What’s Wrong with Britney?

I hope that Ms. Spears gets the medical attention that she needs. It would be good for her to not have the pressure of the spotlight on her every move. I personally wouldn't want people prying for a look into my divorce, failing career or child-custody case. With Ms. Spears receiving the help that she needs, hopefully she will recover fully and be able to have a relationship with ehr two children again. I don't care about ehr career- it's over anyway- but I am compelled to care about this person because she is in fact just that: a person. Get well Britney Spears.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that all the alcohol (drugs??), and partying won't do much to alleviate her obvious mental illness whether it be bi-polar disorder or PPD. It's about time that she be put somewhere that REQUIRES her to get help. These luxury spas and resorts that call themselves treatment facilities for celebrities are a complete joke. I'd be interested to see what the actual success rate, or lack thereof for these so-called facilities is..Maybe 10%?? Another example of how fame and fortune has turned another celebrity into front page news for all the wrong reasons. I'm sure that there are more pressing issues in the world we live in, but this will continue to garner all the publicity for months to come!

I still think shes high on cocaine more so than suffering from PPD. She looked completely out of it at the award's show and its not huge leap seeing that she always going to HOTELS, Hello can you say drug delivery away from prying eyes? Either way she needs some medical help and counseling to understand how far shes sunk. Time away from Hollyweird, some normalicy and sleep, a true friend and no street drugs would make a huge difference....Also If K Fed really cared he would step up and help HER and the kids. She seems like shes trying to gain some control over him with this drawn out custody case. and she so obviously hurting. I feel for her but she needs to get it together. Can you imagine all that money and ending up in the psych ward? Now that's CRAZY. Go to the Bahamas and forget about it! Well maybe not the Bahamas....

To each and everyone of you that slam Britney...shut up, she is not your child, your daughter, your wife or whatever. You have no right to even voice your opinion about her actions. This woman is seriously Bi-Polar and the ignorant physicians in California are too stupid to recognise it. KTHORSE also mentions Bi-Polar, but then she says..."leave her alone or she will end up another tragedy"...NO!, That is the last thing she needs, is being left alone...Then we will see a tragedy. She needs to be treated for the right ailment and she will be ok once again. Britney I am going to remember you in my prayers, hoping someone cares enough to find out what is wrong with you.

she's been in the public eye since she was 9 years old helloooooooooooooooo! a 9 year old don't make choices to act her parents did - she was a source of income to them...child slavery if u ask me blah at some of u scares me some of u too may have some form of mental illness...hollywood has been full of nuts under the eyes of people like us..marilyn monroe, anna nicole there's tons of them to sit here namin them all...why not laws to stop these nuts called paparazzi...she's sick either way and where she is is where she needs to be :)

Britney desperatly needs help but who will she allow to help her??? She trusts no one and her mother shouldnt even be allowed within 10 miles of her. She is to blame for the train wreck that Britney and her sister are becoming...

why worry about the ***. publicity is all. she needs money. quit giving her free publicity. she is not worth the space she takes up in this life

I am pretty sure Brittney suffers from post-partum depression, it is unfortunate that wilh all her money, she didnt seek out help from her first child and then along came the second child increasing the post-partum depression. And then to have your children taken away from you, i would become suicidal too. Brittney has alot of people around her, but I am pretty sure they are all afraid to speak up, because they might lose their jobs and friendship or living the good life with her. If they are real friends, they should speak up and dont worry about losing your job or friendship with her, she will realize all that later and be grateful to you later on....I feel sorry for her, I cant imagine having my children taken away....peace to all!

I hope that none of you have ever experienced horrible depression in your family ! To know that you have inherited it or it just has gotten you in it's clutches is truly a scary and maddening thing. I do believe that she has a chemical imbalance with her seritonin- whether it is PPD or from the drugs, she does have a problem. I hope that she finds a doctor that does not want any fame, that can stand behind the scenes and help this girl. Remember everyone, she could be your daughter, niece, cousing, daughter-in-law, wife, mother, or friend, it DOES happen. Yes, we could look at her with pity, anger, or sympathy, just remember that she is a human being that does have a problem and needs the correct help. She is not bright but remember that she wanted children sooooo bad. Was she taken care of? Was she abused? Did she have the correct upbringing? Is depression in her family? Please, I hope that you understand that whatever this is, it affects family, friends, and those precious boys!
