    When are we going to stop asking the government to pay for our responsibilities and run our lives? The governemnt offices are ridiculously overstaffed with a bunch of people doing very little. Do we want our Health care run like the DMV? No, that is why our health care is the best in the world--competition. A government run health care would lower the standards considerably. Did you know you CANNOT get a second opinion with HRC'c plan? If a doctore gives you one, he can face trouble from the government. Is that what you want? I get a second opinion about an issue in my pregnancy and it literally SAVED TRHE LIVES OF MY TWIN DAUGHTERS. Hillary's plan would have given them a death sentence. Get a job, pay your bills, and stop suing doctors for dumb things so the cost doesn't keep skyrocketing.

      remeber the old speech the dems say is great.. ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country...they love the speech but hate the message. They are hypocrits, down to the very liberal college professors who try to endoctranate every kid entering college.. I was in history class and I questioned a lesson written by liberals that the governors in the south were all democrats and not conservatives during the civil rights era like the lesson said. he kindly wrote me back that they were not liberal democrats, they were consrvative democrats and were not the same thing.. which got me to thinking...

      Why is FDR embraced by dems, then these racisist bastards shunned as not dems, then kennedy and LBJ embraced again..why are they able to cherry pick who was in their party in history? It confuses me...

Those people need to look pas that BS and look that what she has done and hasnt, there ae people at McDonalds I would rather have for president..

      I can't think of a single politician who isn't fake! They are all trying to get elected, and it is up to us the American public to choose the most qualified for the position. I hope that each and every person voting truly thinks their vote through! We cannot afford for this country to have another president like the one we have now. Bill and Hillary may have lied about the sexual misconduct of a president, but they didn't get us into a war with their lies and nobody died because of it. Remember the important issues not the issues that have nothing to do with running our fine country!

    Huh??? Hillary is clean and Bush commited treason.. you talking about that phone tap thing? the same phone tap thing the Clintons did for eight years when we werent in a war..

    oh yes we were, the Bosnia war wasnt sanctioned by the U.N. either. It's not until we got control that they became involved. Why was a war the populace did not vote for or the u.n. did for that matter when clinton was in office not called illegal. why were phone and wire taps the clintons did while they were in office not illegal but it is now? why was the closing of miliatry bases and limiting the military numbers by clinton not called treason? Why are the embassy bombings, the uss cole bombing, the two bombing tries of the world trade center, and the eventual 9-11 twin towers coming down from two jets running into them not considered blood on Bill and Hillary's hands by limiting our defense?

    All he did is what all dems do in the face of a terrorist attack in which U.S. personel are killed and someone tries to invade. They fire two rockets at empty fields or try to give each and everyone of them a permenant drivers license. If dummy Bush is being blamed for starting this war and lying about the reasons for starting it even though they say he recieved bad intellegence reports. Why can the Clintons get away with shooting rockets at an empty camp using the excuse that they recieved bad intellegence.. what gives them a pass.. or worse yet, not giving the ok to assasinate Bin Laden when the CIA had him in their sights?

    Maybe you should get a better argument and think of what the candidate you back has done wrong before you blame the whole war on Bush and the Republicans. Fact is, if Bin Landen was taken care of when Clinton had the chance in Africa, this war would have probably never started.

    Obama's typical speech messages:
    "???.stand by me and we will change the country and the world???".
    " The country needs a real change???."
    "???folks, change is what this country need right now!",
    "???we don't want the same people in the white house, we need change"
    "???I am an agent for change, help me implement change???"
    "???this is a revolution for change!"
    "???..if you vote for me you will be voting for change"

    Notice the lack of content. Notice the repetitive term "change". Notice the lack of willingness to point to any realistic records for change. Notice the lack of details to the changes that he is proposing. Most importantly, notice how broad the definition of 'change' is and how VAGUE it is. A vote for Obama is a vote to confirm that you this country can not be bother with specifics. A vote for Obama is a vote to say???"don't ask don't tell"???..A vote for Obama is a vote for ignorance. The country is at a cross road, we need a Woman who has defy the odds to get where she is now???.a woman who has done the tough battles???.a woman who knows what it really takes to make change happen and know too well that talk is cheap.

      I totally agree with you this is what I have been saying the WHOLE time about Obama. He is riding his change wave and everyone is buying into it. He is not speaking about WHAT CHANGE he will do for this country. I guess (God have mercy on us) if he becomes our next President I will get to say I wasn't ignorant enough to vote for him!!

    It is ironic. After all this support for Obama (you can check all my past record), I suddenly don't like Obama any more when he is in the edge of winning.

    I feel he is shrewd knowing how to win but I feel he is just another politician knowing how to put a good appearance.

    He also loves power just like every other politician.

    He also loves glory just like every other politician.

    He is lucky that he doesn't have any baggage because he is young and he is not around long enough to have any baggage.

    That's why he doesn't need to go negative, but that doesn't mean he is really that nice and decent because the bottom line he still wants to beat everybody and to grab that power.

    He has used all his advantage to against Clinton such as he is fresher (but that's nothing of course he is fresh considering that he hasn't been around longer). To me this is clever, but this is another way to show that he is actually cunning.

    I can sense under all this "Hope," Obama is also ruthless wanting to win. And he is lucky without much record he doesn't need to go negative which makes him look better.

    Come on people, everybody knows that the tears are just another way for her to get people to fell sorry and vote for her and reading some of the commits, it???s working. Listen up people! ! in my opinion (and it???s just my opinion) Hillary will do anything she can to get in to office including lying, stealing and cheating. As a democrat we have to see past the tears and see her for what she really is. We need a strong person to lead our country not just another say anything (or do anything) politician.

      sure buddy, and the Republicans have sooo much to offer right now. I can honestly say, the only way anyone of them can beat the Democrats worst candidate is by stealing another election. Never forget, the conservative Supreme Court chose our 'President' in 2000 and good ol' 2 point (thats what he was called in college, figure it out, he wasnt very bright) lost the popular vote by millions. so, there should never have been another bush, but its amazing what greed, power, and manipulation of ignorant voters will get you.

        Sure nothing to do with gas prices now that the DEMS are the majority in CONGRESS...fact is gas would only go higher with Dems in power and their socalistic policies. Look at England, they charge 8 pound a litre to pay for their socail programs. (Yes there si no shortagem they get oil from the bearring sea) My gf and her family are from England, so no I got that stat directly from them.

        Can you imagine paying 90 bucks to fill up your 10 gallon toyota Carolla to pay for an illegal alien who refuses to learn to speak English healthcare bill? Or how about bi tching about waiting in the e.r, for five hours for care here, while in England and Canada they have to wait for days and schedule in advance?

        Those policies are worse than anything the repubs have ever done. The only reason taxes are lower now is because Reagen lowered them from 75 percent to 19 percent...which Clinton promptly raised to their now 30 percent levels...gawd you are sheep, no one can help themselves.. what is more of governemnet controlling your life, phone tapping that was legal when clinton did it in the 1990's. Or 50 percent of your paychecks, which dictates what house you can buy, what neighborhood you can live in, what school you can go to, what car you can afford to buy, how much savings you can accumulate, and what you can afford to do in your free time. I guess leaving your porch and walking down the road a mile or so is all the entertainment you dems need. while the rich you hate will continue to thrive...yes especially the liberal hippy democrat rich.

The election of Bush the last time was one of the biggest mistakes for the american people and even the rest of the world.     Everyone has told her for 4 years that she would be the next president. She's teary cause she see's it slipping away. She is probably the best, most qualified candidate, but wouldn't get my vote because as it turned out, she IS/WAS a "cookie bakin, stand behind your man kind of woman".....She should have kicked Willie out--she could have won on her own.

      we are winning it, check out other sources except the liberal media that is not reporting it anymore...there has to be a reason that the war refugees are returning back to iraq in droves now and stories of suicide bombings have all but dissappeared that they are not happening anymore. Oh wait, yes, we do have the odd one or two bombings in afghanistan that is being reported.. I wonder why they didn't report our major voctory in Afghanistan on December the 5th 2007 and only reported nothing was going on there.. perhaps if they repotered the surge has worked and order is being restored that it would make them all look like the socailist, defeatists, liberals they are. Journalsist are supposed to report all the news and not cherry pick what they wish to report to suport their political leanings. If the governemnet tried the same tactics, you would be calling them a communist or fascists dictatorship... what do you name an industry that is sposed to be honorable, honest, unbiased, and report both sides of a situation but instead choose to only tell you half of the story?

    To all of you who decide that Hillary is full of whatever, and all the other politicians are placed on pedestals a mile high, you all forget, as emotional as you want to back your candidate, every one is full of it as much as the candiate you aupport. You are in denial if you think otherwise. So, when all is said and done, the electorate might be voting for the greatest actor of all time for up to the next eight years. Okay big-shots, show me your perfect politician, and I will toss grenades left wing, to the right wing and everyplace in the middle. You all are a bunch of whining hypocrites, trying to play one-up on each other as if your personal candidate walks on water, with no character flaws, no personal issues, and are so damn perfect. I can puke on the commenaries in this column. If you all are so damned perfect, why don't one of you people who love to berate your politicians run for office, see how honest you can be, and watch the bucks make your decisions too. It is no wonder the general public feels apathy and antipathy with all the candidates. You want change, get out and vote. Stop the nonsense, your ballots speak volumes., not your whining positions about how terrific your candidate is or is not...

    Typical Newsweek article--sucking up to the Clintons--here's a candidate who has done nothing of substance her entire life except say "I do" and has been handed everything on a platter because who she married and can't stand it when she can't control people around her---the more people see unscripted Hillary the more her popularity will plummet---she's a phoney--I'm sure her crew is polling America right now re the crying--if the polls so indicate- get out your handkerchiefs!

      Comment: Hillary went to Yale and as First Lady of Arkansas, founded Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, introduced Arkansas' Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youth, and worked tirelessly on behalf of children and families, while practicing law in Little Rock. In recognition of her professional and personal accomplishments, she was named Arkansas Woman of the Year in 1984. Seems to me she has always had ambitions that are separate from her husband's. It's also well doccumented that she kept up these ambitions as first lady. She then became a United States Senator who is very good about being present for votes, etc. Many Americans are working couples. What's the big deal? The fact that her husband was president factors in, just as it did with Bush and his father. At least Hillary wasn't a whiskey and coke head while her husband was in office. Hillary is actually a representation of moderm times (as posted earlier). She also married Bill way before he had any power or fame.

        I live in Texas, Arkansas educational system is a joke, worse than it is here or any other state and they have really high Medicaid rates. Why did hillary abandon Arkansas on her bid for the Senate and instead choose to run in New York if she was so good, and has she set up programs like those in New york.. they do have a wayyyyyy leftists liberal candidate running New york she can work with to get all her programs passed you know. Could it be that the people of New York still are not as poor as the people in Arkansas, could that be the reason she didn't run in Arkansas when she had the chance?

    I am sure her PR people told her to look more human, to show some emotion and this was all a carefully crafted demonstration of her "human side" --- notice, she did not tear up fully, this was all ever so well-contained. She still delivered all her messages beautifully. Seems rehearsed to me.

      It isn't Bush who decides who gets new equipment in the military, it is Congress. Instead of creating a bill for more money to go towards new equipment and resources they are busy naming libraries and running around trying to blame people for their screw ups

        Congress allocates the money, they as a unit actually direct very little of military spending.The military budget is a giant ****hole filled with 1000's of hands attached to lobbyists, corporate profit margins, etc. that grab their cut as the money is sucked out our pockets. What's left is having a difficult time keeping the soldier safe and healthy.

    It would be nice to have a president that isn't a socialistic power hungry @#$#$@. Hillary wants to control the purse strings of the largest purse. She claims to have experience by being the wife of an ex-President. Well, my spouse could not do my job simply by virtue of being my spouse. Me talking about my job, and taking my spouse on assignments, does not make my spouse qualified to do my job. Wake up. This has nothing to do with electing the first female, or any such thing. This is about electing a socialist. The USA has been fighting socialism and communism for about 100 years, now we're just going to let them have it? Who's going to work if everyone can get a free hand out? It's already happening, but people like Hillary want to give more of my money away.

    Poor ole Hillary, all those white guys and one black guy ganging up on her, everyone says she's a strong women...baloney, her and her husband never stood for nothing unless the poles told them. Fortunately, America has wised up and seen that she's nothing more than an opportunist who took advantage of her husbands office.....now, cry me a river.
