Behind every statistic, there's a good story. A look at how facts and figures can add up to something greater than themselves.

7 Things

In this series, NEWSWEEK interviews the artists, celebrities, musicians and newsmakers that fascinate us. In their own words, cultural icons get real about their art, their passions and life on the A-list. (Or B-list, as the case may be.)

Remember when the press protected women from this sleaze. I wish I could give this editor a good old fashion beating for degrading a woman in public. You make me sick. BTW I don???t think Palin belongs as a president either. You are on the other are a waste of oxygen.

When do we get help ? It seems to me that if each family in america was given $ 500,000 they could purchase what they need and the Auto industry and others would have to restructure or go away without destroying a nation of good people. The money would be placed in banks as deposits, helping their bottom line. They could prosper and the BILLIONS given them now ore later would not be needed. PLUS we would not be bailing out thos at tee top of the $ scheme.==They could learn to live as most of us, thinking about their needs and not their excesses.
