What’s Wrong with Britney?

Lets not jump to the conclusion that this is the result of drug and alcohol abuse. The truth is if you look at the facts of the case there was NO DRUGS and NO ALCOHOL in her system. She has never been caught with drugs nor has she been arrested for DUI. So unless we know Ms. Britney Spears personally we can't make those judgements. We are being spoon fed garbage from the media, Lets be objective here the problem is the way she was raised. How would you all feel if you were robbed of a childhood at a young age and have been and singing and dancing machine that her OWN MOTHER created. Think of what it is really like for Britney to live life in a fish bowl. She can't take a crap without the whole world knowing let alone live her life. Some would say she chose this, but lets be real the paparazzi and the media are invasive and out of control and if we as Americans chose to listen to everything we here then this country has a pathetic future. If you lived your life with hundreds of people following you, waiting you to screw up you would go CRAZY too. We all make mistakes and shouldn't have to spend our lives defending our character. Leave the girl alone and research the facts before we start to judge others based on small snip'its from the media.

I agree that she should get the help she needs and a support system for herself and she does need to take a good look at her drinking and whatever else she has been doing. I think she is probably so depressed and desperate that she is making horrible choices and really is out of control. I just hope her being admitted to the hospital will open her eyes and she can begin to get some professional help in all of this.

How old are you Brittany supporters? She has made choices over her children, who if you have forgotten, has not been given a choice! As for Kevin, he maybe going out and making apperances to make money, but he is following the court orders!!!! He is with his kids, sober, when they are in his care. Brittany definately needs help, not our sympathy. Sympathy has obviously fed this monster.

I agree with the other comments, but she needs a real friend to tell her the truth and step up to the plate and get her the proffessional help she truely needs before it's too late.... she's worked so hard and for what... she's losing the only 2 things that should matter in her life...

Enough with Brittany needs a friend, not a doctor, she has had people trying to help her, this is beyond a friends help... She needs to speak with a professional, maybe a friend can come along for moral support, but she has screwed up too many times now... She's lost>>> she needs a friend who is going to take her to a professional and be by her side while she seeks proffessional help.. It won't dissapear and go away, she has alot of issue's.. The Brittany that everyone thought they knew was crying out for help and no one heard her... If there is a good friend of her's they should step up to the plate and do the right thing, she real needs to be told the truth... It's not poor Brittany.. tell her the truth... make her realize that she is losing EVERYTHING!!!!! everything she wroked for, and those precious children.... She needs help before it's too LATE!!!!

I really feel for this girl. She has spiraled out of control since her and Kevin split. She is so scrutinized by the media that everything she does is magnified by 3000. Of course some of it comes with being a celebrity, but c'mon now. She seems to be going through depression since her life as she knew it has been turned upside down. I know I thought she would be a wonderful mom to the kids when they split, but I think him not being in the picture was too much for her to handle. She moved so quickly into this relationship with him and then here comes the two kids, that was a lot. Her hormoneds probably never stabilized after the birth of both of her children. Then to lose them to Kevin had to be a hard one to swallow. Shar says he's a great dad and all but how great is he when he left her pregnant and started a relationship with Britney? Great dad's are great people and to me he is not. Brit is his 15 minutes to fame and money. His album was a total bomb, like most people with common sense expected, yet here he is still in the spotlight because of what's going on. He's out drinking, partying and getting high and no one feels the need to bring that up. All of that is overlooked. Brit goes out and shaves her head and looses a bit of control and she's this psychotic monster. I really don't understand the justice system on this one. I believe that more than anything Brit needs love, prayer and some help. She will survive this and be stronger when it's over. People don't understand what it does to women who lose their children to their ex-husband after a failed marriage. Be more understanding.

That is the price when you are popular and pretty.
Just leave her alone,forgive her for whathever she did and start loving her.

I feel very badly for Britney Spears, she has really had a hard time since her separation and divorce from Kevin Federline. She has been under the constant pressure to suceed with her music and her in the spotlight contantly being judged on how she is mothering her children. Now she is in a hospital and seems so lost. My wish for Britney is that she can find within herself some self worth and start over to become the nurturing and loving mother that I know ishe has inside of her. Her children are the only ones in her life that truly love her and now they have been taken from her. She can get it together with some help from her true friends....

Britney is displaying all the signs of bipolar disorder. I commend the police for sending her for professional help. Maybe now she will be properly diagnosed and get the help that she needs to have a healthy and productive life. Up to now, she has been exploited by both the media and her so called "friends".

Britney Spears is showing all the symptoms of bipolar. It is a good thing that the police have made the decision to have her evaluated by mental health professionals. She has been surrounded by and exploited by both the people around her as well as the media. Maybe now she will be properly diagnosed and get the help that she needs.

TMZ posted photos of the Mother of Britney @ the grave of her sister who died last year at this time. So that is probably why she is not by Britney's side and my goodness....Britney pushed her away months ago....do you think her mom would honestly do any good if Britney doesn't want her around? This is sad all the way around hopefully with some help Britney and her Mother can re-connect-

I also feel like the judge in her case has practically bent over backwards to give her a hard time and not really given Kevin Federline much to live up too. Yes, Britney didn't help herself much by not obeying the judge's orders and show up on time for everything, but it seems to me that the judge/commissioner from the very beginning has expected more from her than from Federline. For example, this business over the California driver's license. The judge wanted her to have one, and the tabloids made it seem like she didn't have a license at all. But she did; only it was a Louisiana license where she is from. I understand if you have primary residence in one state you should have a license there, but I don't understand why it was such a big issue to the judge.
It does seem very much like everything is on her and very little is on Kevin Federline; who, btw, has supposedly been smoking marijuana around the children. The screaming headline in one of the tabloids a couple of weeks ago about drug testing the children was not regarding Britney, it was regarding Kevin Federline. I think most people saw that and thought oh, Britney doing drugs, but that isn't what it was about; it was about Kevin. Speculation was even made that the drug tests might not be done because the judge, who has not been sympathetic to Britney, would have to allow it. Of course, it's a tabloid, but maybe there was a grain of truth in it.
Kevin may care about these kids, but he also cares about Britney's money and losing his meal ticket. He was basically a nobody before he married her, and his main source of income is Britney. He may have a few offers now, but let me say it again; his main source of income is still Britney. And guess what, if he doesn't have those kids, he doesn't have any money from Britney. He wouldn't get a cent.

I really think she need help, and maybe a long trip or move to an unknown country or state, where she can regain control of her life and make plans for her and her children's future without the interference/influence of the people that hang out around her at this time. She must take the best decision now; her life depend on it

I really feel badly for Britney Spears she has been so publicly assaulted and she is really having a tuff time and it seems as though the only one that really must love her are her children and now they have been taken away. My wish for her is to get her life straighten out so she can be a good mother to her boys, I know she has it in her she just needs someone who genuinely cares for her in her life that can allow her to be the good and nurturing person she has inside.

The media is giving Britney all this attention because there is a market for it, and the market in the tabloids isn't necessarily through her fans. It's through people who want to bash her and make money off of her; and mock her and her family. As if we were all so perfect we could criticize everyone else for what they do or fail to do.
I feel a bit sorry for Britney, because everyone is making assumptions and so on without really knowing all the facts. One television host a few weeks back made the comment that it was pretty clear to her Britney was suffering from post partum issues. I think this is quite likely, and may in fact be THE major contributing factor to her behavior. It's something that has not really been discussed much in the media, and it certainly explains a lot of things. When Britney went to the hospital the other night someone even speculated that what Britney has been doing is self-medicating when she should have sought medical attention prior to this. However, we don't always see that we need help when we actually need it.
She made some rash decisions in the past, but nothing on this level. Prior to all this happening, much of Britney's behavior could be attributed to things like being the entire family's main support, wondering whether people cared about her for her or her money and so on.
