I agree with The Bard. Why are we getting this story spoon fed to us? Why is Britney, her ex-husband, her children, or any other thing about her life important to America? What about the real stories? Is Britney more important than Darfur? More important than Tibet? Let's get a grip.

Please put her in an institution. She needs seriuoso medical help, not continue dpublic scrutiny for a buck. what about the kids? Does anyone care about their safety or well being? We have men and women puting their lives on the line every day with little pay and lucky if they have a cot to sleep on. The Spears, Hiltons, Lohans, and many others need to be sent to the sand box, learn about life. Rehab at it's best, and PLEASE keep them there

Britany has a serious mental illness. She is an adult so no one can force her to get treatment. I think she realizes (after she comes down from her manic episodes) that she is behaving badly. She may also be self medicating with booze and illegal drugs. She is the only one who can help herself. Ask anyone who has a mentally ill family member. You cannot force an adult to get any kind of medical treatment. So it is pointless to blame her parents, her friends or her former spouse. The best thing we can all do is educate ourselves about mental illness and be supportive.

I love it!! She was alledgedly drug-tested and found to be "clean".......i.e. not on ILLEGAL drugs!!
but in a later article, she had supposedly taken a medicine cabinet full of prescribed drugs, oxycontin,
vicodin, 2 bottles of Nyquil, vodka, diet pills, herbal uppers, 18 Piriton antihistamine, sleeping pills, antacids, 10 Zantac and two empty bottles containing the aforementioned Oxycontin....

I wanna hear some real news. she is goin to continue 2 be a f-up as long as the cameras are gonna keep comin around. Did u see how she was smiling when she came out on a gurney. She was lovin the attention!! she has no talent, that is the only way for her to stay famous. shes famous white trash. she should be living in a tailer down by the river! look what happend to her sister. i feel sorry for her, shes gonna end up in the same mental ward as brittney. i cant wait till the day when america gets their heads outta there asses and realizes that there is way more important things in life than these 2 geniuses(k fed and brit). if you don't like what you hear on the t.v. or radio , CHANGE THE CHANNEL! .... and mountain grandma, how can you say 'just like Anna Nicole' ??? the poor woman is dead and her poor child is now motherless ... BAD comparison ... and to say Britney is not important ??? ALL MOTHERS are IMPORTANT ! How would you have liked someone to say that about you ??? Once you choose to have children then your primary responsiblity becomes those children. There is no way that Spears doesn't know what is the best environment for children and that her homelife is not it. However, she, for whatever reason, is not providing the best for her children. Thus, they should be taken away. However, I believe that there are many people in our society who should also lose their children. They neglect them, abuse them, care more for themselves than for the children, and so on. Take away all of the kids, steralize the parents and pour vast amounts of money into helping the kids who are taken away find wonderful adoptive parents or wonderful orphanages designed to take excellent care of the children. Put the emphasis on the children because the adults have had their chance.
