    what is wrong with this child who refuses to grow up is just that; the real world came knocking on her door and she doesn't know how to deal with it, and we're feeding the problem with all the attention we're giving her. Give it a rest already!

    Ok people be kind.She is a young mom and needs the support of her family,firneds and fans!
    She truely seems to be having some real problems but i can tell you as a mother of 4 young children if they were taken from me I would totally flip out!!!!! Some people just cannot handle this stuff and need to get the proper help and it seems she has landed herself in the right place to start a new beginning. BE FAIR

      The only difference between you and her is that you're proably a good mother. She's not and has proved it time and time again, but partying all night long, wearing extremely revealing clothes, no underwear showing her privates for all to see, driving with her kids unstrapped in their seats, carrying one kid on her hip and dropping him, shaving her head, hitting her car, beating another car with an umbrella, deliberately defying court orders, deliberately not attending hearings, depositions, and now this. All because she thinks she can get away with it because she a STAR! Big deal.

      She's a poor example of a mother. You, on the other hand are probably a good parent. That's the difference. Don't compare yourself with the tramp.

    Very often a mentally ill person will self-medicate by drinking or overusing drugs. Brittaney Spears very obviously is having a great many problems. However, ANY mother would be reacting improperly to losing their children. Instead of criticizing her, I would like to know why no one is helping that child?

      How you can have sympathy for this loser is beyond me. You think she's a good parent? Tell me, what kind of example is she setting to her children by going around partying all night long wearing almost nothing and NO UNDERWEAR TO BOOT ONLY TO SHOW HERSELF TO THE PAPPARAZI! She deserves to lose those children. If there is anyone I feel sorry for it's those kids. God, what's wrong with you people?

    This is a very sad situation for a young mother, who lives her life in a "fish bowl" for all to see. If she had only had a caring, stable mother, who could step in to help her, and an equally caring ex-spouse -- who didn't care so much about himself and "child support", Brittney could have prevailed. The press and photographers should be ashamed of themselves, as well as the public who always demand more.
    A caring Calif. mom and grandmother.

      Grmamary, if she truly cared about those boys, she'd be cooperating with the courts rather than defying their orders. The press and photographers are NO EXCUSE for HER bad behavior. Kevin Federline is living like a monk compared to the spoiled little rich girl, Brittany.

    Personally, I find Britney an interesting celebrity to follow. It's amazing how someone who seemed to have everything just a few short years ago has completely screwed up her life. I feel sorry for her. I don't know if it's mental illness or just a desparate attempt to stay in the limelight, but I do know this: I am happy to be me and not her.

    Has anyone considered bipolar disorder. She seems to fit the bill. Bingeing, risky behavior, disreagard for authority, self-centered to the point of child neglect, if not abuse. Drug and alcohol. I have seen this in my family. It is usually not diagnosed for a long time. Then compliance with treatment is extrememly difficult.

    I believe that Britney is bipolar. risky behavior, disregard for rules and authority, self-centered to the point of child abuse. I have seen this in my own family. You can only write it off as hijinks for so long.
