Well, this was'nt a little girl who fell down and skinned her knee on the playground, this was a woman, who got beat handily in Iowa, and is now 2 digits behind in NH.If I was a woman,I'd wring my hands and cry too!

Whatever it takes to win the race....she has not been sincere enough in the past for this to even be believeable. Hilary and Bill do what is best for them, or what THEY deem best for the country no matter who it hurts. Ends justifies the means. I'm sorry but I don't want the democrats spending my very hard earned money. Learn to live on a budget and make cuts in pork spending. I have to ...why doesn't the government. Someone is not going to tax me more so she and her husband can STEAL more silverware that I BOUGHT as a taxpayer with my outrageous taxes a second time. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice......I CAN'T AFFORD IT !!!!

First of all Skull, i think you're applying your own connotation to Hillary's crying. Like most people, you're probably viewing it as a sign of weakness, but some of us look at it as a sign of fierce passion, which is EXACTLY what this country needs now; a person who committed to leading our country passionately and without reservation

actually it was a pathetic attempt to get a rise and a stir from other women. It was because and ONLY because she is slipping in the polls, she is making a last ditch effort to rouse up any possible "sympathy votes." She is a con, and your so guillible and suggestable you buy into it. It may not be weakness on her part, but it was anything BUT authentic.

Just try to remember when SlickWillie was prez...all the crap he did - did you ever see her shed a tear? Hell no. She really deserves an Oscar for this performance. I - and lots of my contemporaries - simply DO NOT TRUST HER!

Major media, give us all a break. This time around, focus on the candidates' words. Not on your perceptions of their physical appearance. If they lie, let us know. After failing miserably in the 2000 and 2004 elections, get it right for once.

I just love it when people comment on Hillary staying will Bill through the cheating times. Isn't marriage supposed to be in good times and bad. Should 't you work hard to save your marriage. I admire her for sticking it through. I think the republicans are to blame for her numbers going down. In states where there is open primaries, they are having them vote away from her. God forbid we have apresident that has half a brain and better yet a women.

This is about her crying. Save your marriage problems for a different place.

When did they let you out of your padded room? Only an idiot like Rosie O'Donnell believes that crap. Are you her?

Get me a trashcan... I mean, seriously, that is the most nauseating thing I have ever read. This is CLEARLY a tactical move. I really hope America and New Hampshire are not this gullible.

  • Posted By: andrea23cubs @ 01/07/2008 5:44:45 PM

Who cares about New Hampshire. Los Angeles alone has more people than that, and Los Angeles County more than all of New England. See how Hillary plays out in California before you say she's dead.

As a black male, It would be nice to see Obama win as president but more is needed. I trust and believe in Hillary because of the time she has put in, because of the mistakes she has made and because I feel that under her leadership we will be a different country, with a different outlook and quite possibly emerge a different people. She has my vote and my confidence.

Oh pleeease! Everytime she feels she's in trouble she trots out the tears and the feminine poor me. Like her hurt feelings in the debate the other night. How embarrassing...she has set the women's movement back 50 years. Margret Thatcher she's not!

I've lost track remembering the number of times George W. Bush, as well his father, have teared up in front of the American public. Both have even acknowledged they are emotional. The media should get their facts straight. When John Kerry's voice quivered over his farewell speech, did we read "John Kerry Tears Up"? . Please Newsweek no more headlines on clevage, hairstyles and tears. Tip: Substance not Headlines!!

  • Posted By: netdude_59 @ 01/07/2008 5:42:47 PM

what's up with people talking about no experience in military? may i remind you of bush? how about obama? shut your word hole and think through your thoughts before posting them.

  • Posted By: Ol' Joe @ 01/07/2008 5:42:39 PM

BS the people and still lose? I would cry too!

  • Posted By: mac303 @ 01/07/2008 5:06:40 PM

If GeorgeBush had been able to cry once about the innocent civilans that have died in Iraq and the American soldiers who died driving in Humvees without adequate protection or our citizens who will struggle now with the rapid inflation from his profligate spending our country would not be in such a mess. Please bring on candiates that can feel emotions even if their eyes tear up. The hate Hillary bloggers should get a life. Hate should be reserved for the vilest, basest humans that commit grave crimes against humanity.

Comment: This country has become so cold and synical and hated--by both other countries and, regretfully, a lot of it's own citizens. I still believe it can change before it all comes to an end, and continueing on the same path with the same cookie cutter presidents will offer no change--no hope. I admit there is no candidate that I feel extremely passionate about--they all have something I don't agree with on their agenda--no matter which party. I doubt that Ms. Clinton can pull this nomination out of the hat, but I for one liked seeing some humanity in a candidate. Look where our current commander-in-chief (who--what do you know-shows no emotion--or anything else) has led us? Maybe someone who actually feels the loss of all our brave soldiers and the pain of the increasing "working poor" and the suffering of the seniors who must choose food or medicine could REALLY make a difference for us. What we have had up til now has led us down a sad path. I gained more appreciation and respect for Hillary Clinto today. For real CHANGE you must try something different, perhaps out of your comfort zone. I want a human in the white house for once, not a puppet or heartless poser. Based on the past two elections our country will once again choose the path that is most familiar--too bad for all of us (again). Clinton has my support and my vote if she is still in the running when my state has its primary..

Our nation needs a woman president and Hillary Clinton is the most qualified RIGHT NOW, that we'll change after 4 years. To show a balance of her personality characteristics is a strength, for both, woman and man. Emotions are like 'clouds' that pass through us....I bet that Barack Obama and John Edwards also shed tears sometimes, it's healthy! Ideal would be to have Hillary as the president, John as the vice president and Barack as the secretary of state, to magnitize on their strenthts.

Emotions are like 'passing clouds' and its good that Hillary showed her more sensitive side. I bet that both Barack Obama and John Edwards cry sometimes, too, for healthy reasons! Ideal would be to have Hillary as President, John as vice president and Barack as Secratery of State, to maximaze on all of theirt talents and gifts.

Have you lost your mind? America needs the best person for the job, who gives an ass if it is a man or a woman. Unfortunately HIllary is not the best person for the job as she can not obviously even handle the pressure of GETTING the job let alone performing it.

  • Posted By: Heavyfist16 @ 01/07/2008 5:41:33 PM

I would rather see a person cry about what has happened to this country then watch a stoic half wit strut his stuff totally unwilling to admit what he and his neocon cronies have done to destroy this union both domestically and abroad..
