Comment: This is ridiculous!!! They mentioned EVERY candidate other than Ron Paul and Dr Paul had better numbers than most of the candidates that they mentioned. As mentioned by another commenter he raised over $6 million dollars in one day - an all time record - and raised $20 million dollars in the last quarter of 2007! Yet Huckabee is the success story for raising only 8 million in the same period??? WAKE UP PEOPLE, YOU ARE BEING LIED TO!

Sacrifice as little as a lunch out, a movie ticket, or a six-pack to make a Ron Paul donation!

Comment: By Holly Bailey | Newsweek Web Exclusive, With Suzanne Smalley, Richard Wolffe and Martha Brant

Ok I have one question here. Are the people listed above who wrote this article truely this incompetent at their jobs (as it appears to me and probably a few million other American citizens) for not mentioning Ron Paul raising 6 Million dollars in one day? I may not be the smartest man in the world but I know when a group of reporters has been paid off or just plain lies to the American people. This article is a pure and sure disgrace to Newsweek. Time to call out the truth police on this one.

Comment: Let us all just hope that Mr. M. Romney is our next president. With business savvy...that we really need in America where most the jobs have left the US. Please help America Mr. Romney!!!

Comment: We need an authentic non-hypocrite to run this place. Not someone who has sold out to the special interests. We have enough lawyers. USA is sick and needs a real doctor. Dr. Ron Paul to the rescue. At least try ot understand how the economy works. Learn some history and think deeper than what Fox/CNN dictates.

Comment: Mr. Romney will end his campaign, probably in late Februrary, with his large personal fortune $20-30M smaller than it was when he started. He'll set a record for personal money spent; no doubt about that.

Mr. Ron Poul is good. Libertarian-republican. It is nice. But He is not popular in USA. I think, that in this situation is better Mr. M. Romney.

Comment: We should vote for the RIGHT man not the POPULAR man. That's just silly. This is not a boxing match where we put wagers on the winner and collect money. We need truth and honesty, not an empty Armani suit that shines like his hair.

Comment: Bush was also "popular". But popularity is not what we should use to decide on who to vote for. That's just silly. Why allow the TV media to tell me who is popular?

Comment: Ron Paul out raised all the republicans in the last quarter and it was mostly SMALL donations. Meaning his supporters represent the mass of the people and not a few wealthy special interests. Why are you so scared of including him?

Comment: I have to say that it is rather odd that the only candidate to break the ALL-TIME record of most funds raised in one day - Dr. Ron Paul, was not even mentioned in an article about fundraising. He raised nearly 20 million in q4 alone.
