    I used to be a mormon and mormons do not believe in the Trinity as all the Christians believe. mormons do not in Saints and mormon only worry about their finances because they are Closing the schools in the South Pacific.

    mormons are Not Christians even though they use Christ's name. Little kids and young adults are forced to Say" I believe this is the true church, Joseph Smith is the True Prophet of God, President Hinckley is the true prophet of God, blah blah, blah......." If they church is true why say it at every church meetings... which feelings like a business meeting....

    The book of mormon is better than the Bible is one of the teachings. Book of mormon is 80% plagiarized from the Bible as taught at BYU-Hawaii. What a non-sense?

    How do I know these things, I used to be a mormon??????..

      My name is spelled "Lorri" and your comments are non-factual. I'm finding that "used to be" Mormons never understood the true teachings or doctrines of the Church. So now, they just bash the teachings. I suggest that you start studing your "use to be" religion so when you starting making statements about the LDS religion, you sound a little more "in the know". Any Mormon reading your comment KNOWS you did not study very hard. May God bless you and soften your heart. From a Mormon who study the religion before gaining a testimony of it's truthfulness.

      I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I feel sad that you are hurting so badly that you would lie to yourself, God and to the public by saying, we are not Christians. I belong to this "Beautiful Church" . Children are never forced to do such a thing! They are loved and respected. Children have the opportunity to learn of Christ, and to also feel his love for them at home and at church. It is quite natural for them to want to bare witness of his love for them and all of us!

      Before I was baptized into this church I had the opportunity to experience many churches. Many of them had much good. The Mormon Church has every living truth. If you are sincerely, prayerful while reading the Book of Mormon or Bible you couldn't help to see that they only testify of Christ! Also, the Lord can use the most humble, uneducated person or person's to testify of the truths that he would reveal to us. I know that Joseph Smith is and was a prophet of God. This is such a personal journey that any one can find out about any truth or falsehood with a sincere desire and humility towards our Heavenly Father. I hope you over come your anger. It's not a crime to be hurt and angry over some offense but it's what you do with it. You are being "Destructive" to yourself and this "Beautiful Church". I hope you can forgive who ever, what ever bothered you. P.S. people are not perfect but the Gospel of Jesus Christ is !!

    I agree, MA-Voter. We are not here to elect a pastor in chief. We are here to elect the next president of the United States of America. Keep religion out of the election and focus on the issues.

        Our country was founded on judeo-christian values but was careful to make a separation of church and state. Mitt Romney has been careful to keep his faith separate from his politics. We should as well.

    I'm trying to figure out why his religion matters . . . . no other candidate is being given the third degree on their beliefs. Let's grow up and judge a person by their character and their ability to be an honest leader.

    What religion are the other candidates? And now that you can't say does that affect who you vote for? This nation was founded due to religious intolerance. Now many of you say you would not consider a man simply due to his religion. What if he is the best man for the job? Better to have the second best than a mormon I guess? That seems really idiotic!
    I am not sure who I will vote for but I know religion will have nothing to do with it. It will be the candidate I feel will be best for the nation - that is the whole idea of an election. Or did I miss something.

    Oh I guess if religiously we don't get the president we desire we can always riot like they are in Kenya. Becuase as we see there discrimination due to different tribes has worked. I wonder if it will work if we drag religion into the presidential debate. Oh wait your already doing that. You have to love the ignorance with in our society.

Don???t be ridiculous. As a country we need to look past someone???s belief system and look at the candidate. John F. Kennedy was a Catholic. Did Pope run our country? Should we have been worried that Pres. Kennedy was going to molest hundreds of children like many hundreds of horny Catholic priest? Speaking for myself I am looking for a candidate that is going to secure the border, protect my gun rights, make a stronger economy, and fighting Islamic terrorism. That is my candidate.

    what difference does it make about the realtive tenats of the mORMAN RELIGION OR OF ANY OTHER RELIGION. THE pOPE HAS RECENTLY REAFFIRNED THE SUPREMACY OF THE rOMAN cATHOLIC CHURCH AND THE LACK OF IDANTITY OF ANY OTHER RELIGION INCLUDING ALL PROTESTANT CHURCHES.     Regardless of his religion he is the one man with the experience and depth to help our country become the place we want our children raised. He's being attacked because of the intelligence he brings and his ability to solve problems far to complex for most of the other candidates.

    I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I try to treat everyone with respect. I am scared to have a Person like Huckabee in office who is disriminating against others religon. If he were a true Christian he would not be acting the way he does. I cannot support someone for President who is not for all the people!! Most Mormons are very hardworking, kind, and generous. We believe in Christ. When you believe in Christ you treat others no matter their religon as Christ would treat them. Mike Huckabee has proven to be a canidate who has discrimination in his heart for religons he doesnt like. Heaven help us if he gets elected and has to make hard foriegn affair choices or meet with those he doesnt like their religious choices! Please all of you out there who put Mormons down, look at the facts on www.lds.org. There you will find what we believe in and what we do. Thanks, Kim

    I don't know if I will vote for Romney- but having looked at his position on issues, I do hope there are better outlooks. As for the attacks on his religion- his religion seems to be more of a credit to him than some of his personal opinions. As for the attacks they come from mis-educated, but nonetheless good people who have been taught to hate. Half-truths are rampant and slander equally abundant, but substantial criticism is very hard to come by.

    all this talk about the relative value of the morman churc, its tenats and beliefs is really immarterial. the Pope has just got finishe dreiterating the absolute truth that the Roman Catholic Church is the only true church. All others, including all so called protestant churches are not even religions in any sense of the word. therefore, what difference does it really make swhat the Mormmans or any other beliefs state, the truth will prevail.

    The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints does not endorse any canidate. We never have fund raisers or give money to a canidate. Members are free to choose who they wish to endorse and how. In our church we separate religon and politics just as Mitt Romney has tried to tell everyone. That is the truth! There are many Republicans and Democrats in office who are Mormons right now. They all have different views on how they believe things should be done in America but they all live their religon based on the teachings of Christ . I just want to say again Mormons do not endorse any canidates. Kim

    The Book of Mormon has been re-written exactly Zero times actually. I don't know where you get the idea that the book has been re-written. Are you Mormon? have you even read the book? I already know the answer, so it is best that ignorant people, like yourself, not comment on things they know exactly ZERO about....
