I usually do my darndaest to ignore the travails of the rich, selfish and famous, but it seems to me that in this case it might be a matter of life and death. I feel horrible for her kids. They, as young as they are understand thay things have gon terribly wrong in their lives on some level. As for Britney, if someone doesn't grab her by the nape of her neck and talk to her like a Dutch uncle and make her understand what she ids doing to herself and others, she's a dead woman. Ther are plenty around like her who don't get the publicity and don't have the resources to deal with problems like hers-whatever they are, they are extrememely self-destructive. The best thing that could happen is that she becomes the poster child for people suffering whatever it is she is suffering, saving herself, her kids' psyches and hopefully some people who are not celebrities but find themselves in her predicament.
I wish the paparazzi would stop following her. We don't need to know about this stuff. Let her have her breakdown in private. Most people going through a divorce and child custody dispute have lots of breakdowns and need help from family and friends, not the whole world looking on and saying ha, ha. Dr Phil should have his medical license taken away (if he has one) for even commenting on seeing her at the hospital. I'm no Britney fan, but she needs to get away from these parasites.
Dr .Phil thnks his celebrity makes him a therapist for all celebrtiies. He's come close to the edge of irresponsibility before and this one is really bad. BTW, he's a psychologist, not a psychiatrist.
She just needs some time to chill and relax and figure things out. I would recommend a good life coach like the ones you can find on healthyvibesuk.com and maybe some time out of the country and away from all the cameras. Britney, if you are reading this, just want you to know no matter what they say, we love you here in Malibu.
It is that kind of love and superficial solutions that has led the girl to go bonkers. She doesn't need a life coach. She doesn't need a rest by a pool. She needs a shrink and years of treatment.
She needs to be in a long term psychiatric hospital away from the press (and Dr. Phil) committed so that she would be forced to stay at least 90 days. She needs to be safeguarded on a locked unit, evalluated by competent professioals and treated by them. UCLA's psychatric unit, Menninger in Kansas, Payne Whitney in New York or any of the major psych units would work but she has got to be kept safe until she can really assess her life and start getting the treatment she needs, which may take years and not weeks.
Give me a break. It's all quite obvious. This gal has no real talent, she cannot sing well, she cannot write her own music, she cannot act, she has no education. All she has is to remain a celebrity and she has no motivation or confidence or intellect to pursue anything else. She will do whatever it takes to remain a celebrity and all she can think of is to act outrageously and pander to the paparazzi. She'll abuse drugs, alcohol or her kids to remain in the spotlight. As for your comments in Brit's lack of talent you must be refereing to yourself because any un caring psych nurse is a misfit and a shame to our profesion. i never write on discussions but here we go. this young woman is experiencing a break down. she will keep coming back to a state of confusion until she is unable to manage in a rational manner. some of us have experienced this as well. we either think we are bigger than our current problem or helpless to take action on the problem. no change means being stuck in a loop that just brings brit back to a state of confusion and lack of resolution. I would help her if I could. who will step up in her life? how about her ex-husband, mother, sister and father. any and all better get her to relax and clam her life to get it back in balance. the longer she waits the worse it will become.

The focus of news and the loss of her children will imminantly destroy her, her image has been destroyed by her husband and mother because of jealousy and the focus on mistakes of mother hood, since she has been neglected that she has been treated with franchise and has not learned any normal boundaries of parenting this should be the mothers fault, No matter what the conclusion is based on just the media stand point not a personal stand point. The accused is innocent because of the inability to expand her motherhood the children without guidance is really in no threat, but the mother is because of the lack of motherhood teaching. Look at the history not just now, because it does make sense.

IC a girl that thinks money and fame can buy her anything! So sad ALL the advice given to her fell upon deaf ears. She never had a normal childhood, with normal kids. Im sure there was a sweet southern girl somewhere hidden DEEP inside her.. She needs to find that Britney. Then come back to her fans that still love and adore her, faults and all. I think we all need to remember our worst moment and our worst one yet to come. It is so hurtful to see how we human beings can be so quick to judge someone, whether we know all the details or not. Everytime I see anything about Britney, her children, sister or Kevin, I am so humbled because they are ALL in sp much pain. I am grateful to be able to see past the actions of a person and recognize that what we do does not make us who we are. I hope that the people who are judging her will take the time to pray for her and her family. I know alot of people pray for me, even when I don't think I deserve it. That is what God's grace is all about...undeserved favor.

You are the only one in all of this that has the ability to stop this madness. The choice is either ask someone to help you, or keep trying to make it disappear like it isn't happening to you which won't ever happen. Look to heaven and ask God for his blessings and forgiveness. He will put you on the path of recovery. Find a church, a church buddy and kneel before his grace and stop this destruction. You have it in you to be whatever it is you choose. In light of Britney's behavior, I absolutely do not believe custody should go to her at this moment but are we forgetting what kind of father k-fed is? He left his then pregnant girlfriend and child at the time to be with Britney in the first place, then continued to party and stay out non stop while Britney was at home with her first child and pregnant with her second. Neither one of them is fit to be a parent. Since when is he father of the year? He was only in it for the fame and the fortune and will forever be known as Mr. Britney Spears. I hope she gets the help that she needs.
There is a lot of evidence now that she is bipolar or suffering from some other mental disorder. According to CNN this morning, her drug tests were negative after she was submitted to the hospital this time.
She is obviously having some sort of mental breakdown or issue, which thousands suffer from each day...except in her case, every second of her breakdown is taped for our viewing pleasure...so we can watch and criticize.
About time a judge actually gave a father sole custody. The girl needs help, but obviously she was never or ever will be fit to be a good mother.
