Do we really want a president who cries when the going gets tough? Hillary is a lost cause. If she were to win the party nomination the Republicans would have a field day and it would be a blowout come election time. Though, I don't see any dem being able to win anyway. Hillary doesn't stand a chance. And Obama is only slightly more likely to stand a chance. Republicans will win the Presidency again in 2008....thankfully.

If Repuglicans want to win the White House they'll need to start campaigning for it. So far all they are doing is fighting over the soul of the broken and discarded corpse of the GOP. Huckleberry is the GOP's equivalent of Jimmy Carter, Romney is just as phoney and made-up as his religion, and Rudy is a NY queer trying to prove his manhood. That leaves you with McCain, and elder version of Elmer Fudd. The GOP is a joke, a sick, disgusting, pitiful joke.

CrabbyGolightly could have been a political consultant! The advice she doled out to Hillary just today: Cry! Then people will see behind your robot facade. Perhaps it should not be surprising that a nation that would elect the most shallow, insensitive president in US history would balk at the the thought of a presidential candidate openly and impulsively displaying her passion for her country. A nation that would elect a little man, a gunslinger who needs to make war not peace in order to prove himself a big man no matter what it costs - well that nation is not likely to elect a compassionate woman who would seek world alliances and an end to wars.

reporter: How wil you deal with terrorist?
Hillary: "Those silly boys should get a spanking... (sobbing) Why would anybody want to hurt America?"

Oh brother!! Hillary and Bill will do whatever it takes to win an election. The lady has been so insincere in the past why should we believe her. Whaaah, she is losing. Boo hoo. The democrats will tax us to death. I work way too hard for my money to be taxed so heavily. I have to live on a strict budget, why shouldn't the government. Pork spending needs to be cut and this b.s. about sticking random pork into bills at the last minute is a slap in every taxpayer's face. Bill and Hillary I say no way! Not a chance in hell . You stole the silverware that I paid for as a taxpayer on your way out of the whitehouse. What will you steal from me next. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice.....I CAN'T AFFORD IT!!

This is so contrived and phoney!! Am I the only one who isn't fooled about the help and coaching she has received from Hollywood on how to "act"??!! She wants so desperately to appear likeable - everything to her is a cold and calculated move. If you study her speach patterns during this little "show" that she put on, and compare it to all of her other speaches, you will see that this is a phony and staged moment. Just more proof that she will say and do anything just to be in a position of power - very dangerous!! Fortunately, her acting just isn't good enough to convince educated people that she is sincere. At least John Kerry, whether you like him or not, is a real human being and showed true emotion!

***Don't see how being first lady give you any REAL qualifications **** My point exactly. No one could consider my wife an 'expert' in my profession simply by virtue of being married to me. Prior to her 8 years as Senator, she nevery even held the post of city councilman. 8 years of 'experience' is all she's got.. I resent her trying to scam people otherwise.

If you take a look back through history you'll see black men elected senators first 1870 vs 1932 for women. receiving the right to vote before women (With the 14th and 15th amendment for black men and the 19th amendment for women). So I really don't see why everyone is so surprised. I've always said we would have a black men as president before a women. Sad really.

This is not a "Muskie Moment", this is a person who cares deeply about our counrty, campaigning exhaustively, frustrated that Americans can not or will not see the realitiy of the dangerous directions this nation is headed for. How many of you think the terrorist threat is real, but being handled by corrupt old guys that want to make a fortune off the lives of our children? We can handle this threat in more intelligent and diplomatc ways. How many of you pay taxes but don't have decent healthcare? Don't be so damn afraid to open your eyes, read between the lines, look at how other countries take care of their own people without profit being their god. Ms. Clinton has experience integrity and ideas that I'm embarrassed to say most Americans are afraid of. What a shame if she does'nt win.............................

Shows weakness. Is she trying to get votes by people feeling pity for her ?????

  • Posted By: coot1919 @ 01/07/2008 5:52:10 PM

Just what we need. A President who cries when it gets a bit tough. This is a PRIMARY and she's already choking back the tears. What's going to happen to her when she has to deal with Russia, North Korea, and the mess in the Middle East?
Great Britian, Israel, India, and Pakistan have all had GREAT female heads-of-state in the past generations.
Hillary just doesn't have what it takes!

This is a woman that has face lost of diversities in her life, and still is standing. I like Obama, but he is 100% pro choice and I am not pro choice. Yes Hillary is also pro choice, but as a woman she will weigh the pros and cons of a situation and decide on the best road to take. I believe that I would vote for either Hillary or Huckabee because I am independent, and have not decided yet. BUt I must tell you this woman has what it takes to be President of USA.

I believe Hillary's open display of emotion is not a sign of weakness, she knows the damage our current president has done to our precious country. And she has a plan to right his wrongs, with out presidency her compassion will not prevail. And I believe Hillary Clinton is what we need to change a struggle US.

It seemed like a real moment and felt real - I thought I was seeing the real Hillary. She lost me at the end though with the 'And as tired as I am - and I am...." that felt scripted and all I could think of was the plants that have been in her audience. I'm still behind Hillary, but she needs to do what she did in NY (and as a New Yorker I have seen it happen in her Senate races) and really show the country that she can be as "real" as Obama. I enjoy what he has to say and he's inspirational, but I really believe we need experience in the White House next year and I just don't think Mr. Obama has that at this time. Maybe in a few years, but as of right now, I still think Hillary is our best bet. But she needs to show the country her human side. She can be tough and still be human.

IT IS GRATIFYING TO SEE SO MANY COMMENTS FROM OTHERS WHO WERE NOT FOOLED BY HILLARY'S PERFORMANCE. BUT LOOK AT OBAMA, WHAT HAS HE DONE? WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENS TO THESE JUNIOR SENATORS WHEN THEY FIRST GET TO WASHINGTON. THE SENIOR SENATORS TAKE THEM ASIDE AND LET THEM KNOW IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS THAT IF THEY WANT TO ADVANCE AT ALL IE: COMMITTEES ETC. THEY HAD BETTER TOW THE LINE. THE PARTISAN LINE AND VOTE THEY WAY THEY TELL THEM TO VOTE. LOOK AT HIS RECORD VERY CLOSE. HIS WORDS MAY SOUND GOOD BUT HIS ACTIONS TELL HOW HE GOVERNS.

This is about Hillary crying, there are plenty of other places for you to debate who is a better candidate.

  • Posted By: ranman101 @ 01/07/2008 5:50:18 PM

The Hollywood friends have come in handy. Acting lessons!!! Way to go Hillary, still a Clinton....win at all cost.

  • Posted By: mfirestone @ 01/07/2008 5:40:07 PM

You guys are all idiots if you vote for someone based on whether they are female/male, black or white. So only females have emotion and give a *** about our country and where we are today? I dont think so. Many of the candidates are equally as emotional about this country, are you? We are in real trouble here people. We need a strong leader to get us out of this mess no doubt, but make no mistake about it, Obama doesnt have the experience. Hillary is qualified for the job although she will not get my vote. But that doesnt have anything to do with her emotions or lack of them, however I do have a trust issue where she is concerned. Seriously, this is why we are where we are... judge the candidates by who they are and what they stand for and make sure YOUR VOTE is aligned with theirs. Then and ONLY then we will have a nation that is ran AND supported by its people.

For your first sentence.....I thank you, if ppl vote based on gender or race alone, please move to another county and ruin that place and leave America alone.

  • Posted By: debbadoo @ 01/07/2008 5:48:27 PM

Whatever it takes to win the race....she has not been sincere enough in the past for this to even be believeable. Hilary and Bill do what is best for them, or what THEY deem best for the country no matter who it hurts. Ends justifies the means. I'm sorry but I don't want the democrats spending my very hard earned money. Learn to live on a budget and make cuts in pork spending. I have to ...why doesn't the government. Someone is not going to tax me more so she and her husband can STEAL more silverware that I BOUGHT as a taxpayer with my outrageous taxes a second time. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice......I CAN'T AFFORD IT !!!!

  • Posted By: devildawg76 @ 01/07/2008 5:48:06 PM

I seriously may lose my lunch after reading that article.... I mean, this is sooooooo CLEARLY calculated. Hillary Clinton is a cold, heartless political hate-machine. Mark Penn told her to cry and she did. I really hope America and New Hampshire are not this gullible.

  • Posted By: ranman101 @ 01/07/2008 5:47:42 PM

With all of the Hollywood friends of the Clintons, it seems as if she was acting. Its amazing that while supposedly on the fringe of tears, she doesn't skip a beat with her campaign speech. Real, or Hollywood moment..........these are the Clintons we are talking about....win at all cost. Do I respect Hillary, yes, but does she represent change, no.
