Hello I am from Kosova (Kosovo). I join my Serbian friend in my support for Obama. Many Albanians will vote for him as he represents the future in the United States.

Hello from Serbia. I can say that Obama is great person and You must be proud because he is main candidat for president of USA. Once I said "Serbia will have woman president when in USA black candidat win. Obviously, many good things were hapen in USA in recent years (I think on racism, not on wars). But his color is not important. Important is the fact that his speach and way of thinking is correct.and I see progress in him.

Something that American's should remember it is easy to point the finger to president George bush for all that is wrong with america. Do me a favor and research the power President has compared to congress, our u.s. senate and the house of repsentatives. in my opinion these are the people that we should be worried about take office. these are the people who's name should be known. however in regards to the war on terrorism i completly back ALL OF OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS DECISION to respond to a never before seen attack on american soil.

It is very difficult for me to sit in the comfort of my home and watch critizism on America. I understand to make a statement it is easy to state the negative and point out all the things wrong, but America doesn't deserve such things Mrs. Obama stated. This country has come along way and stands taller then anyother nation in the world and this is not a time for negative comments. On a different note I am a white-middle class non-racist American citizen that doesn't like to classied as one. I personaly do not believe that i can live comfortable for the next four years if this is the common topic of our probable president. She and her husband should not only encourage African America's dealing with economic crisis. With this speech she is causing more racism, and coming off very rude and little inmature.

I'm a highschool student that is looking for input when trying the decide America's great leader. And as sit around my computer reseaching each and every candiate I would enjoy to hear what we the people have to say...besides my friends at the cafeteria table are getting tried of my necessary obsession. When, in the history of the world, has a fence ever kept anyone out? That has been tried numerous times historically, and has never worked. Why spend such astronomical amounts of money on something that has not and will not work? Of course Obama is against a fence. It is the sane choice. It is just one example of his level-headed, common sense attitude that I am beginning to admire about him.

Second, he does NOT have a muslim background (and learn to spell you hillbilly), he went to a school in Jakarta that is NOT specifically muslim, or didn't you read the report ? I'm not "fooled," I've worked with him in Chicago for years. I am amazed at how there are people who still want to divide this nation, who want to paint the picture that we hate everyone who are not Americans. Far more amazing, is how we want to slander those who are Americans. You don't have to agree with the platform, or the message, but don't slander for the sake of slandering. Please don't spread the propaganda that they want you to spread. That just makes you a puppet. Obama is an intelligent man, that wants change for this country. We are in desperate need for a change. Bush has placed us in a mess and it's going to take someone with different thinking to place America back on top as the mecca for free thinking, social tolerance, love, honor, patriotism, truth, and justice.

Experience matters in the sense that typically judgement comes with experience. When you look for the most experienced MD, you don't want the MD that's had the most cases you're looking for the MD that will have the best judgement when it comes to your case. Nobody has more experience running the country in the post 9/11 era than George Bush (yes, I realize that he can't run again), but I feel that he has continued to exercise poor judgement in domestic and foriegn matters, and if he were eligible to run again he'd be the last person I'd vote for. So while Obama lacks the experience of some of the other candidates he strikes me as someone reasoned and intelligent, not someone who blindly follows party lines someone who has good judgement, someone who when presented with the facts will make the decision for the country. Someone who will pick a solid cabinet, who minimize any potential "learning stage"

mbaird628, i would appreicate if you could please expound on your posts. If you have any facts on Obama and the muslims creating a theocracy, I feel that's very pertinent information, and I would like to know more. If however, it's just something you've heard from someone who heard, from someone who's heard from someone who knows things, then perhaps that explains why I hadn't heard your theory before.

Quite frankly...experience does matter. Mr. Obama seems to discount the need for experience in leading an effective change in our country. If I am consulting a MD for a second opionin regarding a medical procedure, I will chose one with experience, along with credentials and training. Experience lessens the time for making a change- get the "learning stage" over and done with and move on. Obama does not have the strength that comes from experience.

I am wondering, if we really want to affect the deficeit maybe it would be economically feasible to hold the Presidential election once every SIX years for one term. This would mean that the power monger's would only have once chance in a given decade to change things. I am not talking about Congress. I am talking about the Presidential elections only. There's got to be 50 Million Dollars in there somewhere we could put to good use. I would appreciate anyones point of view.
