Its most likely that this 15 feet diameter saucer shaped balloon filled with helium gas is not big enough to carry the load of a six year old boy to lift off from ground. It is the new media which speculated the boy maybe in the balloon and produced a lot of suspense and excitation for the TV viewers. The owner of the balloon probably knows very well that with the boy inside, there is no chance the balloon can take off from ground to make a show for themselves.

    Haters.

That's the term that best describes all of those critics who have gone on warpath the moment Barack Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize. As a retired teacher who spent a life time teaching in an inner city high school in south Los Angeles, I am quite familiar with that term. My students used it to describe a clique of students, usually girls, who refused to accomplish anything productive, and instead spent their energies bad-mouthing students who tried to make something out of their lives. I also saw the same mentality behind a bumper I saw one day which said "MY KID BEAT UP YOUR HONOR STUDENT." Recently an honor student in Chicago was beaten to death by a gang of thugs. That tragedy is NOT new. Killing like that have occurred in Los Angeles on a regular basis, and one of the reasons I rarely left my classroom was to provide a safe haven for students during the school day.

So all the hatred and animosity that the GOP and the right wing spews simply proves that they are no better than the thugs and know-nothings back at my former school.

NOTE what Obama himself said when he received the news: "Let me be clear: I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of American leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations."
Or let's note another statement: "We can't accept a world in which more people are denied opportunity and dignity that all people yearn for -- the ability to get an education and make a decent living; the security that you won't have to live in fear of disease or violence without hope for the future.""

In view of the arrogance, hatred, and ignorance of the Bush Administration, and in in view of the current atmosphere of violence, ignorance, fear and hatred, not the mention death threats, that exist in this country, anyone who dares to make such a visionary statement - a risk to his own life - deserves a Nobel. You won't find such quality of leadership in the GOP, Wall Street, and certainly NOT in the media.

Obama made it clear that the Nobel Peace Prize was his prize but a prize for the American people. The gang of GOP, right-wing haters who are no on the attack don't hate Obama - they hate America. Like the ignorant, indolent adolescents I described, they have not positive vision for themselves or for America, and they cannot stand to America transcend the gutter if ignorance, violence, hatred, and fear that they themselves inhabit. Just like the Taliban, they want to see America fail.

    Great hopes fade to reality.

Hopes and reality never match. The ultimate winner has always been the filthy and ugly reality.

The only good thing about HOPE is it keeps one alive and pushes one to move on.

Many of us are saying if Hillary did not win the nomination, her supporters are either going to vote for Republicans or stay home in November. If this is true, then Americans are happy of the economy, the war and messy Republican Government. We have a candidate who is leading in delegates presumable our nominee, and yet we are listening to Hillary's desparate campaign slogan. If she was running against a different candidate other than Obama, she would have dropped long time. There is a reason why she is staying in this race that is why she is referencing the RFK death. I'm Hillary's supporter, and would love to see them back in the White House because of their great leadership, but not in this way sorry. She is tearing Obama down and yet her soragates wants her to be the VEEP shame on them.

I agree the candidate should be a strong leader, but maybe we need someone who hasn't been involved in diplomacy so much. This person could see things with new and, hopefully, clearer eyes. To think this person is going to be free of all ties and strings and commitments, is absurd. I certainly would not vote for the older one of this group, it isn't because of his age, but his screwball politics. We don't need 4 more years
of the total nonsense and incompetence the Republicans have put forth, which has ruined our economy and
is getting our young men and women killed in a war which was started, based on an out and out lie. I believe Hillary has many of the qualifications, but she is tied a little too tightly to special interests, and she voted for the war. Shame on her! Barack, in my opinion, holds the most promise for change. He brings new ideas and a fresh perspective. Washington is full of old ideas and cronyism, and you see where that has gotten us.

It is said that he met his wife, a beautiful model, on a tall dating site Tallkiss.com, where many tall models, tall players and tall admirers seeking love. Is that true?

Please consider the qualifications of a US President and a World Leader : -

    1. He must be an experienced diplomat and strong leader.
2.He must be free of all kinds of ties or strings or commitments.
3..He must be mature but old enough to have a second term.

Question to all US voters :- Do you think that anyone of the running future President posseses
    the above qualifications ?
