Comment: Our society is obsessed with power. Of all the thinkers in human history, no one defines power better than Dr. Martin Luther King???
??? There is nothing wrong with power if power is used correctly. You see, what happened is that some of our philosophers got off base. And one of the great problems of history is that the concepts of love and power have usually been contrasted as opposites - polar opposites - so that love is identified with a resignation of power, and power with a denial of love.
It was this misinterpretation that caused Nietzsche, who was a philosopher of the will to power, to reject the Christian concept of love. It was the same misinterpretation of power that induced Christian theologians to reject the Nietzschean philosophy of the will to power in that name of the Christian idea of love. Now, we???ve got to get this thing right. What is needed is a realization that power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands in the way of love.???
These words might serve as the litmus test as to who is fit to lead our country.
The best way to honor Dr. King is to make his dream come true.

Comment: We need to reassert our position as leader of the word by following these words by Dr. King:
??? America, the richest and most powerful nation in the word, can
well lead the way in this revolution of values. There is nothing to prevent us from paying adequate wages to schoolteachers, social workers, and other servants of the public to ensure that we have the best available personnel in these positions which are charged with the responsibility of guiding our future generations. There is nothing but a lack of social vision to prevent us from paying an adequate wage to every American citizen whether he be a hospital worker. laundry worker, maid, or day laborer. There is nothing except short- sightedness to prevent us from guaranteeing an annual minimum - and liveable - income to every American family. There is nothing, except a tragic death wish, to prevent us from reordering our priorities, so that the pursuit of peace will take precedence over the pursuit of war. There is nothing to keep us from remodeling a recalcitrant status quo with bruised hands until we have fashioned it into brotherhood. (From ???Where do we go from here????)
This needs to be the backbone of our domestic policy.

Comment: The media is full of chatter about the wonders of the global economy. Dr King was particularly prescient about globalization:
???A true revolution of values will soon look uneasily on the glaring contrast of poverty and wealth. With righteous indignation, it will look at thousands of working people displaced from their jobs with reduced incomes as a result of automation while the profits of employers remain intact, and say ???This is not just.??? It will look across the oceans and see individual capitalist of the West investing huge sums of money in Asia, Africa, and South America, only to take the profits out with no concern for the social betterment of these countries and say,???This is not just.???
... A true revolution of values will lay hands on the world order and say of war,???This way of settling differences is not just.???
We need to remember these words whenever we negotiate trade treaties. We need to revise all of the rules of the World Bank, IMF, and NAFTA with these ideals in mind.

Comment: Americans need to be aware of what Dr. King said about America???s destiny
???One Day we will have to stand before the God of history and we will talk in terms of things we have done. Yes, we will be able to say we built gargantuan bridges to span the seas, we built gigantic building to kiss the skies. Yes, we made our submarines to penetrate the oceanic depths. We brought into being many other things with our scientific and technological power.
It seems to me I hear the God of history saying, ???That was not enough! But I was hungry and ye fed me not. I was naked and ye clothed me not. I was devoid of a decent sanitary house to live in and ye provided no shelter for me. And consequently, you cannot enter the kingdom of greatness. If ye do it to the least of these, my brethren, ye do it until me.??? That???s the question facing America today. (From the speech, ???Remaining Awake through a Social Revolution.???)
We need to remember these words this year as we vote.

Comment: Religion is a constant political issue. In fact, the Republicans affixed the cross of Jesus to the speaker???s podium at the 2004 Republican convention to show what faith they favored. Let???s see how Republican practices square with what Martin Luther King had to say.
???Dives didn???t go to Hell because he was rich; Dives didn???t realize that his wealth was his opportunity. It was his opportunity to bridge the gulf that separated him from his brother, Lazarus. Dives went to hell because he passed by Lazarus every day and never really saw him. He went to hell because he allowed his brother to become invisible. Dives went to hell because he maximized the minimum and minimized the maximum. Indeed Dives went to hell because he sought to be a conscientious objector in the war against poverty. (From ???Remaining Awake through a Great Revolution.???)

    Comment: A prevailing political attitude is the glorification of greed and selfishness. Here???s what Martin Luther King had to say about that attitude;
???All life is interrelated. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality: tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. As long as there is poverty in this world, no man can be totally rich even if he has a billion dollars. As long as diseases are rampant and millions of people cannot expect to live more than twenty or thirty years, no many can be totally healthy, even if he just got a clean bill of health from the finest clinic in America. Strangely enough, I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. You can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be. This is the way the world is made. (Sermon.. ???The American Dream.???)

Comment: To commemorate Dr. King, I decided to include one of my favorite quotes.
We are facing an election. Let???s judge the candidates by how the square with these words.
??? I have the audacity to believe that peoples everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, equality, and freedom for their spirits. I believe that what self-centered men have torn down, other centered men can build up. I still believe that one day mankind will bow before the alters of God and be crowned triumphant over war and blood shed, and nonviolent redemptive good will shall proclaim the rule of the land..??? (From the ??? Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech.???)
We ought to elect people who adhere to this ideal.

Comment: MLK would not have stood still for the resegregation of urban America, the poverty of urban education, the denial of access to health care, the abuse of immigrants, the separation of rich and poor and America's continued faith in violence as the solution to problems at home and abroad. Most of the people he cared most above, janitors and other contingent, low wage workers, get nothing from his holiday. The content of our characters has not been real great either.

Comment: Here's what Dr. King would want - he would want the electorate to be informed about the candidates they are voting for. Unfortunately, I don't think most people - especially those not on the Internet - really have thought through what Hillary Clinton is about and the choices she has made. Place your vote as to whether you think the voters are informed and read some more commentary on this topic, for whatever it's worth: http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/1/21/05324/1674/39/440324http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/1/21/05324/1674/39/440324

Comment: Civil Rights Martyr or Communist? Don't let the main stream media make the call for you....
On Labor Day, 1957, a special meeting was attended by Martin Luther King and four others at a strange institution called the Highlander Folk School in Monteagle, Tennessee. The Highlander Folk School was a Communist front, having been founded by Myles Horton (Communist Party organizer for Tennessee) and Don West (Communist Party organizer for North Carolina). The leaders of this meeting with King were the aforementioned Horton and West, along with Abner Berry and James Dumbrowski, all open and acknowledged members of the Communist Party, USA. The agenda of the meeting was a plan to tour the Southern states to initiate demonstrations and riots.

Comment: Yes, he was also a Communist, and it seems that a great deal of his doctoral dissertation was plaigiarized. Although he was a great orator and had a wonderful dream, the more I learn of the man, the less I respect him. He was not a great as this day makes him out to be, and he certainly doesn't deserve a holiday in his honor. I suspect that this holiday has more to do with black racism than with commemoration. Again, this day should be to remind us of the cost and rewards of human rights, not the life of hypocrites.

Comment: "Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree." --- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The people of Venezuela and the Cuban exile community in Miami, in support of the political prisoners in both nations, commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by carrying on his legacy of promoting, through peaceful means, freedom and equal rights for all. On January 15th, two trees were planted in Dr. King's honor, one in Miami, Florida and one in Caracas, Venezuela. Further, on January 26th at 4:30 p.m. at Riverside Park, Miami, Florida, there will be another tree planting event. If you wish to learn more about these events or other events planned for the near future, you can visit www.amavex.org or www.rutadepaz.org.

Comment: Today, and other special days like this try to think of someone who dies so that others may live. If you don't want to think about Martin Luther King, Jr. then think of others that have lived this courageous life. There are many, too many to mention in my comments. Then think of your life and the opportunity you have to live so that others may live and use these thoughts as gifts to everyone you can.

Comment: Reading through some of these posts it kind of makes me sad how few remember or follow Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream and beliefs. Ignorance cannot be fought with ignorance. Hate cannot be fought with hate. There are people on here making comments that are cruel, outdated, and demonstrate a lack of both education and good-breeding. But while every fiber of my being wants to tell them where to go and just how to get there, that's not what this day is about. Martin Luther King Jr. said "Returning violence for violence only multiplies violence, adding a deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars."

Let them make their hateful comments. But don't return in like. You're only feeding the hate and helping that endless spiral into ignorance. As the great cartoonist, Ashleigh Brilliant, once wrote "Be kind to unkind people, they probably need it the most."

So, to all of those whose opinions are not considered politically correct in this day and age, I have only to say to you, "I appreciate and respect your opinions and thank you for sharing but cannot under any circumstances agree with you and still claim to be an intelligent person. Have a happy Martin Luther King Jr. day!"

And to everyone else, use the hatemongers' comments as an opportunity to practice the peacefulness and patience that MLK Jr. so aptly demonstrated. Don't be the kindling to their fire.

  • Posted By: Seronac @ 01/21/2008 1:59:48 PM

Comment: While MLK was a great man who did a lot of good, he was also an adulterer and had other faults. I believe the emphasis on MLK is unfair and unwarranted. There are many other people who have done just as much for civil rights and for the improvement of the world: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and all the rest of the founding fathers, as well as Susan B. Anthony, W.E.B DuBois, Mark Twain, Ghandi, and many others. I don't view this as Martin Luther King, Jr. day, but as Civil Rights Day--THAT's what's important, not just MLK.

So, catch a clue, people. Get an unbiased view of history and world. Also, those who call for the death of racists are just as bad as the racists themselves, and probably are also racist. Anyone who says they are against racism and yet promotes one race of people over another is a hypocrite, and a foul human being.

And, third point: Whenever you post a comment online that is riddled with misspellings, poor grammar, weak and juvenile arguments, name-calling and other demonstrations of ignorance, you just undermine your cause and make yourself look stupid. Pay attention to what you're doing and give some thought to your actions, you may find yourself speaking, acting and thinking differently, and, at the very least, you and your arguments will garner more respect and thought everywhere you go.

Comment: What has and what does the dream mean to me.
His dream was for equality of all ; each standing together; race colr creed were to mean nothing. I never heard him refer to himself as an African nor as a black man but as a man with a dream. He sought for and led a fight for sameness not for separation but for integration. that dream can be realized if even one person is marginalized or looked on as different. He fought against the differences and celebrated the sameness of all men.

Comment: I respect Dr. King so much for all he did for this nation. He had a vision, and while we are not quite to the point of fulfililng his vision in it's entirity, we have come many steps closer. I believe that everyone on this site needs to stop pointing fingers at each other. It seems like some people want to take steps backwards, and all we can do to help this nation be a better one is to take steps forwards. There are white people who are still racist, and there are black people who are under the assumption that every white person hates them and to think that way is very nieve. Do we ALL have prejudices? Yes, but we can't let that blurr the big picture that Dr. King saw...everyone living side by side in peace. We all are accountable for ourselves and our own actions. We can't be accountable for someone else's thoughts and actions. Times have changed and the negativity that people still put out...even on here...towards whites and blacks needs to end. It isn't right. So if you truly do want to remember the Dr. King and all he stood for, think about how he stood for it. He didn't preach hate or do harmful things to people. Look at yourself...how do you want to be remembered?

I think society has made huge strides towards racial equality since then, due in no small part to Dr. King's efforts...My family is from Mississippi, and I chose to attend college there, even though I grew up in Washington D.C...Granted, racism can still be found there today, as it can in many areas of the U.S., although it is not as overtly expressed, and not as accepted...And much of what does still exist is simply ignorance passed down from generation to generation...I am now living in Washington, DC again, attending graduate school at Georgetown University, and here too, there is still a definite social class division unfavorable to blacks...For the most part, however, I think today's society values education and perseverence and integrity, no matter what color you are...On the flip side, if you act like an idiot, you will be treated like an idiot, no matter what color you are...
Dr. King's efforts gave a voice and a face to the black struggle...His message was about hope, strength, and a belief in the overall goodness of people...The holiday isn't about celebrating a man, as much as it is about celebrating what he stood for...

Comment: I am a 49 year old African American female with a 13 year old son. I just called him to come an read these comments. I am grateful for the humility of the Irish middle school student a for his/her having the heart to accept respsonsiblity for the horrible crimes of his ancestors against African Americans during the 1960's. My son and I ha've been listening to a musical tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the local Christian radio station and I have been enriched with such a concise account of all of the occurances during the Civil Rights movement. I was a young girl when these things were happening but I remember seeing the sadness on my mother's face and on the faces of other adults in my family at the news of the assassinations of the leaders and of President Kennedy. It is obvious by the comment of Angel4justice, that prejudice and ignorance still exsists in this country. Just ask the French as annick states. By the way, just what is "jig a boo!"? Peace~

Comment: I am thankful that Dr. King stood up to make that vision speech, if it wasn't for him the handicapped along with the blacks won't have the opportunity to have jobs or enjoy the freedom that he had mentioned in his speech at the National Capitol, It is not just the blacks but other races and the handicapped, deaf people and others. God gave him the vision and to preach it, and I have great respect for this man of God.

Comment: M.L.K. practiced what he preached, he preached nonvilolence and led nonviolent protest, he preached about unity, and walked with people of every race, gender, and creed. Infact, he was assinated when he was protesting poor wages/treatment for the "AFSCME Local 1733."

Rosa Parks worked for the NAACP as a seceretary. It was planned that she would get on the bus and refuse to move to the back of the bus. Yes, she along with everyone else who has fought and continues to fight for civil rights should be honored and will be. M.L.K. was assignated when he tried to unite the working and poor class and fight for their civil rights.

Rose Parks greatly respected M.L.K. and thought that he should be honored by everyone, every where for what he was trying to accomplish.

" Published Act no.28 of 1997 designated the first Monday following February 4, as Mrs Rosa Parks??? Day in the state of Michigan, her home state. She is the first living person to be honored with a holiday. "

This is what M.L.K. did the night before he was assasinated: "Gave a famous speech. King addressed a group at the Mason Temple in Memphis, giving a long speech in which he talked about the days ahead, and reflected on his life and the times it had been threatened. The speech concluded with the words: "I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land. And I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord." The speech was memorable not just for being his last one, but also because of the eerie way in which it seemed to foretell his own death."

Comment: first and formost this is a day to celebrate a great MAN dont really care what color or religion or what ever, he was a man who wanted to make a difference. I am 23 years old and never lived through the 60's or through black rights or what not, my mother said it wasn't as big a deal in Arizona and Cali where we are from so i guess i can't really understand the animosity between whites and blacks. I am fortunate enough to have lived in an area where there are many races, religions, belifs and coultures. I went to a school that was 65 % hispanic so as a white person i felt like the minority. There was much more hatred coming my way because of my skin color and i could neer really understand this. maybe it makes me ignorant not to be able to comprehend racisim because it never exsitsted in my white family. Id like to say though i am proof that you don't have to be black or hispanic or asian or indian or another race besides white to expereince hatred becouse of the color of your skin. I like King just want a world where we can all get along and love each other for the people we are not the skin we have. God did create us equal, and i just wish and pray that someday will see that. I belive we have come a long way, i mean look at our maybe future presidents, we have a woman and a black man and a morman a hispanic, and a thrice divorced man doesn't that say somthing for our country? Forty years ago that wouldn't have happend, I was sadded to see the pics of the 1st black/white prom in 2007 down south there what the heck in wrong with those people (sorry if your from the south i mean no disrespect) Dont they realize what day in age we live in, guess what there are even interacial couples ,GASP and oh no same sex couples GASP thank god for diversity it would be a totally boring world without it. So to every one lets all together celebrate a great man I would like to belive he'd belive he'd be somewhat pleased with how far we have come.

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA ??? Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul today issued the following statement reflecting on the struggle for civil rights and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. :

???It is especially fitting that we take the time to reflect on one man???s struggles to defend our Constitutional freedoms during this primary election season. January 15 was the birthday of the great freedom fighter, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and on Monday, we honor him nationwide for his sacrifice and love of liberty for all people.

???To me, the timing is more than a coincidence. The American people, regardless of color or creed, have the opportunity to choose a candidate who will uplift the ideals for which Dr. King fought???and died.

???The fight for freedom???the preservation of our civil rights???is the fight of our lives. Sadly, after Dr. King???s passing we are faced with a violation of our civil rights in the same vein as Jim Crow: The Patriot Act. I have stood against this and all unconstitutional violations of American???s civil rights, and will continue Dr. King???s charge as President.

???Dr. King would be disappointed in our current administration for more than its continued disregard for civil rights, as he stated ???a nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual doom.??? We need to change our interventionist foreign policy, and take care of our brothers and sisters at home. Our nation is in a crisis: we are spending billions on war overseas while those around us are suffering and losing jobs, homes, and hope. It is inexcusable; we must solve the economic crisis at home and bring hope to America.

???Dr. King???s heroic actions should resonate with us today, as we recognize that our votes strengthen the fight for our civil rights. Liberty is the true antidote to racism, and freedom-- limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights???can uplift us all.???

Dr. Ron Paul is a ten-term Texas congressman seeking the Republican nomination for President of the United States.

If you learned some history you would know that he fought for the rights of ALL men. He warrants a holiday, because he was a brave individual who fought against many social injustices at a time when our country was becoming increasingly volatile. MLK spoke out against labor issues, poverty, and for the rights of women, yes, women. I am sure you are a good man yourself, mike1964, but understand the history. Not just your own.

    • Posted By: solitary_dragon @ 01/21/2008 13:55:00

Comment: MLK Jr. had nothing to do with slavery either. He wasn't fighting for the freedom of slaves, given that they were already "freed", he was fighting for the equality of all people in America. As far as I can trace my family back none of my ancestors were even present in America at the time slavery was still legal and I may not have had anything to do with oppression, but as a woman I know how important MLK Jr. was as his efforts helped pave the way for the feminist movement as well. And he didn't even just speak about equal rights for all people or even just the demolition of oppression, he preached for peace and unity, a brotherhood of man, as well.

Anyone who believes that Martin Luther King Jr. was a man who spoke out only for the rights of the black community is a fool. He spoke for the rights of all peoples. And for those of you who think that Martin Luther King Jr. day is a day set aside solely to recognize and remember the one man should realize that that is not how MLK Jr. would have wanted it. It's a day to remember all of those, black or white or whatever color you want to assign them, who stood and marched with that man, who stood and listened to his speeches, who believed in what he said, who cried when he died, and still struggle to uphold his beliefs today.

If gathering up a community of people, a nation of people, and motivating them to rise up from beneath the boots that grind them into the ground and demand the respect and rights that all people deserved and do so in a non-violent manner in a time when violence ran rampant through the streets, if leading a movement that would forever change and alter the course of the USA and the American people, is not enough to warrant a legal holiday than I would like to know what the hell is.

Comment: I dont understand why cant white people acknowledge what they did all those years ago and accept that we have been oppressed but now we as a people(blacks) are able to raise above all of the hatred and live normal lives. Some people talk about Affirmative Action and it has taken away jobs from people who are actually more qualified than others. However, those of us who are educated with AS,BS, MS and other degrees still have a hard time getting jobs. Black people are not asking for handouts, but what we are asking for is the same opportunities as our peers. Even today, when you walk into a store, being a person of color, white people, move as aside like you are poison, like you are going to rob them, or whatever. Personally, I could care less about all of that, but don't disrespect me and you don't even know me. Not all people despite their color is all bad. There are bad people in every facet of people. When are we going to learn to live together and not judge others just because of the color of our skin? When are going to come together as a PEOPLE? We as blacks have a long we to go but we have acheived so much thus far. Also, some comments are talking about us coming together (Blacks) . We are coming together, look at Jena 6. We marched together as a people, that is what Dr. King would have wanted. I don't know about him cheating on his wife, I dont know about him not being smart in college; all I can say is that he gave his life for us:Freedom from being oppressed, to not being hosed down with water guns or beaten when we were not allowed to vote, being able to sit down and eat anywhere we chose, being able to use any bathroom that we chose, etc. Everyday should be an example of our lives, doing good and helping any person of any color. Let us stand for peace, freedom and harmony. Life is too short to be carrying around HATE in our hearts for people we don't even know. I say Let Freedom Ring, TODAY, TOMORROW AND EVERYDAY.

Comment: liberalism gone crazy. Are you serious? The liberals replaced washington day with king day. King wasnt 1/4 the man washington was. Read washingtons story. watch it on history channel. Everything you have you owe to Washington, yet the liberal media does articles like this to promote liberal ideals and promote blacks. Why do you think that so many whites dont like blacks? Its not skin color as the liberal media and blacks want you to believe. We dont like most blacks because of their culture, and the reverse racism we feel from them on a daily basis. It has nothing to do with skin color. Diversity is Perversity. We dont like our children being forced to go to school with them, coming home and "acting black" and wanting to listen to hip hop music. I have small children, they will go to private school just as i did. Affirmative action, giving jobs to less qualified blacks then you wonder why you call a government phone # the service you get is second rate. All the crime the commit on a dialy basis. It is all caused by an obviously overall lower IQ than whites. Black always wanting soemthing for nothing, always complaining about discrimination. Dont name your kids laquisha and teh like and teach them to act white and they can get a job. In a white controlled society you must conform to the society to fit in. When in rome do as the romans do. I know people that manage stores, when tehy see an application with lakisha or quantica or teh like application goes straight to garbage, no interview. It is assumed they must be ghetto. So all you dumb black parents that name your kids that crap all you are doing is hindering them in life.

Comment: Some 40 plus years after MLk delivered his "I have a dream" speech and then gave his life for what he and millions of Americans believe in...it is sad to say that very little of that dream has come to pass. We as Americans honor Dr. Kings sacrifice but the very obsticals that blocked the dream then still today stand in the way of it's fulfillment. Until Christ's acknowledgement that we are all equal in His and each others eyes, that reality of each of us must be judged by the character of our hearts and not by the color of our skin must be our guide in the acceptance and love of all mankind.
As this political season goes forward, I see and hear racial division defined by news pundants that continue to draw a destinction between the candidates color over what they try to define politacally. There is a great oppertunity now to bring togather a Nation of colorless United people to live and love in harmony the way Dr. King invisioned.
I am not a man of color by my skin nor in my heart. In my heart I am a man of the belief that this Nation's security is ingrained in the sacrifices made in the battle by Dr. King just as much as the sacrifices made by our soldiers made in the battlefields around the world. Until we accept and love one another, as one people under God, without color of skin, Dr. King's dream for "all" of us will continue to be no more than a speach "I Have A Dream".
in the battlefields around the world.

Comment: What we need is more people to realize that he did what he did by starting riots and by getting men and women, black and white killed. Now yes I am white, and no I am not racist, I have had many black friends. But what I am saying is that it perturbs me that he gets a day where the mail doesn't run, and banks close, but it takes the two greatest Presidents of America ever, George Washington, And Abraham Lincoln, to make a holiday. Especially when Abraham Lincoln fought for freedom of the black men and women as well.

Comment: You are so incredibly ignorant. He was known for his peaceful methods of dealing with what is today looked back as a disgraceful status for our country. Whenever something turned into so-called "riots" it was directly attributed to the atrocities dealt by the predominantly white authority figures of that time. Blacks were left to defend themselves against violent oppositions for exercising not only their god given rights to be treated as equals but for those rights that are outlined in this countries constitution. And by the way, if you have to sit and calculate how many "black friends" you have then the mere fact that there is a calculation involved might indicate a bit of racism on your part. Friends shouldn't be accounted for like in a pie chart (90% white 5% blacks 5% other). Friends are friends in a whole without have to distinguish race, religion, etc. Think about it.

Comment: This is a very good article it is good to see this in our nation. It is very SAD that Bill and Hillary Clinton are trying to take our nation back to these times of Segregation and Raceish. I know it won two primaries, but I pray that our nation does not go back to the way they are pushing. We have come a long ways!

Comment: The best way to honor Dr.King's accomplishments is by teaching our kids, grandkids, family members, friends, community members.............and son to respect every human soul and to avoid bigotry, racism and other forms of dicriminations.Because hatred is cultivated not somthing we are borne with.
