You ever notice that the media's hottest little hero is very seldom the average person choice. For two years now its been hillary this and hillary that, i guess the media is trying to create their next star!

Mr Obama does not give any specifics as to what he desires to change... That some change is needed is obvious- too many democrats have been mucking up our country for too long with their marxist subterfuge!! But not all change is good...The poor simpleton democrats think that change- any change- for the sake of change- is even remotely congruous to improvement of a situation. You don't revolt except against evil which precludes by definition even allowing the evil dems to propose change. See, just like with drugs, booze and toxic waste, there is absolutely NO problem for which the answer is a democrat!! Besides- if you want change for the better- the thing to do is get rid of the god damned marxist pigs pretending to be americans calling themselves democrats. They have not been cleansed out of washington once since 1940. THAT would be a change that would improve all our lives, and all of USA.

Senator Obama???s success is a gift from President Bush. He is everything Bush is not. The domestic policy, the foreign policy, and all Bush???s failures people hate so much; they turn to Obama for the hopes that they will get. Too bad for Senator Clinton, it???s like Kennedy vs. Nixon all over again.

Nobody is going to "UNITE" this country in a chorus of Kumbaya -- Not on either side of the aisle. But if we are more concerned with stopping the GOP machine from controlling this country for another 4 (8?) years and getting us into a war with Iran - or pushing oil to $200 a barrel - or forcing more tax cuts for billionaires while millions of middle class homeowners lose their houses to foreclosure - then there is only one person to vote for. Hillary Clinton - for all her faults - is the one candidate who can bring about the change we need to see some sanity come back to Washington politics. Under the Clintons in the 1990's we live in relative peace and prosperity and had cleaner air and water and respect in the world and a rising middle class. The media hates the Clintons and is doing everything they can to ensure the Barack Obama is the nominee - but the moment he IS the nominee, the media will turn on him like a mad dog and they will tear him apart like a rag doll. If you want to prevent the corrupt Republican big business machine from holding power in America for the next 4 years -- then come out and vote for Hillary, the one candidate who CAN defeat the Republicans and put the country back on a better course.

Scare tactics? Is that all you got?

    Obama is an intellectual midget...

It is silly to think that Obama will "unite" the country. Do you really see Republicans joining hands with a super LIBERAL that is 100% pro-abortion for any reason, supports "rehab" instead of prison for criminals, wants illegal aliens to be able to "come out of the shadows" and bring their families to the US, etc., etc., etc.. This country is still right of center and Obama will get exposed as a LIberal if he makes it to the general election. NO media is talking about his far left leanings. I had to go to his website to find out what he stood for. This guy is radical!!!!

I think Michelle and family are an asset in their own right. It will be nice to see children in the WH again. And a lot of the (mainly white) guys I work with have said they think michelle is hot...

Thanks for the in-depth article. My father was in Iowa politics as a state senator. So, even though I moved to California many years ago, I still remain curious about the politics. I've been trying to figure out why I am drawn towards Obama. Your story help answer that question. So of us are old enough to remember 1980 as the year the produced the phenomenon of Reagan-Democrats. Perhaps 2008 will offer up its fair share of Obama-Republicans.
