Hillary belongs in the kitchen baking cookies. She needs to just shut up and sit down. Everyone is tired of her and the dislike for her is only growing. She has shown she doesn't have what it takes. Very few do and she's not one of them no matter how much she thinks being president is her "right". She is NOT a uniter in any sense of the word, she is simply another shrill, meglomaniac, self absorbed power-mad bureauCRAT.

Don't know about baking cookies- she would most likely "burn" them like she has done with everything else she has her fingerprints on.....It is not about male or female, black or white--it is about being competent to lead our Great Nation! I hope and pray that we have someone who can do this...Not for sure who to vote for yet- but I know it will NOT be Hillary C......

You are right. She is not fit for the job in my eyes because I don't even know where she really stands on any issues. She voted for Iraq, but now wants to start withdrawing. It sounds like she can't make up her mind. We need a president that will stand up for what is right, period!!!! Even if it is not the most popular opinion. USMC

And saying she belongs in the kitchen making cookies makes you...what? Way to flex your man muscles!

He had a good statement until the baking cookies crap. Hillary belongs on the afternoon soaps after that performance. Would've meant more if it had been done several days ago but not the night before the vote. Nice acting job.

Passionate, give us a break. This country is made up of people of a wide variety of sex/age/race/height/weight/etc. People with drive and determination make it. Not because they are a man or a woman, black or white or indian or mexican, etc. Your argument carries about as much water as people saying Bonds is picked on because he's black. What about Tiger Woods, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Denzel Washington, Hank Aaron, ................the list is endless. When people stand up and do for themselves, they have a strong chance of success. I come from a family that had nothing. I'm not a millionaire, but my income exceeds 100k per year. Because I had the drive to go to college and work my tail off.

  • Posted By: chargersfan @ 01/07/2008 7:25:05 PM

OHHHHH GIMME A BREAK>....she doesn't want to see our nation reverse??? With tears in her eyes...she doesn't care about anyone but herself and seeing her cry nearly makes me throw up. She is ice cold and never shows emotion unless there is something in it for her: meaning a bunch of women sitting at her knee who she can benefit from by showing she is 'human' and cry. OH BROTHER she is a sham!!!! Showing her crying in public is just for sympathy votes. She doesn't care about this country anymore than she care for Bush. Nothing ever about anything but HILARY and what it can do for her!!!!! You've done exactly what she wants....to hit Women voters and make them think she has a heart and CARES...she doesn't fool me! You should be ashamed of yourself if you fell for this!!!

and who are the other candidates for...do you think that all of the other candidates are running entirely for the US citizenry...are you telling me that all the other candidates are completely selfless and not frothing at the mouth for a chance to be called President, Commander-In-Chief and the likes...have you researched what the other candidates are for or are you just saying something just to say it without having all the fact on any and all of the candidates aside of what the media fed you...I seriously doubt it...as I have posted before...I challenge every single person in here to check out each and every candidate and their issues-not just read their websites-check their voting records, check their records as governors if appropriate, check to see what they have done aside of politics, are they involved in organizations that stand for something, are they or have they ever been out there working for something that benefits others...after all that research is done then and only then you are able to make statements about any candidates level of self servitude or selflessness...I hope you take my challenge instead of blindly walking into the voting booth with your nose nicely planted in the behind of the sheep directly in front of you...although our research abilities about candidates and issues could be largely affected by the lovely Patriot Act-designed to largely limit a persons right to do such things under the pretext of homeland security...lets as a country and people make sure that something never takes place again where our rights are trampled on and the big brother is watching us...

Voting this year is as easy as ABC - Anyone But Clinton.

  • Posted By: gooze610 @ 01/07/2008 11:12:11 PM

There's nothing wrong with a "tearing" up; we should all be in tears with the mess this country is in; at least she shows passion.

  • Posted By: coldstone-lajolla @ 01/07/2008 11:11:06 PM

The real story is Hillary shows emotion - not during a 9-11 ceremony, not during Katrina - but when it is her own self intrests. Sounds Selfish to me. Obama or McCain anyone??

  • Posted By: kenshinoro @ 01/07/2008 11:10:32 PM

I never make posts..but honestly..she is the most insincere person I have ever seen. Crying makes her human??? More like its her desperate last ditch effort to pull the wool over the foolish and naive women and liberals in this country. I don't care who wins..just not Hillary..she will ruin this country and we are already falling behind so far in health care, education, morals... Anyone but Hillary...anyone.

As long as "Slick Willy" (Bill Clinton) is associated with Hillary, no woman can forgive or forget what the Clinton White House stood for. Sex and Lies!!

He may be the most popular Democrate but that popularity is tattered and stained!

  • Posted By: herbgirlID @ 01/07/2008 11:09:16 PM

I see nothing wrong with crying when you are truly touched or upset by something. But we all know that in the Clinton family, Bill cries, not Hillary. I watched her at that event, and I have never seen a more ridiculous, calculated display of emotion. Can't you see the conversation that took place the night before? "Okay, I'm too stiff. The American people want more emotion from me. Crying! How does crying poll? Someone get Penn on the phone and find out how crying polls!" Just another reinvention of Hillary Clinton...now she's soft and human, not really the b*tch in charge we've all seen for the last 15+ years. Come on , people! You cannot be falling for this! I'm sure the tears were real, but they were for her soon-to-be-lost legacy, not the American dream.

Why is she crying? Could it be a cry for desperation? She figures her campaign is already dead in the water, so why not try to cry and see if it'll get her anywhere? That's pretty desperate. Also, what is she going to do when they tell her that Pakistan is ready to bomb us. Is she going to cry then too? What is her problem? I want a president that is strong, active, and composed. I thought she was a strong-break-through-the-glass-ceiling woman. Apparantly cutting through the glass hurts and makes her cry. Get a bandaid and move on and out of this race. This race is tough like our country and we don't need a crybaby. Leave that to the republicans when they lose to the Barack Obama. And by the way to "i've had enough" yes you, I don't see Obama crying, he's got hope not desperation.

WOW! I am blown away by the amount of ill-informed, angry nonsense on this forum. Hillary is experienced because she has been in the Senate. And how exactly is she a socialist? How do YOU define the term so that she is a socialist? These sorts of forums make me embarrassed to be an American because so few people read and so many get their "information" from television and hate radio.

BullSh** to the previous three comments here - Hillary Clinton is the most honest human being in this election. She has campaigned well, she has, and will continue, to work hard and to push herself past the exhaustion point for what she believes in very strongly. The reporter's question was a question to the heart of her Self, and whenever anyone - male or female - reaches into that place the tears well up, it's a normal and human/humane reaction. Thanks to the frozen emotional state of both George Bush and his baby boy Shrub, this country is on the brink of major major trauma - Ms Clinton is correct in her assessment that we will be moving backward if we elect yet another boy's club member or one of these religious nuts. The constitution is very clear on the separation of Church and State, and to even consider electing a fundamentalist (and 'mental' is the accurate part of this word) non-thinker is incredibly foolish, and altho Obama seems to be a decent fellow, he hasn't enough experience and he is more of the same ol' same ol'.

    NO more-
    Hillary Clinton dynasty,
    John McCain's Politics of Fear,
    John Edward's Politics of Convenience,
    Corrupted Health Industry.

    ITS SICKENING.

!!! ITS TIME FOR CHANGE !!!

Hillary Clinton and John Edwards Voted for War on Iraq.
Barack Obama opposed this and he was right.

Hillary Clinton supported Bush on aid to Pakistan for wrong reasons.
Barack Obama opposed this and he was right.

John Edwards is using populist theme for convenience in this election and is a big hypocrite.
Remember that John Edwards was a Trial Lawyer, worked for a Hedge Fund Company and has 28000 sq ft mansion and $1200 hair cuts.

Barack Obama is a community organizer from the beginning and is honest person and refused to be a Trial Lawyer.

BARACK OBAMA's JUDGEMENT TRIUMPHS OVER HILLARY CLINTON'S WRONG EXPERIENCE.

BARACK OBAMA'S HONESTY TRIUMPHS OVER JOHN EDWARDS'S HYPOCRISY.

BARACK OBAMA'S POLITICS OF HOPE TRIUMPHS OVER JOHN MCCAIN'S POLITICS OF FEAR.

!!! VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA !!!

Too late??? After only really one meaningless vote.... Sounds like yet more political writers with alterior motives feel like it's time to take their best shot at the number one threat. She's clearly the most intelligent and experienced candidate. Furthermore, her refusal to give the public the ballsey, impulisve, yet ignorant answers they've received to questions on the issues for the past 7 years should be applauded. Obama lacks leadership experience and was stammering on the morning shows this morning when pressed to answer her point about his stance on the issues. He could only direct attention back to her. Maybe the public just needs more writers that value her careful consideration on realistic stances on the issues. Or has the public not had enough of cadidates that say what we want to hear only to do what they really want to later? Quick draw Magraws ready to lead allright.....lead us into morally bankrupt wars. It's time to vote for intelligence and experience.

My repeated venomous comments? Socialism is passe' (um, isn't a passee what one might give a small child, short for pacifier?). So hannokirk, are you the police for this forum? Maybe you are vying for a position on the hillary express? Am I in danger of being thrown into the klink? Hitlary is a socialist. Hitlary is a socialist. I can't say it enough. She is a venomous snake that wants to take the money I earn and give it to those who don't/won't work. Hitlary is a socialist.
