BARACK OBAMA IS STILL A NON-DYNAMIC POLITICAL FIGURE. HE STANDS FOR HIS IDEOLOGY, STABILITY AND INSPIRATION. A WAY OF HOPE AND BELIEVING!! A key to sustainable success!
Experienced politicians (Like Clintons) have had more shortfalls for America that freshly ones! No creativity than following routine procedure!!!!
...Its a precise period now, Americans need straight and transparent answers to many questions worrying them for their future... 'Mr Right'
Barack Obama will add a new value to the America, new value to Americans, new value to the World!
He is 'New WINE in new Vessel' which is worth fully voting, no wastage.
!!! VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA !!!"

Obama fits in the 'gap' needed by Americans and International world desire for new America.

To nawawimohamad , Hillary Clinton be Vise President as you suggest..that She will compliment Him..What decade are you from? This is not the leave it to beaver decade. Women have came a long way since then..They can even vote!! I believe Mrs. Clinton can "compliment" Our Country all by Herself! And lead it too!!

It may be heartless, but being a female (and if you are female and say you haven't done it you're just full of it) I have cried to get what I want many times, that's what women do, and that's all she's doing now.

    • Posted By: sean2002 @ 01/08/2008 4:53:22 AM

You are not her. How can you be so sure? I am a woman too. I just don't cry to get something, if I cry because I truly feel I want to cry. By the way, according to the video, she didn't cry. She simply got a little bit more emotional.

    • Posted By: justmeinArk @ 01/08/2008 4:38:23 AM

No, I dont cry to get what I want. That is not a trait of a female but one of a immature spoiled brat!

  • Posted By: nawawimohamad @ 01/08/2008 4:42:55 AM

Hillary should just be the Vice President as a complement to the President. She is the person whom the president can fall back on.

  • Posted By: anelizk @ 01/08/2008 3:09:49 AM

If this woman isn't as transparent as a piece of glass! The posts previous to sean2002's posts, in my (humble) opinion, said it best. Her campaign isn't measuring up so it's another contrived, desperate attempt to gain power. Of course anyone has the right to show emotion, the question is: is it from the heart, or is it a misguided need to be number one?

    • Posted By: sean2002 @ 01/08/2008 4:32:43 AM

It is from the heart. If you are a Obama supporter, you are supposed to be high-minded and view everything from the positive perspective, such as HOPE not fear, Unity instead of division, Love instead of hate. So, how can you contradict to his doctrine and view Hillary from such a negative filter? Does your support of Obama has to be at the expense of Hillary???s dignity? or are you just a simply a hypocrite?

They are being so hard on Hilary, the press and everyone else. They are purposely trying to break her down and make her appear to be weak, I believe that she is just a truly passionate person. I'm sure that if they can bump Hilary out of the race you can bet your top dollar that the next will be Obama. That's what's wrong with this country, we fear change. Especially in our Government OBVIOUSLY ran by the majority, WHITE MALES. They would never allow a WOMAN or BLACK MAN go a head of them. I'm so sick of this.

then go live someplace else.......try africa for a change

  • Posted By: rab015 @ 01/08/2008 1:39:35 AM

    Matrix2002,
At least Obama won't be crying in the middle of peace talks or tearing up when the Chinese invade Taiwan or blame the rest of the world power leaders for his shortcomings because most are white.

    • Posted By: ytrulz @ 01/08/2008 3:09:24 AM

No he will be hiding under his desk in the oval office

  • Posted By: jesswf @ 01/08/2008 2:02:13 AM

Obama is simply telling the voters what they want to hear...that this country is ready for change. But we all know change can go in either direction, and things could get worse (if you can imagine that). I haven't heard him say how or what he will make changes to, or how those proposed changes will be guaranteed to be positive or acceptable.. His inexperience is evident ...he and you should know that any proposed changes can be voted down...especially if he doesn't have the support and experience to draw on.

This country is in a hell of a mess, and needs more than "lip service" to straighten it out. We all have a stake here, and need someone with experience and "Washington know-how that can start immediately on the right track...not someone who will spend the first year at least in "on the job training",

Hillary Clinton's "emotional display" was due to her concern for the welfare of the country, and her comments were obviously from the heart. She can see the direction things are going, and fears for the future generations.

"It's about our country. It's about our kids' future. It's about all of us together. Some of us put ourselves out there and do this against some difficult odds.""We do it, each one of us, against difficult odds. We do it because we care about our country. Some of us are right, and some of us are not. Some of us are ready, and some of us are not." "Some of us know what we will do on day one, and some of us haven't thought that through."

I truly believe Hillary Clinton is fighting for more than just the Presidency...she's fighting for the survival and future of the Country, and she will "hit the ground running" from day one, to make the POSITIVE changes we so desperately need a reality.

Regarding the comment about "carrying a tissue in her purse"....I think if she's NOT elected, we all better get a big supply (of tissues)...we're going to need them. Isn't it time to get someone in office who is truly and deeply emotionally concerned about the well being of the Country ?

    • Posted By: Maryah464 @ 01/08/2008 3:03:22 AM

I couldn't have put that better and I wholeheartedly agree with you. The rest of the candidates just want to "be President" - I'm convinced of that considering how Obama and Edwards ganged up on Hillary like a couple of cut-throat high school nerds during that debate last Saturday on Jan. 5th. Anyone else out there agree with me and Jess?

It may sound heartless and all, but being a female and all, there have been many times..and if you are female and deny it you're full of it, that I've cried to get what I want. That's what women do, and that's all it is for her too.

  • Posted By: mike515 @ 01/08/2008 2:15:06 AM

The "crying" was obviously a well-scripted act, as her other strategies have not been working. Watch the timely pauses and perfect wording. She continues to be a sneaky, lying, power-hungry lawyer who will do whatever it takes to get what she wants. It appears to have worked on a lot of you. She did perform it well. Additionally, the author of this article is clearly biased in her favor. She has shown in the past, in her words and actions as a senator and first lady, that she cares about herself more than our nation. I have personally met Obama, and he truly does care about improving our country.

    • Posted By: sean2002 @ 01/08/2008 2:39:06 AM

      Another heartless comment.

So Hillary is not a human being who has right to show emotion?

  • Posted By: Gettingby @ 01/08/2008 2:13:49 AM

Oh my gosh, do I push the red button or the blue button...wah wah. So many decisions health refund , social security retirement, high gas prices etc etc etc. What's a girl to do...wait I need a midol.
After 911 many strong leaders shed a tear for what had just happened to this country. It was the modern age version of Pearl Harbor all over again and it struck home...hard. Being behind in a opinion poll is not the time to show signs of weakness. With the many problems this country is facing right now I don't know if anyone will be able to get us back on track. It does not matter if it is HRC or Obama in the white house it is going to take longer then four years to get us back on course. If that was a stage act by HRC it was a bad move and it will back fire in the long run, if she was being sincere it will show a sign of weakness and she will not be taking serious from the rest of the world leaders, she is in a no win situation no matter what. A lot of people do not remember that Magaret Thatcher had a very rough time as Prime Minister of England, but Tony Blair was more popular and respected by his fellow world leaders and yet he had a rough time as well. I learned a long tme ago a strong leader does greive and show respect for his dead and wounded and then he gets up and starts kicking ass and taking names.

  • Posted By: Capntrwmn @ 01/08/2008 2:09:21 AM

I didn't buy her tear for one second. ....She had a smirk on her face. She should be up for a Grammy, not the Democratic candidate..

  • Posted By: dealagain @ 01/08/2008 2:07:22 AM

Not only Crocs shed tears even politicians do, remember Nixon?!! Have Americans forgotten whitewater ? Well some have not, especially the bereaved families of victims, if only railway sleepers could talk, it will not be only tears!!!

  • Posted By: bakejc @ 01/08/2008 2:07:02 AM

What BS..........it's obvious the media is spinning out of control again, or should I say, spinning the media for HIllary. Women don't react the way that way. When we cry, we CRY. Hillary wasnt anywhere close to crying, unless it was the realization that her campaign was dead. I'm SO SICK of the liberal media spinning the news for their own gain.

The American people are fresh out of trust for the Clintons. These are the same people who were present on their last flight aboard Airforce One when it was trashed. Eight years of the Clintons are enough. Regardless of how many crocodile tears Hillary sheds, she is unfit to be President of this United States of America!

  • Posted By: hyrum13 @ 01/08/2008 2:06:13 AM

I just really hope she doesn't get elected. We shouldn't add more than 20 years to the Bush and Clinton family dynasty she has had her time in the white house. So who is the 2016 candidate? Laura Bush vs Chelsea Clinton?

  • Posted By: elfo @ 01/08/2008 2:00:14 AM

Tears are not a sign of weakness. Everyone cries, though not always in a public forum. I believe we should pay attention to the tears of our soliders families and put compasion up there as a trait we want to see in our new president. I don't necessarily feel Hillary is the answer, but it's not because she couldn't hide her feelings.

  • Posted By: jodyjo777 @ 01/08/2008 1:53:55 AM

By the way people watch the video again Hillary DIDN'T ACTUALLY CRY!!! SHE GOT EMONTIONAL BUT DIDN'T CRY. I have seen MEN cry on TV more then that so stop saying it's because she is a women, grow up America. You all sound like a bunch of teenagers attacking someone at school and that's saying allot for me considering I haven't been out of high school for that long. I'm glad my generation will eventually take over this country and TRY to repair all the damages you baby boomers have done! And speaking on the campaign we need to LOOK at THE FACTS NOT the speeches these people are giving us. It???s funny how I am much younger then the majority of you all and I???m MORE mature in how I am selecting someone to give my vote for. Keep riding the Obama wave of change and see where it gets you people because that???s ALL he is waving is ???change??? talk BUT nothing on the facts. And nope I???m not a Hillary fan either I???m just not ignorant like the majority seems to be!!!

  • Posted By: joker1020 @ 01/08/2008 1:37:04 AM

Come on people, everybody knows that the tears are just another way for her to get people to fell sorry and vote for her and reading some of the commits, it???s working. Listen up people! ! in my opinion (and it???s just my opinion) Hillary will do anything she can to get in to office including lying, stealing and cheating. As a democrat we have to see past the tears and see her for what she really is. We need a strong person to lead our country not just another say anything (or do anything) politician.

    • Posted By: sean2002 @ 01/08/2008 1:53:21 AM

      This is another heartless comment.

  • Posted By: waytosew @ 01/08/2008 12:18:14 AM

Hillary Clinon showed today the human side of a very brillant, strong woman. I don't see how anyone with half a brain to see it any other way. Honestly, this woman has weathered so many storms in her life and handled it with such class and decorum,
She is the best our nation has to offer, We need a strong, individual who can stand in the midst of a storm and still have a compassionate heart to see those in need around her.. No this was not a moment of weakness, but a heartfelt example of how much this woman loves our country and the people who live here.
She has a passion for civil service and I believe she will stand the test of time as a great asset to the USA.

    • Posted By: lexigrandma @ 01/08/2008 12:48:48 AM

Waytosew...surely you're kidding...a strong brilliant woman. A strong brilliant woman would have kicked her old man to the curb for playing with an intern in his office and dragging their marriage through the mud so publicly!

      • Posted By: jquoin @ 01/08/2008 1:48:15 AM

Not everyone feels that marriages are disposable. Maybe people should stop trying to think everything should always be hunky dory and make a committment. Have you considered the possibility that she loves him and wants to still be with him? Have you thought that perhaps she wants to keep her family together. Have you thought (GASP!) that she believes that marriage is a sacred institution, sealed by God and cannot be divided by man, even if you are mad at him? On another level, it would have been bad for teh Clintons to go through a divorce so publically and let the country divide the assetts. Maybe, she cheated on him first; the moral of the story is you cannot dumb down a marriage to be you made me mad, I am pouting. Kudos to someone mature and responsible enough to work through a tough and embarassing situation, and come out with her head held high in the United States Senate. Teenage hot headedness is not the way to make decisions. And by the way, I wouln't vote for her if my life depended on it.
