It's been a year since John F. Kennedy Jr.'s plane went down, but that doesn't mean JFK Jr. has been allowed to rest in peace. Last week brought "nude photos" and "shocking secrets" from the tabloids. Now a controversial biography, "The Day John Died," is making headlines for alleging that pot and porn were among JFK Jr.'s hobbies. Can we believe Christopher Andersen when he admits he made up cockpit conversation from the fatal crash "for dramatic purposes"? Still, even the less salacious revelations are fascinating. The most heartbreaking: Andersen says Jackie Kennedy Onassis was plagued by premonitions that her son would die in a plane crash and pleaded with companion Maurice Tempelsman on her deathbed to prevent John from flying. The book dismisses rumors that the marriage was on the rocks--Children were in the near future," Andersen says--and that Caroline abused cocaine. Although he concludes that "the FAA was at least partially to blame" for the plane crash because the agency issued an allegedly erroneous weather forecast, Andersen predicts the Kennedys will settle with the Bessettes for $10 million. We predict no end to the Kennedy gossipmongering.

Can You Imagine Drew's Wedding Dress?

Gross-out comedian Tom Green is serious about at least one thing: Drew Barrymore. Hollywood's wackiest couple have announced plans to exchange wedding vows. Green, 28, and Barrymore, 25, have already made it through the sickness-and-health part: she slept by his side during his bout with testicular cancer earlier this year; he reportedly ministered to her tears throughout the notoriously troubled "Charlie's Angels" shoot. Could this be the beginning of the taming of the Drew?

Halle vs. Howie

Halle Berry plays a mutant named Storm in "X-Men," and she was certainly in character for her stormy appearance on "Live! With Regis Kathie Lee." After Howie Mandel (subbing for Rege, who was on jury duty) joked that Berry had crashed into him backstage and "left the scene," Berry almost did just that. Guest Robert Wuhl was rushed onstage while producers tried to persuade the very peeved Berry not to leave. When she did take the stage, Berry openly clashed with Mandel over his reference to her recent hit-and-run car accident. "To be joked about almost to your face, that's a hard thing to rise above today," Berry said. Guess Mandel is out of the running for the Kathie Lee job.
