    Cro-co-dile tears!

    • Posted By: sean2002 @ 01/08/2008 10:00:54 AM

No. It is human tear; just like yours and mine.

So, Hillary's voice cracked. She did not cry. Why isn't the press writing about the discussion that took place before this so-called breakdown that wasn't breakdown? Why are they not talking about the important things? When she laughs, they call it a cackle - if she were a man they'd call it a hearty. When she expresses herself directly and forcefully, they call her cold - if she were a man, they'd call her confident. The press and the bloggers need to get their priorities straight.

Hillary's tears? She's done like dinner... it finished Muskie, it will be her undoing as well. You won't see any great overture of voters saying "the tears did it for me", but it is a quiet chipping away at her dominance in politics. It demonstrates to so many of us in a subtle manner that she may have the passion for the office, but lacks the strength -- call it sexism if you like, but it's an unconscious feeling which will sway more than one voter - male and female.

Hillary "Croc-em" Clinton! Crocodile tears! I really admire the Clintons though but those cheap tears? C'mon...

Why does a basic human response make someone unfit to be president? Why does it set women back? How can any person worth electing hear the stories of the thousands of young men and women killed and not have any emotions? I would say that someone without emotion is not the person I want in charge of my country and my future. By the way, I have not been a Hillary supporter and I am not defending her politics. I am simply defending her humanity.

Usama just blew up the NY stock exchange! Where's our President?
SHE'S IN THE ROSE GARDEN HAVING A MOMENT. LEAVE HER BE!

      • Posted By: tyllek @ 01/08/2008 9:06:55 AM

What is WRONG with you?!? Just because she showed a little bit of human emotion doesn't mean she's going to "have a moment" and not do her job whenever something bad happens. I don't know why I feel compelled to defend Hillary's humanity when I don't agree with her politics but people who equate emotion with weakness drive me insane. Until we stop telling little boys to "man-up" and not allow them to be human we'll never advance as a society.

This was a REAL moment for Hillary. She is doing this because she cares about this country and the new, dangerous world we have helped create under the Bush regiem. We need a strong leader who is PROVEN, smart, intelligent, knowledgeable and is on a first name basis with leaders across the aisle as well as around the world. It is time to turn this country around in a positive direction, at home and as the most powerful nation in the world.. That person is Hillary Clinton.

    • Posted By: rudy.urian @ 01/08/2008 8:40:48 AM

So you mean strong in the sense to show fear and despair in the face of adversity, by becoming that female stereotype and crying when things dont go your way. Get a clue!

    • Posted By: justmeinArk @ 01/08/2008 5:05:33 AM

I whole heart agree with you regarding Hillary Clinton. I hopes She wins, not because of Her gender, but because I believe She is the most qualified and has a proven track record.

  • Posted By: SearchingMuslim @ 01/08/2008 3:22:11 AM

Is it possible to elect a Muslim president in USA someday?Anyhow, I like Hillary, as she cares about Muslim, and she even appeaed on SearchingMuslim.com to learn Muslim

    • Posted By: xrazorwirex @ 01/08/2008 8:24:52 AM

      WTF!!!!!??!?!?!?!?!??!?
you know that she started this bullshit rumor that obama is muslim right!! its been proven a LONG time ago and you hiliarites STILL believe it!!

  • Posted By: Sanene @ 01/08/2008 5:50:45 AM

    Best analysis:
At least Obama won't be crying in the middle of peace talks or tearing up when the Chinese invade Taiwan or blame the rest of the world power leaders for his shortcomings because most are white.

    • Posted By: xrazorwirex @ 01/08/2008 8:23:00 AM

china wont invade.. they just have to call up the trillions in debt we have with them and were screwed. i think its north korea thats gonna launch a gigantic assault against us, and whos gonna defend us? not our armys, were to busy "liberating" iraq and being stationed across the entire world. when NK comes lets just put hillary out there on the front lines and make her fix everything, because according to herself, despite all the facts in the world, shes the best one for the job!!

  • Posted By: SpeakUp @ 01/08/2008 8:21:43 AM

    Comment:

FACT: When Hillary is winning she is gloating, grating, cackling and venemous.

FACT: When Hillary is losing - she cries like the little B*@($ that she truly is.

This is not strength or humanity - these are simply tears of SELF-PITY that a poor loser sheds. And fake ones at that.

  • Posted By: mjc4499 @ 01/08/2008 2:33:59 AM

This woman is losing ground in this election, so she is now pulling out all the stops. She was so fake with the emotional response. How can anyone with any sense believe anything she says or does. Her plans to be the next president have been in the works for the past 12 years. Every move she has made has been calculated and manipulative to assure that she gets to this point. Now she is seeing it all slip away and she is getting desperate. This act of hers this morning will backfire on her.

    • Posted By: sean2002 @ 01/08/2008 5:02:36 AM

I thought Obama supporters are supposed to be all positive. They only know Hope, not fear; Unity instead of division, Love instead of hate. But as long as it is anything to do with Hillary, they suddenly become the meanest people, they can only see Hillary from the meanest filter, most negative viewpoint. So Obama's high-minded approach must only be a show for votes, otherwise why his supporters cannot be consistent in their words and deeds.

      • Posted By: rudy.urian @ 01/08/2008 8:19:13 AM

I do have hope. I hope that this country realizes that Hillary Clinton isnt strong enough to run this country.

  • Posted By: justmeinArk @ 01/08/2008 4:29:35 AM

As I read each comment posted regarding Senator Clinton and Obama, I am utterly astounded at the number of cynical People living in the U.S.
This is not a black or white, man or woman issue. The issue is Who is more qualified to lead this Country. I read some comments accusing Mrs. Clinton of being too emotional and weak to lead this Country. This Woman is by no means weak! This Woman has many accomplishments, as well as experiences to back Her credentials. She is no stranger to the American People, and her values and strengths have remained strong in the eye of a storm many times past. She has remained and stuck to obligations when most Women would have took to the door. She knows what it is like to face adversity, disgrace, slander, and every type of scrutiny imaginable and still stand. Yes, Hillary Clinton is strong.
And, the comments posted referring to former President Bill Clinton as " slick Willie " is absurb! Are You the same People that want a leader ( Obama ), that has half naked dancing women promoting Him on National television?? So, what is his character?? His experience?? His values?? So, he can talk good, but what is the fruits of his labor and the track record of his accomplishments?
This country needs a strong leader that has the experience, credentials of past victories, and a sincere heart for the American People. I believe Hillary Clinton has proved that already.

    • Posted By: rudy.urian @ 01/08/2008 8:15:06 AM

So....given this womans successes and experience... you would trust this cry-baby to lead our country? As a us servicemember, that is the last kind of leader I would want making decisions that put my life on the line. I gladly give it for my country given that we at least have a leader that wont nut up and cry when things seem to be getting tough.

decided last week would to vote for hilary no matter what

  • Posted By: yogibrat @ 01/07/2008 6:57:11 PM

I hope you morons remember that she tried to get healthcare for every american, as most of the civilized world has adopted the novel idea of taking care of all its citizens. Most of the civilized world has also had a woman as a leader, and as usual, all I read are comments from weak and fearful people; the same people that don't see anything wrong with the bush and good ole guys making a profit from the war which many young people, including my son, will be paying for. God help this counrty and its people who are so araid. open your eyes ,read something besides the right wing pundits crap, think for yourselves. It makes me very sick to think my two uncles died for this country, my father fought in WWII , my brother was in combat over two years in Vietnam, and my son is on his way for the second time to Iraq. Why? To "protect" a country that can not think foward.

    • Posted By: thevoiceof middleAmericaandreason @ 01/07/2008 7:10:03 PM

What a bunch of tripe. If your son is going to Iraq, he must be a lot smarter than you to be fighting for this country instead of tearing it down all the time like you libs. He wasn't drafted so he must be going because he chose to step forward to defend this country from our enemies. God bless him and may He open your eyes and the eyes of all the ignorant voters who keep voting for socialism by casting votes for the low-lifes running on the Democrat side.

      • Posted By: yogibrat @ 01/07/2008 7:31:14 PM

I am not a liberal, I don't belong to any party, I just think and come to conclusions. you, poor dumd soul, don;t know that the top officers in this war are leaving because they don;t believe in the way things are being dont to protect this country. This is not your 'conventional war'. The bush corporation won't listen to intelligent military advise, because your friends would'nt be making a profit. And other countries have humane healthcare for all its citizens; france, Canada, germany, etc. they don't seem to be anymore bancrupt than we are right now. And the fact that so many of my family members have foufgt for this country iIS NOT TRIPE.

        • Posted By: thevoiceof middleAmericaandreason @ 01/07/2008 7:52:32 PM

I apologize for coming on so strong to someone who is obviously all about emotion and completly incapable of intelligent debate. While the media did its best to paint our efforts in Iraq as ineffective and on the verge of failure, I know the surge has worked well and have heard many people with firsthand knowledge of our accomplishments there rave about how well we have served the people of Iraq. You can choose to bury your head in the sand of the media B.S. but thoughtful and well-versed citizens know now that we have done extremely well in Iraq with minimal casualties and the people there are extremely grateful. Now we just need to elect another Christian soldier as Commander-In-Chief to continue the fight against our number one threat to life as we know it - the radical Muslims who continue to work to destroy our country. That soldier will most certainly not come from the soicalist side of the political equation which is why we must chose the right Republican.

Hey 'voice of middle america', go take a nap. I wonder if there are any twenty something year olds with an opinion? It would be refreshing to here our young people speak up. I could not be more proud of my father, uncles, brother and son. I have spent a good part of my life worrying, praying and missing them. I don't take the sacrifices they have made for ALL OF US lightly..I just pray we elect a leader that will carefully consider the costs of our young peopls lives before sent to combat. We have stirred up a hornet's nest and when that happens, they scatter and sting. The threat of radical terrorism is quite real and it's worldwide, not just in Iraq. We must be smart, clever and learn the new ways of combating this hate. I love my country, and we must keep learning and evolving and talking. I believe it is the only way we will survive.

By the way, Canada has severe economic issues including high unemployment and the healthcare system in Canada and England is so bad many residents of those countries come to the U.S. for care. Try getting a few of your facts correct before you continue to look so foolish.

    • Posted By: militarybrat @ 01/07/2008 10:11:58 PM

First off just because someone doesn't support Hillary does not mean they support Bush. To assume that is a logical fallicy commonly called the either/or fallicy. Not every one who does not support Hillary is a moron either or that they follow only emotion based on political propaganda. This may be a shock to you but some of us actually have high IQ's, get most of our information from the primary sources (like actually reading her failed universal health plan proposal), are non-partician, don't vote by part affiliation, use logic over emotion and do not give a crap about race or gender or religion in voteing for who we think has the best policy outline. I am not "afraid" nor do I vote out of fear. I am very proud to be an American and of the military service of my father, grandpa, great pop-pop, uncles, cousins, friends and extra. I'm sorry that you are ashamed of your military heritage. I am proud of those in your family who have served and are serving. I thank them for my freedom, for their sacrifices and all that I have because of them (and those like them). I can not understand how you could feel shame at their service or even how your shame would compell others to support a particular politician, for that is irrelivant.

    • Posted By: southernwoman @ 01/07/2008 7:36:29 PM

      1. Her big healthcare plan was a FLOP. 2. It's senseless to vote for Hillary on the basis of her sex. 3. She is greatly lacking in character.

    • Posted By: bdk138 @ 01/07/2008 7:18:41 PM

The way she went about trying to "get healthcare for all of us morons" was a complete disaster. It took multiple lawsuits before the info came out that even her top advisors were telling her ALL ALONG that what she was trying to accomplish would bancrupt this country had she been successful. And it helped lead the way to the Republican route of 1994. These are well known facts - ones that I'm sure you'll ignore. So maybe it's those like YOU who need to read more than your party line's information. She's COOKED, plain and simple.

All the tears in the world won't change the fact that Hillary has yet to own up to her mistakes. She can't slam Obama for being inexperienced and then vote to invade Iraq knowing full well that it was a detour to stopping Osama. Hillary is trying to have her cake and eat it too, and it won't work. Besides, she's really crying because she thought the nomination would be a walk and that every woman would vote for her, but then Obama got Oprah on his side. That's a hell of a move for a guy with no experience. Besides, Obama represents new blood and a new generation that is well educated and is sick and tired of old people telling us we're not ready to lead when they spent their young years getting high and we are still young and paying off student loans. The baby boomers need to sit down, their time is up.
