a person when they don't succeed than when they do." This is true and losing his bid for presidency couldn't have helped this man more, and in turn made him a very desirable candidate for the presidency in the future. My support still goes out to Al Gore. Get the man an open minded, mixed party congress and let???s fix this country from the inside out in 2012.

Comment: "...A nation founded by Christians"? Are you kidding me. Here it is 2008 and the lies sitll permiate American history. This is one of the biggest, if not for plain stupidity, the biggest reason why America is in the state it is. All the killing, raping, lying, deceit, etc. that took place for you to wrap yourself in hypocrisy today, has not been forgotten by many. I think you need to stop watching the Andy Griffith Show and do some real research on the coming of America. And folks wonder why the youth of today dont embrace patriotism and Christianity the way they do? The youth have learned of the hypocrisy of their elder patriots and former/present governments, by ALL parties. Millions killed so that you can wrap yourself in a flag that God doesnt give a hoot about. Get with the program!

Have to admit I'm of significant Cherokee lineage and that comment made from such a conservative christian, is no more accurate than the lastest episode of the brady bunch. Comment: Why aren't writers/reporters looking into why there apparently will be unprecedented numbers of Republicans voting in the Democratic caucuses. I can't believe they are really switching parties. It appears that the Republican Party has launched a dirty tricks campaign to vote Hillary out of contention by crossing over and voting for someone who can't win in the general election. Typical unethical behavior for Republicans, if you ask me!

    • Posted By: labrat07 @ 01/04/2008 1:44:45 AM

Comment: You just dont get it and probably never will - people are tired of corrupt parties sending their pre-ordained candidates ie.Hillary and Kerry before her (look where that got us) up for general election so that Americans have no real choice. Think about why the DNC moved up caucus to Jan 3rd to keep a certain demographic from voting and influencing the outcome. That would actually be democracy working - cant have that and interfere with our plans. No, the answer you and all those in the school of old politics refuse to see is that Americans of all stripes whether it be party, gender, age, race, whatever have decided to speak up and pick a real candidate for once. Instead, you fall back on some fantasy conspiracy where the whole Republican party is organizing to blemish your candidate. Take off the blinders and open your eyes and see the crowds with all their enthusiasm culminating in a hugely record turnout to vote, various ages and ethnicities, various party affiliations and you might actually see what democracy looks like in action. Or just stubbornly bury your head back in the sand, either way , you are going to see real change.

Then once they have their creation in office, they go on with business as usual. We struggle more and more to get by, and they lounge comfortably in the lap of luxury. AMERICAN PEOPLE: Don't let them spoon-feed you Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton! Realize this: the real power lies with you! And me! NOT WITH THE WEALTHY CONTROLLING ELITE. The file criminal charges against corporations for dipping in to the retirement funds but they do the same thing to social security and never manage to mention that when they talk about fixing it. Both of her closest Democratic presidential rivals have held that same office. Perhaps Hillary is trying to claim that being first lady qualifies her to be president. But that is an honorary title and she did nothing to earn it. If being first lady is qualification for being president, then both Barbara Bush and Laura Bush are every bit as qualified as Hillary Clinton for the office. Some of the things that Hillary has actual experience in are: getting laundered political payoffs in the form of cattle futures trading profits and claiming she made the money by reading The Wall Street Journal; engineering the firing of White House Travel Office personnel by making false accusations of embezzlement so that Clinton cronies could take over the office; holding secret health-care reform meetings in violation of the law and generally presiding over a disastrous health-care plan that she couldn???t get passed despite having a Democratic majority in Congress.
