    I am wondering if Laquita Gunther is formerly Laquita Willoughby of Trotwood (Dayton) Ohio. If so I attended elementary school with her. She used to bring in pictures of her mother in lingerie. I thought that was odd show & tell material. C. Taylor

    Well, kaso5e, the fact of the matter is that the most likely serial killer is a middle aged white male. There have only been a small handful of serial killers who did not fit this profile.

    The police seem to have profiled the killer as a middle aged man. I wonder why that is. I mean in my mind I think it could be a younger man. Maybe he went off to college for two years or the military. If you look at some of the crazy mass murderers they tend to be young to middle aged. And some of them are college aged. I visitor seems unlikely in all respects and being in prison seems like grasping at straws. Since I don't have any other information than what this article says, but sometimes I think by limiting the profile you could be limiting your vision.

    If the daytona police dept does find this person and it is proven that he commited such a crime as to take the life of another person I think that he should be put to death painfully and slowly to have time to feel the pain and misery that he has caused for himself dont just put him in jail for life what good would that do. eye for an eye if you ask me

    News has just been released about the case. So many were quick to judge that she was killed while out prostituting and they could not have been more wrong. The police now have a tape showing Stacey Gage grocery shopping in a Publix here in Daytona Beach. The video may be of her just hours before her death. There was evidence of her grocery shopping in her family van. So as far as we know she could have been car-jacked in the grocery store parking lot. The police chief Chitwood has also gone public about the possible profile of the killer. He is warning that the man will look safe and may be a clean cut looking family man. All women are possible victims here in Daytona Beach Florida.

      This bring to mind a story I read about somewhere else in Florida on the East Coast where a woman and child were abducted by a man in a supermarket parking lot and as I recall he was driving a Black Van.
      The woman was let loose and the man was polite and she thought he might have some military background?
      But the reason I am writing abut the Black Van is I as a psychic Meditated on the daytona Killer and I see him driving a black suv type vehicle down I-75 and he comes from Tennessee.
      I don't have the name of the town only tennessee and he drives a black suv type vehicle.
      The man may have gotten some women off the street but he may just watch for vulnerable women anywhere he can find them.

    Why would the man who found the body, not relate it to an actual person until he found out she had kids?? When or if you ever found a dead body, wouldnt you think of it as a person, not just some decomposing animal?? And why was he on a secluded road doing paper work at night?? Is that strange to no one else?

      The "man" was "the" man and I think that they have to become desensitized to finding human remains or they would go crazy. Talking with the family, seeing the pictures and children, would tend to make it all very real. Very hard. As far as doing paperwork, it is possible I like to believe that but I tend to believe he was catching some zzzzzz's, woke up to the smell or maybe taking a potty break, and stumbled upon the poor woman?

    Does anyone else see that he might be from up north and comes down here during the winter months for work or whatever?Have the authorities checked with other states for possible unsolved cases such as this?

    Ok, so we lost a couple of drug addicts and one normal looking person and even if it is a serial killer, you guys are gonna give him or her what they want, Publicity. So go ahead and motivate them you news idiots. Oh, and dont forget to give them a nickname. We would hate it if they didnt get what they wanted. Ooh how about "The Daytona Beach Typical" or "The Prostitute Slasher" . Gimme a break

    I live and work 2 miles from the street the last victim was found, and it terrifies me to think this man is walking around, perhaps even passing me on the streets. I fear for my adult daughter who works late, and hope the police catch this person before he strikes again.

    The police still believe there is a posssiblity that Stacey set up some sort of date on the internet and then used the "ice" story as a cover to her gramma.

    She was not abducted while or after leaving the grocery store. She returned home from there and then left again from home later to go to 7-eleven for ice, reportedly.

    Doesn't seem to be much discussion about this. I wonder why. Realistically it is not uncommon for a serial killer to get "satiated" and lay low or move to another area. Traditionally they assume a new identity, start a new life and pop up a few thousand miles away

    Years pass since Ted Bundy was a serial rapist...I fear that they have another Bundy killing theses women.I hope they catch him before its too late for the next victim...
