    give her a break, figure you are only 26 and have been given everything under the sun. Then you are a mother of 2 no less. You get divorced, your world that everybody said was going to crumble did. Now what? You attempt to figure out who and what you are. Oh with 2 kids. Ask any newly divorced mom with children, it is hard. Now look at it being Britney. She needs help while big brother is watching 24/7.

    By this girls action it is clear she does not want those kids. Why do they keep giving them back to her. This time the judge needs to say Kevin gets the kids until she can prove she is stable enough for them. The mother is not allways the best choise.

    What is happening to Ms Spears is part of the "monster" created by the US media. She knows that, no matter what she does, they are steps behind her with a camera. At times the "candid shots" are nothing more than Ms Spears acting out like a kid. She must understand that she is now a mother, not a "mouseketeer", and grow up. She is a rich spoilt brat. Her therapy should include forced periods where she is taught world affairs, and shown the plight of poor starving people all over the world so that she can understand that it's not all about "poor misunderstood Ms Spears". The child has some psychiactric problem that she refuses to acknowledge.

    While there may be some truth to what "BrneoGal" states, the fact remains she does indeed need to accept blame for her actions. She chose to enter the entertainment industry, chose to have two beautiful children, yet chooses to continue to act as though she were still 18 years old without the responsibilities being a parent brings as evidenced by her continual partying and destructive behaviors. She doesn't need excuses made for her - she justs needs to grow up, get it together and be there for her boys the way a mother is supposed to be. Having a child is a commitment - and she needs to focus on that more than any other thing for the next 16 years.

      there is something that you seem to have missed. they took her kids away."be there" and, " it is a responsability to have kids" tell that to K Federlien who had a woman pregnant as he was persuing Britney.that is a sign of a negligent parent. getting one woman pregnant and then persuing a different one and supplying Illegal Drugs to her.

    Surely the media can find something to find for people to read about, other than a young woman whos troubles are kindled by their gain in building their pay check. News used to be honorable, today, they have the power to guide their readers in the direction they wish, and at any costs, or who it hurts.

    I really don't know about Brits music, I am older and have different musical tastes. But I see her in the news all the time. It seems like she had post partum symtoms and not recognizing this, she went on acting erratically and things spun out of control. I am no doc by anymeans but being a mom etc. I tried to think what could be wrong.... Some woman get out of whack after giving birth. All I would pray for is that she get help for herself, cause that can't be any good for her what shes going through and mostly for the sake of her children. All we can do is show compassion and hope she turns around her life.

    why are people acting as if this woman doesn't have serious psychological problems!?!?! everything that she's done post-federline to this point suggests that she is suffering from a neurosis if not a psychosis. i'm surprised it's taken authorities so long to give her the proper medical attention. i said it months before when her behavior became so erratic, and i'll say it again. leave this girl alone before she truly goes off the deep end and hurts somebody or herself.

    Britney places herself in these predicaments she always seens to end up in. If she can't stand on her own two feet to look after her children, she shouldn't have custody of them until she goes through whatever treatment and councilling she needs to be a stable person. She put them in horrendous danger. What would we as a nation be feeling if she really hurt them physically or killed them? She has the resources to seek help for her mental health, that many who are not able to from lack of finances. Many stars live out thier lives privately with their families no matter what their situation is. Its time for the public to quit enabling her bad behavior and encourage her to seek the help whatever form it may be so she can live a fruitful life and be there for her children.

    Britney puts herself in her predicaments. Other stars in the limelite manage to live their lifes privately. If she wants to be in her c hildrens lives, she has to take responsibility for her actions and seek the help she needs to stabilize her life. She put her children in grave danger. she needs to grow up and realize when she gave birth to two little beings, her life wasn't all about her. Until then her ex should continue being the main caregiver. Everyone stand up and quit enabling her with excuses to be the person that is crashing badly.
