Comment: After a childhood spent supping at the table of media, marketing and merchandizing moguls our children will use the vast pots of butterscotch pudding that are their brains to run our society as it is run in "Barbie Girls". The death of imagination that we are condeming our children to will be the death of us all. Wake up!

Comment: For the most part, there is NO research information showing that any of this 'tot tech' even helps children to learn more or better. If MTV has decreased the attention span of the previous generation, what do we think all of these gadgets are going to do to the current gen?

Comment: Sometimes I feel like my daughter is being raised in an alternate universe. There are different ways of defining that-certainly, this world is quite different from the one in which I was raised. And, yeah, when compared to the mainstream our household might seem kinda 'out there.' But, sheesh, this stuff is pathetic. Why can't Joe and Jill Consumer recognize that fact?
