Hillary is losing the race and she just wants all of us to let her run the show. The last thing we need in a democracy is for two families to control the white house for three decades. By the way many a president who drank the original coke did more then a line wake up and stop living on fantasy island. Barack in 08 rocks!
Change the words, change the actions, change the thoughts, a change of pace that can change the world!

I've liked Hillary Clinton from the very beginning, she did an amazing job at the New Hamphire debate and even more amazing with this interview. She is real, she is strong, she is human. I believe she is the one and only person that is qualified to be president. She is right about being the most experienced, even Michael Moore couldn't say that many bad things about her. She has always stood up for our country. Some of these so called American people can be so negative and ignorant, wake up.... you are the people that have voted Bush in, and helped run our country into the ground...literally.

As an outsider, being in Australia, I don't think there was anything disingenuous regarding Hilary Clnton's tears. It is a trait of women to show their emotion more than men, which in itself is not a bad thing. No acting - she was genuinely tired and emotionally worn out from the Obama onslaught. That it happened so early in the primaries is a worry since Bill Clinton, previously, battled away from an early setback before going on to win the Democratic nomination.

Obama has remained composed and articulate at all times even though trailing badly in the weeks ahead of Idaho. A man who expresses himself in the way that he does and provides a vision for a new America would be feared from the Republican side of politics. He just doesn't talk the talk as many thinks he does - his words express a mind that clearly is in command of what is the right policy for America. His words offer a new way and Hilary, no less determined in seeing America as a strong but caring country able to look after its own, clearly cannot match his vision or at least put it into words. Obama is intelligent, an American, not a black American, and a clear leader who can inspire, like John Kennedy and can lead the nation on to greater things. This, I think, Hilary can't do, since despite her great assets, she somehow cannot inspire young America to follow behind her like Obama can. He, clearly, is the person to take America on to a new kind of greatness, one that is respected throughout the world and feared by the opponents of democracy and the sponsors of evil.

Idiots....... I'm not a big Hillary fan, but we should be emotional about this country just look at it ! We need somebody who knows how to make decisions and obama isn't it. If you want people like jackson and sharpton to gain ground , then you go ahead and elect obama...........

Obama has not sought Jackson's or Sharpton's backing. Racist comment!!!

Do you really want this person to be our next President? You got to be kidding me.

I think, withouth a doubt, Hillary Clinton is the most devious, evil person running for President. She is a socialist and wants control of the largest purse strings in the world. I was just listening to "related news" and they asked if the clinton's were going to go negative? Hello, wake up. She has been negative on more than one occasion. As for experience, being married to the president is not experience. My wife couldn't do my job just because she's married to me. She's been to work with me, I've talked extensively about my job, but she couldn't do it without training.

For your information...Hillary did more than just follow her husband around! She also had an office in Washington! My brother worked in her office and has had nothing but POSITIVE things to say about her work ethics and beleif on what America needs, I think that you may need to do a little more research and maybe look into getting a wallet. I am really getting tired about hearing you talk about purses.

Tears do no impress me one bit. The president of the United States of America cannot break down crying at the first sign of defeat. We need someone who can stay composed and strong in the face of a challenge. Male or female, you have to maintain control to reach your goals.

  • Posted By: Passionate @ 01/07/2008 11:08:40 PM

And what the hell is wrong with being emotional? Did any of these writers and critics every once consider that they also might be tears of utter frustration...especially in a society that devalues anyone over 50 and FEMALE? It sure must be painful breaking the glass ceiling; Clinton's opponents may as well be be cutting her with a blade of glass. She lives in this country, too. What is wrong with being passionate about one's feelings? Grow up, America!

It's all about Queen Hillary and her "predestined right" to rule. When you cry for yourself and your bruised ego because you have lost - it is less than admirable.

Face it Clintonistas, America has rejected both you AND Hillary - and that's what's really sticking in your craw! And we all know it!

I think democratic voters have a real problem. Hillary Clinton is not an agent for change, as she is seen as an insider. Barack Obama, as charismatic as he is, may be the least qualified of all the top democratic candidates. He's a first term senator who has already broken his promise to fulfill his term in the senate. Look, we're going to get "change" one way or the other. For the first time in a long time an incumbent is not running.runningtime in a long time

You can't even spell (because) extremist . But the real point is, don't try to justify for what you just said it is just wrong and ignorant. ONLY EXTREMIST like yourself would think the way you do! USMC

If qualified like John McCain who would have us in constant conflicts abroad, all the while ignorning the social crises we face here, than no thank you.

If qualified like Rudy Guiliani... who happened to be the Mayor on 9/11 and nothing more, who also was 'Da Mayor' in '93 when the twin towers were bombed, yet opted to position the Emergency Response inside the building hence the disaster on 9/11... and um Police Chief Bernard Kerrick anyone... no thank you.

If experience means Hillary Rodham Clinton whose political baggage has created a history of strained relationships with the already polarized Congress... um... no thank you.

P.S. I'm a woman and I want a woman President. It's time for the women of the United States to stand up and be represented by a woman. It's time for the hard-working women of this country to sound our voices together. I'm not talking about the ridiculously rich likes of Oprah Winfrey who can throw her money behind Obama (has anyone figured out that a common COLOR is her motivation? - and it's not the color Purple and it's not about change, it about RACE. Shame on you, Oprah, for turning your back on the Clintons). I'm talking about the women who go to work, work hard, have babies, raise a family, clean the house, and scrape by day-by-day. Who can understand them better than another woman? It's time for a woman to be President of this country and it's time for all of us women to understand what a golden opportunity we have to elect a woman as talented as Hillary Clinton is. We may not have another candidate of her caliber for a long time, and we need to seize this opportunity and run with it. how her our respect for the fine, decent, upstanding, intelligent person that she is. This is our time, women of America -this is our candidate. Help her to reach our goals for the betterment of all of us. Vote for Hillary Clinton!

It's about time this country woke up and smelled the coffee. There is only one candidate in this election. Hillary Clinton is the only person REALLY qualified to help the USA!

It???s not an issue of Black or White, female or male. Its an issue of a mass of people, the same people's who keep this Country going, the same people???s who???s families will now pay for a war we should have never started for generations to come. Even though, we are at the brinks of collapse and the person best suited to pick up the pieces and begin the process of putting this Great Country back together again. Regaining the respect we lost, by falsely invading other countries and forcing our beliefs upon them. What happened to Osama? What happened to due process? Innocent until proven guilty? Does that not apply beyond our borders? Hypocrites!!!
We are in for a rough road ahead! Who is to blame? Not I, my little voice means nothing without the populace, and I believe we have already spoken, to dull ears.
You reap what you sow, God Bless us, for our elected leaders mistakes. Hillary is our greatest hope of earning back our reputation back and showing the World???All Great Leaders, don???t always have to be men, maybe all it takes is the compassion of a Lady???A lady with Class, a Lady in charge of a Great Nation, willing to turn the other cheek???for peace! Let???s learn from our mistakes, before our mistakes send us into ruin.

Dear Silent America- Shut Up. "All blacks" claim that stuff as much as "all whites" are as pompous and ignorant as you are. Plus, racism is alive and thriving- read a history book and realize slavery actually wasn't that long ago relatively and in the big picture, things take time to heal- longer than your mind may be able to understand. You're "all blacks are like this" attitude is a precise example of the racism some black people are referring to.
Also, on the Hillary note I can say I lost a lot of respect for Obama (who I was behind solidly before the recent debate) in that male tag-team motive he pulled with Edwards. This is not only because Edwards seems full of empty rhetoric, (he takes things so "personally" I wonder if he can really have a cool head in office...), but because I saw a side of him that did not seem so diplomatic and accepting of differences after all and it became a convenient escape from HIllary's questions. I still remain undecided between Obama and Clinton because of this. And Richardson seems like maybe not ripe for president, but is a much needed voice in our Energy Department.

got to go. you know, they say the IRS takes your paycheck for the first 5 or 6 months of the year, then you get to keep the rest. Maybe I should take Jan-May off. Wonder if Hitlary will give me some welfare and healthcare. Maybe I should just become a politician. She made the statement that people like her do what they do because they love this country. she loves the control. night all

Hillary's tears were for herself. And I don't blame her, campaigning is tough. And she has the right. But the tears were shed for HER, not for America.

  • Posted By: nurse 92 @ 01/07/2008 11:19:45 PM

Bill Clinton earned the reputation of low moral conduct while in our white house and has a tattered and stained past that does not sit wel with women who are undecided. Hillary talks the same crap. She does not even register on my honest and trustworthiy scale. So why would I consider giving her my vote? I am undecided at this point but she is losing ground fast! She would love nothing better than to play dirty politics just as she did when Bill was running but is afraid that tactic would show just what she is all about.

good point coldstone-lajolla. crocodile tears. just as dangerous too, because if you get too close she'll take a bite out of ya.

Oh yes... Go Obama!!! And when the going gets tough... by all means, feel free to snort a line of cocaine! Party like a ROCKSTAR!

    • Posted By: coldstone-lajolla @ 01/07/2008 11:19:09 PM

At least he admitted to doing it - not that story - I did not enhale (either Clinton lied-again- or showed his true colors by going with the prevailing populas idea or in recent history the polls. He and his selfish wife are only in this thing to keep their legacy alive - it is time for change and I honestly think that McCain is the only person fit to lead us as an independent - I am going for the mavrick...
