in one sense, Hillary is a real pro- she has always known exactly what to do to get her way. this is just another example. maybe she was really emotional, but the point is that she would gladly fake it to get more publicity and votes. the most genuine person out there was and remains Obama, who happens to be the least experienced. coincidence..... i don't think so

I'M NOT SO SURE THE TEARS WERE REAL! SEEMS TO BE PLAYING TO THE CAMERAS. SO TO SPEAK. AN ACT OF SOMEONE TRAILING IN THE POLLS! WHERE'S THAT OSCAR? HAD TO GET IN THE MENTION OF EXPERIENCE AND READINESS TO HOLD THE PRESIDENCY. I SUBMIT, THERE EXISTS A WEALTH OF AVAILIABLE EXPERIENCE, ADVICE, OPINIONS, AND LEADERS WHO HAVE MUCH TO DO WITH FOREIGN POLICY FROM WHICH ALL PRESIDENTS HAVE RELIED ON. OUR LEGISLATORS WILL ADVISE AND INFORM, INVESTIGATE, EVALUATE, AND GIVE RECOMENDATIONS TO OUR PRESIDENT. A TRUE LEADER ONE WHO IS "READY" WILL UTILIZE THESE RESOURCES TO MAKE AN EDUCATED DECISION. OUR COUNTRY NEEDS A LEADER WITH A NEW VISION. A VISION FOR CHANGE AND THE PASSION TO TAKE US THERE! NOT MORE POLITICS, SATUS QUO AND SELF SERVING INTRESTS. THE UP HILL ROAD NEEDS A DRIVER WITH THE STRENGTH TO TAKE US TO THE TOP! OBAMA IS THAT DRIVER!

has anyone actually read the article or watched the video? i didn't see her cry, i saw her get welled up a little. so what? we all do, especially when we talk about something that we're passionate about. and my god, are there seriously people out there that are so ill informed and ignorant enough to like GWB still? he has committed TREASON by outing a CIA agent, kind of a big deal. and lets not play dumb, yes, he did have something to do with outing Valerie Plame, and yes, she was a REAL CIA agent. GWB is an AWOL coward who started a war for oil and power, risking the lives of our soldiers, learn to look at the real story! do a little research, that would require you to get off your butt and actually care about your country enough to take the time.

You need to get your head out of your tail. Perhaps a good start is to stop believing the left-biased, elitist media and do some research, then be objective because apparently you've been buying all the bs. Valerie Plame? Sure there were no self-serving reasons for this whole farce. Yet Reid and Pelosi and Kennedy want to see a tape of interrogations and I'm sure they would never expose classified info. Remember Sandy Berger (or is it burglar) - theft and destruction of confidential documents ----- all a joke because of Dems misinformation, misrepresentations, double standards and lies and yet you and those like you still buy it!!! Fact is all of you Libs, Dems view our country's glass as "half empty" because it's the only way you can sell it to the "hangers-on", un-/undereducated, uninformed, etc.. Just ask these types who the Sec of Defense is, who the US Chief Justice is, who represents them in Congress you may be surprised - but probably not. They prey on people like you. The Clintons are no longer relevant nor should they be. They are "serial liars" who will say and do anything, pander to anyone, to be anointed.
If those 16 Independents - in a sense even more so the 14 women who can be swayed by a several minute performance after so many years - bought this act I'm embarrassed for them.

the problem is because she is trying to play the "you cant pick on a woman" card. Then turns around and says not to be treated like a woman and acts so cold and unwoman like. You cannot have it both ways.. act one way and don't try to have it both ways.

Yes people because Gorge Bush has done such a better job. Some peolpe sound a little scared.

Hillary having lost the election today comes as a MAJOR shock to the Clintonista's

In less than half a day, Clinton has sealed her fate. Nobody wants a president who sits there whining tears of SELF PITY due to losing and being a loser. Even Sore-Loserman didn't cry when he lost. Although his entire party bawled like a bunch of spoiled brats.

Hillary's entire teary premise was this: "If you don't vote for me and if I AM NOT THE PRESIDENT, then the nation will go backwards and the entire nation is lost unless ME - QUEEN HILLARY, is the annointed one in the white house. ME! ME! ME! What arrogance!

Trust us Hillary and all your little supporters - America will do quite nicely without you and your ilk around. Ta-tah! BUH-BYE!

Would you go to someone who had no experience to operate on you or a loved one in a do or die situation? This country has lost all respect from every country and leader in the years under Mr. Bush and it will take an experienced person to make this country what it was and then somel. This country needs a leader that has experience and knows what she is doing.

Those are crocodile's tears if ever I've seen any. It was an Oscar caliber performance, I'll give her that.

    • Posted By: zofo @ 01/08/2008 12:09:33 AM

give her a cigar instead... OOPS!!! Bill gave it to monica. It was probably the smoke of Bill's cigar as he played with Monica that got into Billary's eye that made her cry!!!

  • Posted By: SpeakUp @ 01/07/2008 11:45:46 PM

Don't you love all these Clintonista's who whine about the US supposedly "falsely invading other countries" and then these same Clintonista's say; and oh, by the way "vote for our candidate Hitlery" who voted to authorize "invading other countries" (along with hundreds of other DEMOCRAT Congressional Representatives).

Face it - Hitlery has lost and she was taken out by her very own party and the oh-so-important independent vote. Hitlery will NEVER be president. Its time you faced up to that fact. That's it....let it sink in... And that in itself is a major victory for ALL Americans!

    • Posted By: soldier247 @ 01/08/2008 12:08:10 AM

falsely invading other countries? what more proof do you need? or have you even stopped to listen to anyone else besides FauX News. as a former soldier, i can say this. GWB is an AWOL coward. I am proud to have served this country and its nice to see that we've come far enough that a woman, who teared up (not cried), can run for president and at the same time scare the crap out of ignorant white males who are controlled by fear. I served, and my brother is serving in one of the most dangerous parts of Iraq, so i take this election very seriously, and this country. we deserve much better than this dangerous moron we have now. dont let the bush administrations fear tactics and manipulation keep you from making an INFORMED decision. Informed being the operative word.

America has turned against the Clintons by an overwhelming majority. It's over. There will never be another Clinton presidency. Time for those who are still in shock and disbelief to come to grips with that fact. Your time is over. America has moved on past you and your broken delusions and broken dreams. And you are stuck in the past still thinking you can party like its 1992-1999... Wow, must really suck to be a Clintonista. All the corruption, greed, criminality and crookedness of the Clintonista era has finally come home to roost in the most fitting way.

  • Posted By: hbpaslay @ 01/08/2008 12:01:05 AM

How can anyone believe this garbage? HIllary just wants what is best for her country. Yeah, right. All Hillary has ever wanted is what's best for Hillary. I am sure this was a set up question, just like she as been caught doing before. She is falling so far behind they had to bring out the really big guns. Really this is nothing more than Hillary once again playing the victim role. Poor ole well-meaning and mis-treated Hillary.

  • Posted By: Not duped by Dems @ 01/07/2008 11:56:59 PM

Oh please! The Clintons are serial liars. They are not to be believed as everything they do is contrived. And while those with any objectivity can see right through all of their machinations, it's unbelievable how much of the naive American voting public actually buys it after so many years. Hillary has accomplished nothing, zero....she will say and do anything, as the situation dictactes, to get people to believe her pandering and rhetoric. If all 16 independent potential voters - in a sense particularly the 14 women since she is pandering to females - responded as Jane Harrington did, we (as a country) are in trouble because so many refuse to acknowledge their naivete. More trouble because Democrats continue to see the glass as "half empty" and will use misrepresentations, innuendo, double standard and straight out lies to prey on the naivete of their Democratic (especially liberal) constituency - hangers-on, elitists, etc. They prey on young, un-/undereducated and those otherwise unprepared for the responsibility that goes with the right to vote. Ask any of these who, for instance, is the Chief Justice, Secretary of Defense, their own Congressional reps, etc are and you'd be surprised - or maybe not!
The Clintons particularly are no longer relevant nor should they be. Can you be duped????

All I hear is excuses from mac2007. The point is if she can't handle running for president what makes you think she can do the job. Look at Bush, he has been punched so many times I can't believe he is still hanging from the gym's ceiling. This will hurt hillary because personally I want a commander and chief who is calm and collective. Already breaking down are you serious. Cry to your husband not the world. You represent one of the strongest countries in the world on all sides of the spectrum.

    • Posted By: mac2007 @ 01/07/2008 11:55:43 PM

Somebody shows a little bit more emotion doesn't mean she/he cannot run the country.

We are human being. It is funny before when Hillary hasn't cried, Hillary haters consider she is cold; now she showed her emotion, Hillary haters either thought it was not sincere or it was manufactured.

Hillary cannot do right in front of these hateful people.

I actually have supported Obama all along (you can check my previous postings), but I just cannot stand this type of imass hysteria of hatred towards Hillary. Even though we may not vote for Hillary, it is bad taste to be so cruel and brutal towards someone even though it is only verbally.

  • Posted By: Easttexasgal @ 01/07/2008 11:42:06 PM

Personally I think it was a sham...and it will come back to bite her in the butt...who wants a President that cries...but I gues there are "some" bleeding hearts out there that will eat it up...GOD help us if that woman is ever President!

    • Posted By: soldier247 @ 01/07/2008 11:55:34 PM

well, i didnt actually see her cry, but twist it however you want. i guess a woman who is so passionate about something that she tears up is more important to voters than a President who messes up on a daily basis, literally. and then theres the kind of important stuff, like having no soul by going AWOL in your younger days and then stealing and election and starting a war for oil and power, putting REAL soldiers lives in danger, while families mourns the loss of their brave soldier.. but, im sure you have more important things to worry about. hows your health insurance by the way? did you know it could be at no cost to you and it will be just as good. did you know in other countries they have FREE higher education? wow, what a concept. stop living in a box.

  • Posted By: WithGrace @ 01/07/2008 11:52:30 PM

There is great strength in allowing your emotions to show with dignity. It's refreshing to witness a great leader with the courage to remind us all that we are human and that we are all fighting for the same cause.

Now you know Hillary will use any methods to get elected. If using old feminine weapon helps, then she will gladly use it, despite what gender feminists say about women being strong and brave, and blah, blah,....It was an act worthy of Golden globe award.nomination.

    • Posted By: Maria24 @ 01/07/2008 11:48:34 PM

"Old feminine weapons" hmmm sounds like a chauvinist to me. cliche

Hillary is losing the race and she just wants all of us to let her run the show. The last thing we need in a democracy is for two families to control the white house for three decades. By the way many a president who drank the original coke did more then a line wake up and stop living on fantasy island. Barack in 08 rocks!

Go Hillary! I urge all women to think about this scenario.............sexism is being played out on a national stage. A strong, experienced, knowledgable woman who is an equal to any man is being characterized as cranky, cold, stern bla bla bla. We know too well that those same terms would be replaced with strenghth, toughness and wisdom if it was a man. I urge women to vote for Hillary and not allow the sexist, bias attitudes played out to this extend. It is experience folks that this country need. A vote for Obama is a vote for all his behind the scene top advisors who will actually run this country due to his lack of experience. Thus, a vote for Obama is a vote for an unknown army of politicians that are running levers from behind the curtain. Let your vote count, vote HIllary and vote for the dilligent and hard work that the country deserves in the next administration.

It was proof of her passion and commitment to serving the American people. She won me over!

    • Posted By: 2001snake @ 01/07/2008 7:54:48 PM

Me TOO! More people should listen to the entire interview on CNN in the morning.

Give the lady a cigar!!! OOps !! Bill gave it to Monica. sorry billary. It was probably the smoke off one of Bill's smoke screens that got in her eye that made her cry. You Dumb Suckers!!!!!

I'M NOT SO SURE THAT THE DISPLAY OF EMOTION WAS REAL! SEEMS TO ME AN ACT OF A PERSON TRAILING IN THE POLLS, PLAYING TO THE CAMERA!! SO TO SPEAK. SOME DISCUSS OBAMA'S LACK OF EXPERIENCE AND ASK IS HE READY TO HOLD THE POSITION FOR WHICH HE RUNS. I WOULD CALL YOUR ATTENTION TO THE MANY EXPERIENCED LEGISLATORS FROM WHICH ALL PRESIDENTS HAVE RELIED ON FOR ADVICE, INFORMATION, OPINIONS, MORAL AND PARTY SUPPORT, WHEN MAKING IMPORTANT DECISIONS. OUR COUNTRY NEEDS CHANGE AND A NEW DIRECTION NOT MORE POLITICS! WE NEED A PERSON WITH A NEW VISION AND THE PASSION TO TAKE US THERE!
