Comment: Rudy is a loud mouthed ***, rude and unprofessional. He is a washed out Mayor from New York, not a man fit for duty as the leader of the formerly free world. HE is a tool of the GOP.

Comment: Ending the mob? That was impossible to do. We all knew that.

Cutting crime and instilling 1950's style civility in New York? Also impossible.

We Americans would do well to recognize that we have a special talent in Rudy.

Ending our addiction to foreign oil? Also impossible.

Bring on Rudy. Have him get out a map, with a crayon line drawn around all the Muslim areas from Morrocco to Indonesia. Have him explain that if we get nuked, they all get nuked, just like with the Soviet Union. Then let's get out of their face and make fun of their incompetence from the sidelines. Rudy would be good at that. Ridiculing incompetence. That should be his foreign policy.

At home, Rudy's a guy who could get us off foreign oil in 10 years. Good for defense. Good for the trade deficit. Good for future technology, commerce, and industry.

Just like New York in the late 1970's, our rather pathetic and indebted America needs somebody who believes in it to shake it up and modernize it.

It ain't gonna happen. I wish it would. 9/11? It was also a face saving excuse for ideologue New York democrats to finally say thanks to rude Rudy for having done the impossible -- and cleaned up the (literally) the mob and urine stench from much of New York.

And I say that as a Bill Clinton voter who as of now supports Obama.

In the long run, we don't need experience. Or hope. When we look back, what we want to see are results.

we need results. And nobody, but nobody, has delivered on the impossible like Rudy. Sure, he didn't do it alone. But without him, can you really say those things would have happened?

Isn't it ironic: Xerox is hoping it can profit by teaching companies how to reduce their printing.
