Here it is , October of 09 and Obama STILL isn't for real. We have teleprompter "it's gonna" "we're gonna" I'm gonna" and his ME,MY, I as he spends. Iraq is not concluded yet--just removed from press coverage. He was going to get the terrorists in Afgahnistan but now--NOPE! Stay tuned!
The health care bid isn't in writing..he wont share it on the web...and it's about lawyers making money any way! not health care!
Spend money! The economic stimulus didn't ,and cash for clunkers was a clunker way to stimulate or auto industry.
Cap and trade is a major tax to come! Only that and we now see ACORN was vote rigging on a grand scale! We only touched the tip of the iceberg on this!
Now he got the Nobel Peace prize and maybe he should give it to the person who really won it!
The Obamaprompter is a stuffed suit! More Americans will catch on in the months ahead!
HEY! Has anyone been saving our oil industry with tire gauges, out there? How's it working?

Another Community Organizer. If some one in the Obama administration had experience doing anything REAL it's possible N. Korea and Iran would not be saber sharpening and our economy a bit better off!
Why Americans want thier leaders to be Hollywood Star types is beyond me. But one thing that is for sure!
    They are VERY expensive!

I admire Mr. Favreau and his fortunate posisition. It would be a dream-come-true for me to give voice to the thoughts and beliefs of someone I regard as capable of helping our nation. I hope one day that I will.

I am fascinated by Jon Favreau's inputs and chemistry with the elected president of the US, Barack Obama. Their chemistry has recaptured the "power of words" reminiscent in the speeches of Lincoln, Jefferson, and JFK. Respectfully yours, Prof. Eduardo P. Garrovillas, Marketing chairman, Jose Rizal University, Philippines

Since Obama and Gov. Patrick are friends Obama surely heard Patrick give the just words speech at his inauguration. The first time he was caught, he said, "so I borrowed a few words from a friend. The second time, he said Gov. Patrick told me to use those words. However, if they were such good friends, why didn't he give his "friend" credit for the words. Incidentally they both has the same speech writer.

yearight....I went to the youtube link you posted below. I then researched the facts. Barack Obama's only error was in stating the wrong name of the concentration camp. His uncle helped to liberate Buchenwald, not Auschwitz. I don't see why this is such an issue. It isn't an exaggeration to say Auschwitz instead of Buchenwald....it isn't as though one concentration camp was worse than another, just more well known.

Comment: classy, megadeath, and so well composed. Are you expecting your Pulitzer anytime soon?
Seriously, posts like yours only serve to strengthen the opinion and resolve of every single person on the opposite end of the idealogical spectrum. You could TRY not to be such a stereotype...Mybe offer up a well considered and thoughtfully constructed piece that supports your argument. Instead, you devolve into name-calling, profanity, and homophobic bile (and not very good name-calling, profanity, and homophobic bile at that)
But thats OK, because I have come to understand that you and your ilk are simply trying to echo the venomous partisan chaff that you hear on A.M., but unfortunately your limited wit and childish rhetorical skill just will not allow you to reproduce such tripe effectively.
So, by all means, continue to spew your schwill and prove me right...I like being correct after after all.
Or maybe next time type with your head and actually add something to the discourse.

Obama has 63 Nobel Laureates working on his policy team. They are developing a plan to push America back to the top. Who is responsible for McCain's planning? Americans would be shocked to find that Douglas Holtz-Eakin is the sole person responsible for planning McCain's policy for America's future. Holtz-Eakin is also McCain's economic advisor, filling two full time positions on McCain's team. How can one single man (an economist) be responsible for developing a viable technology plan for our future? Obama has an enormous pool of the most intelligent, talented men and women in America working for him. Soon, they will be working for US.

And let's not forget that the McCain campaign spent more on Palin's makeup artist than it did on it's foreign policy advisor. When you pay your makeup artist DOUBLE what you pay your foreign policy advisor, it is time to start examining your priorities.

You look just fine without makeup, John. And Sarah is young enough not to need any. So cut the crap, and start paying some good ECONOMIC ADVISORS so you can have a fiscal plan to present to America. We're in the middle of a huge global financial meltdown, and you are worried about hair and makeup? PLEASE start worrying about the middle class, John. Please.

John McCain has been in government for 40 years and has done great so far. I trust him. Do you trust a man who would say this:

2001 Chicago Public Citizen Radio Interview criticizing the Warren Court as not radical enough for not pursuing redistribution of wealth.

Says that community organizing is for the purpose of assembling the political power to force redistribution of wealth.

    • Posted By: Nins @ 10/28/2008 4:13:15 PM

NowfortheTruth asserts that the goal of community organizing is to "redistribute wealth."

The real goal of community organizing is to assemble political power for those who historically have had none: the poor and minorities. Some community organizations exist to redress the fact that white banks have refused to loan money to black clients. If you want to call this "redistribution of wealth," go right ahead. The rest us will continue to call it racism.

And when it comes to discussing "redistribution of wealth" and calling Obama a socialist, it is time for you to rethink that strategy. You might be stepping into a huge pile of dog doo-doo, Now fortheTruth.

Did you see McCain on Meet the Press this Sunday? Tom Brokaw played two clips from 2001 and 2003 when McCain was against the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy. McCain sings the praises of "redistribution of wealth" and says "wealthy people can afford more taxes."

When McCain opposed the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, he said that he was taking a "principled stance." But when Obama opposes these same tax cuts, McCain labels Obama as a "socialist." Nice double standard, John.

The doo-doo gets deeper, Now for the Dog Stuff on my Hoof.

Here's a video in which Obama discusses fiscal responsibility. Anyone who cares about the economy should see it.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5d4a6RNhCUo

On this web page, you can calculate the amount of your TAX RELIEF under Obama's plan (This tax calculator is for personal income, not for businesses. Remember that if you itemize, your tax cut will be higher than what the calculator shows. However, Obama's new 1040EZ allows people to get credit for some itemizations without having to fill out the long form and schedules.)

You can get even more information on Obama's economic policies from the Blueprint for Change.

Nowforthetruth you state what has Obama run? There s a wealth of information regarding Obama'
career, you obviously dont care to see it. So lets look into mcCain a little bit..

MCCain has huge issues that wont go away!

The senior senator advocated and pushed hard for the Iraq War- an unneeded war based on GOP subversion and duplicity. You understand what this details- he was responsible for taking the nation into unecessary war based on fraudulence!

Another huge problem, in 26 years of senatorial work McCain was a huge voice for the deregulation of financial and business institutions.

In other words sir, McCain has his name all over the current economic/foreign crisis- in a pathetic way, he was pivitol in authoring the current melt-down!

And what leadership does he offer from his campaign- he slips a Trojan Horse into our nation, into our homes, into our lives better known as Sarah Palin.
She is more to "more to the right" than George "W" and Dick Cheney put together!
She is a self-righteous reactionary- we just had eight years of such a regime!

    Tuesday cant come soon enough!

It's interesting the mud that the GOP tries to drudge up when they are loosing. Obama didn't REALLY get into McCain's past. I can, I'm not running for office.

Keating 5, Iran Contra, he left his first wife to marry the woman he was cheating with (Cindy) not to mention his first wife was disabled.

Oh and do you want real "character building" names? Ok.
Scooter Libby, Charles Keating, Oliver North, and the list goes on...

and don't let me get started on his running mate... and the "Oh I'm just like you... aww shucks"...

Well, I'm from NJ and my wife hasn't campaigned for the succession of New Jersey recently...or been the part of a religious cult... or based my foreign policy experience to lead by the geographical distance of Russia to my house...

Again, we can trade shots... McCain's closet runneth over.

    It's ok Nowforthetruth...

Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States. I know it's a tough pill to swallow, but swallow you shall!!!
