    1. Barack Obama is a Christian man. One of his relatives was a Muslim. He.. is NOT.
    2. Muslin is a type of fabric, not a religion or a lifestyle.
    3. I really hope that the stupid and uninformed do not show up to vote. This election is way too important.
    We have a true chance to change the way our country is percieved globally, as well as get off of the downward Bush Spiral. We can get our country back. Do you not understand? Whomever we choose to put into office counld actually listen to the voices of the American People. GW Bush does not even realize that he is supposed to be the ultimate Representative. It is like he believe that he knows best, so he mustn't waste hime time listening to what we are saying. We can finally do something! ~willie, If I were you, I would start reading. Yep.       Obama seems to have been in denial of his heritage. He never mentioned once about his father who came from Africa and his relationship with him on the campaign trails. He doesn't even want people to call his middle name "Huessen".

      This is why am not voting for him. He can win Iowa today with the help all the republicans but that is about it. Republicans aren't going to vote for him in the general election and I strongly believe in it. Some republicans are changing parties today to vote for him becasue they are anti-Hillary Clinton.
      I am African American and I am not wasting my vote on Obama. Thank you

        He has mentioned that his father is from Africa and even visited the Kenyan village he came from. I am assuming they did not spend much time together due to the fact that they lived on seperate continents. Read his books and make your decisions on issues that matter. That is what is wrong with our country today.

    obama as president would be the most disasterous event this country could experience. this man has absolutely no credentials whatsoever to certify him to be the head of the most powerful country on earth. those of you who think differently have absolutely no idea what it takes to be in charge of the unites states.it would be the most dangerous event in our history to have obama in charge. we would immediately become one of the weakest countries in the world. the other powerful countries on this planet would completely over power him almost instantly. could you even imagine him facing off against leaders such as putin of russia. if of north korea. ahmadinajad of iran etc,etc. they would absolutely terrify him. he has absolutely no experience at all in dealing with international affairs. voting for him is the stupidest thing you could possibly do. also, don't forget his upbringing and his early years as a muslim. his father and 2 brothers are still associated with muslim factions. isn't it incredible that he never mention his family or anything about them? what is he trying to hide??? vote wisely and think wisely. do not be swayed by celebrity oh hype.

      I think it's safe to say that current president is the "most dangerous event in our history".

    God Bless you all I am African American and I do want Obama to win it really shows how far we come. I am so proud of every American it make sme feel so good that he has come this far. This will be the biggest story in the last 100 years if Mr. Obama wins. All I ask everyone to do is to pray and ask God about him, look into his heart . He wants to help us all; he gone thru so much to put his life and family on the line. I just want you to know I love you all and I love America. We are going to be a greater country becuase of Obama.

    Do any of you people posting these nit picky comments about Barack's life ever stop to think about what your life would look like under such scrutiny? This is why we need him. He is an average American in every regard except for the fact that he is BRILLIANT and has the education, passion and experience to lead this country in a new direction.

    How about somebody in the press or TV checking the 10 point vision statement of the Trinity Church that Obama professed to belong to on the Oprah Winfield show. There is a point in the statement that members of the congregation have a non-negotiable commitment to Africa? It seems to me that a presidential candidates commitment should be to the United Staes of America and all of it's people - NOT a foreign comntinent!

    I've read it, now I'm interested in seeing "fact checks" on the other candidates in these hours before the caucuses start. I saw the Romney and Huckabee ones (and frankly, I'm not shocked over those either), but where is the Giuliani fact check, the Clinton fact check, the Thompson, Dodd or Paul ones? Or are the candidates that don't toe the line the only ones being fact checked?

    Barack Obama is a nice young man. I have read his books and listened to his speeches.
    He is not ready to be president of the United States.
    He has accepted money from lobbyists-pharmaceuiticals- oil and gas-securities investments -commercial banks etc. not one of these companies would donate without some understanding of what their money was going to buy.
    He is running on a slogan for change. What change????

      How does Bush have this country's best interest in mind when only his buddies, who have non-bidding military contracts are the only ones getting rich??? The international community no longer respect the US, the economy sucks, military personal are dying- 1st because of weapons of mass destruction we never found, 2nd then to rid iraq of a dictator, 3rd to liberate people who where doing better off before the war.
